RIP Pdp

Congrats APC for winning 2023 election in advance...

People won't understand Obi leaving Pdp means Pdp 2023 votes will decrease, they have more supporters in the south, no Pdp aspirant can beat Obi in a free and fair election in the south region.. imagine Wike/tambuwal or Bala / wike grin even Apc will sweep south south with wike tenure as governor coming to an end.... Because am sure they are also ganging to suffer Atiku on that day...

PDP not a better opposition party.
Wike has successfully destroy Pdp,

NNPP will have more votes than PDP next year if Obi or Atiku are not longer in the party..

Tinubu knows Apc will be planning consensus, that's is why he is heavily investing in core northern Apc states..
He has donated more money to northerners since his election campaign than the South West where he came from..

Well I don't support tinubu, but his political structure is not something you should play with.. that man might be planning to scuttle Apc plans, the reason for the crowded supporters in Kano might be a message he is sending to Apc, if they are planning to bring a consensus candidate.... showing Apc that he has the followers to win an election... Kano people even sow asoebigrin but tinubu never did that in Southwest.

And am sure tinubu will still put on thesame show in some major Apc core northern states like katsina,borno... Indirectly telling Apc that if they failed him, the party might explode, that is why he is using crowd to intimidate the party. but trust me if tinubu leave Apc nothing will change, he is just smart.
Expect thesame scenario in borno state, he is trying to show them that anything short of BAT presidency then the party will explode...

Politics / Re: Wike Blasts Atiku, Other Aspirants For Betraying PDP by Richardonald(m): 6:37pm On May 20
Awoleesu:

It may be difficult to accept your point of view for some reasons:

1. Wike is a strong proponent for power shift to the south (as a signatory to the southern governors forum 'treaty').

2. He may have preferred a Tambuwal in the last election, but his coming out now (as against any northerner) defeats that alliance.

3. You read here that he berated some PDP aspirants for decamping and bringing in the Buhari presidency... Tambuwal is one of those guilty as charged.

4. If for one credit, Wike has remained a strong and loyal party man in the PDP. If loyalty was to be a criterion, he outshines Atiku, Tambuwal and even Peter Obi!

So, whereas I wouldn't know how far he can go in this race, I just feel the point you have raised is arguable.
I understand, wike is the backbone of PDP, but wike being a tout, rascal politician can't be taking serious at national level. The guy is fighting with everybody
Politics / Re: Wike Blasts Atiku, Other Aspirants For Betraying PDP by Richardonald(m): 3:34pm On May 20
Wike is just making noise, wike cannot even win the whole south south and he wants to win party primaries..

Wike is working for tambuwal to be the party bearer, so he can get VP slot...

Atiku will never pick wike as VP..

Politics / Re: Kwankwaso In Shekarau’s Residence To ‘finalise’ NNPP Defection by Richardonald(m): 11:47pm On May 15
ArewaNorth:
Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has arrived at the Kano residence of Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, to finalise the agreement of Shekarau’s defection to the new but fast growing New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

Shekarau had been expected to officially announce his defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday but the plan was shelved for an undisclosed reason.

Ganduje’s Chief of Staff joins NNPP as Shekarau shuns move to resolve Kano APC crisis
Drama as Kwankwaso’s team heads to Shekarau’s house after Ganduje’s departure
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje had visited Shekarau Friday night to forestall the defection after which both of them were summoned to Abuja, but Shekarau shunned the meeting after he reportedly gathered that it was not the presidency that called the peace parley.

But on Sunday, Kwankwaso, also a former governor of the state, arrived at the Mudunbawa Kano home of Shekarau, alongside other bigwigs of NNPP to conclude on the defection plan said to be scheduled for official announcement on Monday.

Sources in Shekarau’s camp told Daily Trust that the defection is almost a done deal as all the associates of the former governor in all the 44 local government have agreed to move to the NNPP.

PDp will lose if they mistakenly give their ticket to Atiku.. he will lose, what happened this week ended is political career.

He is the only Pdp aspirant that can give Apc problems at the forthcoming election, but now he is no more.. Apc will win 2023 election with whomever they field, Pdp has no strong candidate apart from Atiku, but he just lost it...

Politics / Re: 2023 Presidency: Atiku Divides PDP Governors by Richardonald(m): 6:16pm On May 07
kelly72:
Peter Obi is the best PDP aspirant going into the 2023 presidential primaries. But if PDP really wants to be sworn in in 2023, they must sacrifice Obi in favour of Atiku Abubakar, that is pragmatism over idealism.

