WE SERIOUSLY NEED TO TAKE MIKEL OFF

We are 10 men vs 11 - He is not helping in defence or attack - Giving Onazi too much work.

WHAT IS HIS PURPOSE!!!

He just keeps strolling along the pitch!

BUT WHO DO WE SWAP MIKEL FOR?!

Sports / Re: Difference Between Wenger And Mourinho (shocking Picture) by Rhydem: 1:00pm On Jun 30, 2014
RUBBBISH. Difference of what?!

The guy is enjoying himself in Brazil, playing Beach football, infront of fans - whilst he is in the country working.

Mourinho can do all he wants. You're comparing this same guy that questioned one of his player's age.

You plonker guy.
Sports / Re: Super Eagles: The Insult Is Beyond Belief by Rhydem: 6:07pm On Jun 28, 2014
Guy, the same thing happened here in the UK. They only showed Messi hailing amazing Messi - However Musa's goal were equally as good.

Nigeria need to beat France to increase their reputation. But I fear that if (and I say IF) Nigeria win the world cup, rumours of match-fixing will start spreading.

It's a shame.

Sports / Re: Nigeria Vs Argentina; Who Was You Man Of The Match? by Rhydem: 3:59pm On Jun 27, 2014
jp philips: Keshi should reconsider his position on using Mikel, a mid fielder who cannot make accurate passes, could not trade tackles shouldnt be in the squad, The effort of Onazi is the reason that mid field did not collapse, Messi was utilizing Mikel's space like he has a Nigerian passport.

Victor Moses needs to return, Yobo needs to retire, though his experience in the back line is the reason we haven't had any match suspension, red card or penalty but he needs to wake up.

Enyeama is a good shot stopper but Ike shoronmu have failed to teach him how to position himself, how could he have not known that messi has just one free kick option in the far right as a left footer?
He played the first one and second in the same direction, it still baffles me why Enyeama went the other way?

Ambrose is another waste, he is a central defender at Celtic, why is Keshi playing him as a right back? he cant dribble, as such cannot make crosses when he manages to overlap he doesn't return, since Mikel has murdered the mid field, it takes Osaze to return and cover up for him.

This squad has about 4 non performing wings as such will not make it beyond the knock out stage, perhaps we maintain the 94" record.

My Dobale goes to Ogenyi Onazi though I think that shot that handicapped Babatunde should be directed to the Argentine keeper.

I hate to admit it, but what you say seems to be right

Sports / Nigeria 2014 World Cup Jersey Leaked - TRASH by Rhydem: 2:07pm On Dec 16, 2013
I even prefer 2002 jersey compared to this. Imagine Germany's jersey compared to our own, we are given the same Jersey as Iran.

How can you have two different shades of green on a national jersey for goodness sake.

But it could be fake...

Sports / Re: Things Nigeria Must Do To Be Competitive In Brazil by Rhydem: 9:34am On Nov 19, 2013
Our defence also needs strengthening where is Apam, Adeleye and they should be allowed to come and compete for a place in the team.

In the midfield: Joel Obi and Lukman Haruna should be injected to beef up the midfield and may be Osaze, Ike Uche, Uche Kalu and Anichebe should be considered to battle for a place in the team. This is simply what the team needs to become world class.

Another one; Do not include playwes like Gambo into the team.
Sports / Things Nigeria Must Do To Be Competitive In Brazil by Rhydem: 1:08pm On Nov 17, 2013
For Nigeria to be serious contenders I feel we need to do a few things.

We were very good in the confederations cup, and I feel we will be able to compete realistically up to the quarter finals.

However, we must do a few things:

1) Drop Ideye Brown; he adds nothing. Bring in someone like Macauley Chrisantus - I even like Uche when he plays can be effective.
2) Find one attacking midfielder that can support Mikel effectively so he isn't doing both attacking and defending continually (see him against Spain) - Maybe Lukman Haruna

I would like to hear others thoughts on what needs to be done.