APC is not fielding Buhari again and nobody in that party can boast of Buhari's popularity in the North, so they are praying and fasting that PDP doesn't choose Atiku. They know that in the absence of Buhari on the ballot, the North is a clean sweep for Atiku, so also SE and SS.
Remember again that APC personified themselves as failure for 8 years.

Obi is 61 and needs a little more time to make more political in-road into the North. Being VP between 2023 and 2027 can get the North well attuned to his brand of politics as they stand to benefit even more from his contributions to economic policy.

oga you Sabi politics no be lie....

That's what gave osinbajo edge over the rest Apc aspirant, Obi need to go for vp before aspiring to rule this country
Politics / Re: POLITICS2023 Presidency: Reject VP Slot – Ohanaeze Charges Peter Obi, Others by Richardonald(m): 6:49pm On May 04
Let's tell ourselves the truth, the only way an igbo man can become president is that if both parties zone thier ticket to the South East...both Pdp and Apc don't want to lose, unless both party agree on zoning their tickets to the East.. No igbo man can win presidency at this period of ethnic crisis, marginalisation.. I support Obi, but the problem is how many votes will he have, S-east,S-south votes combine not up to N-west votes..

And another problem igbos have is that they are not serious when it's come to political issue, na only business Dem Sabi, na Dem full Facebook, Twitter, dey talk who go become president on Twitter... Igbo man fit travel for Easter or Christmas, but no fit travel go vote, and dey claim make Dem give Dem president.. gringrin

Politics / 2023 Presidency: Group Wants Buratai To Join Race, Vows To Purchase N100m APC Ti by Richardonald(m): 10:09am On Apr 24
Political Support and Economic Advocacy Group, Fusion 774, has called on the former Chief of Army Staff and Nigerian Ambassador to the Benin Republic, Amb. Tukur Buratai to join the 2023 presidential race.

This is just as the group vowed to purchase the #100million APC Presidental form for the retired Army General.
National Coordinator of Fussion774, Mr Sediq Jikta, made the call at a news conference on Friday in Abuja noting that the call by the members of the group was borne out of the security challenges facing the country, saying the threats posed to the nation’s national security had been of immense concern.
Jikta said the 23 years of Nigeria’s democratic experiment had witnessed different threats to its survival such as civil disturbances which required experienced hands to pilot its affairs.
He said Nigeria is currently in very challenging times and it is important to decide on the right leadership, a leadership with the capacity and ability to deliver and make the country work.
The coordinator said the achievement of Buratai as service chief in the fight against insurgency was a pointer to his sterling quality and qualification to vie for the highest office in the land.

He disclosed that time of Amb. Buratai as COAS was the height of Boko-haram activities, adding that his astute leadership saw the reclaiming of overran territories from the terrorists.

Jikta also hinged the call by the group on the many achievements of Buratai in repositioning the Nigerian army for greater efficiency among other things.
According to him, experts believe that the security challenges of the future are not going to be external aggression as countries will have to contend with internal security.

His words, “During his time as COAS, he brought to an end the rampant spate of bombing in the country, hence, Nigerians could enjoy a peaceful atmosphere to carry out their daily businesses.

“Gen. Buratai also exhibited an open door policy of good governance, where private citizens with something to offer in terms of security are given a listening ear and action taken.
“With these achievements, we can see that Buratai is one courageous leader who could step in and bring the much-needed solution to the security challenge and the desired development for the country.
“We are using this opportunity to call on Buratai to come out and declare interest and contest for the office of the President of the federal republic of Nigeria.

“By this announcement, we are prepared to purchase the APC nomination form for him in the event that he declares his acceptance and readiness to contest,” he said.
Jikta said that Fusion774 was simply the unification of political strength of the 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria into a virile, strong and formidable political front.
He said the group was mainly driven by people from all works of life, for the interest of all, and for the common good of the country.
The coordinator said that while the group agreed with the policy of rotational governance for all regions to have a sense of belonging and participation in the governance of the country, they believed that merit should be promoted in times of national catastrophe.

According to him, the group reached a consensus that rotational governance should be suspended for a candidate with the requisite capacity to provide solutions to national security threats to emerge.

The only candidates PDP can field that can defeat any APC candidate are Atiku or Obi...

Those northern consensus candidates saraki and bala, they are not relevant, even if APC field sekherau(bokoharam)grin he will still floor those two consensus candidate....

The candidates APC can field that can floor PDP on election day is PYO,but mostly northerners see him as a small boy, when it come to politics..but if they want to divide SS and SE votes then they should field amaechi, with a strong northerner that can gather atleast 40% of northern votes.
