May we not use these words in life. Where we have fun stories to tell about very successful friends while poverty cuddles us. delzbaba: |
His PRs and Image managers have drawn out a plan to reintroduce a new narrative of him. To sell him as generous, nice, hardworking Male who is only unfortunate and maligned by hateful people. Wow wow wow! "Good publicity is preferable to bad, but from a bottom-line perspective, bad publicity is sometimes better than no publicity at all. Controversy, in short, sells." - Donald J. Trump (The Art of the Deal) Richdad |
Never applaud a man without values and convictions, anyone as unstable as water. People who hold alliance with the tip of a finger. Richdad |
Every other past leader both military and civilian except Buhari has given an account of its stewardship by writing a book detailing every decisions and nail biting maneuvers in the cause of running the government. Long after they left office, they attended leadership schools, public service institutes, gave lectures and symposiums, seminars, and contributions. Only Buhari never did. He went locked down except during elections where he contested. He never read and never wrote. He was rusting, yet like an archeological finding, we excavated a fading memory and dusted a dying cognitive tissue to become a PRESIDENT. You see! Nigeria's problem is not the question of the elite vs the masses but an interpolation of both. Richdad |
A confused government. They are looking to recover all the money secretly spent during the last elections. Richdad |
God will continue to protect every hardworking man and woman. For your sake, learn to listen and communicate to the Holyspirit before embarking on anything. He knows all thing even those traps set by your enemies to ensnare you. Until late before now, I could not comprehend the workings (daily applications) of the Holyspirit even though I understood his position and relevance. "For what person knows the thoughts and motives of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So also no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the [Holy] Spirit who is from God, so that we may know and understand the [wonderful] things freely given to us by God." 1 Corinthians 2:11-12 Richdad |
If he stole, the present government would have shouted it out to all. He didn't steal. NdiaraIGBO: |
Wow wow wow! Pocohantas, the confused feminist known only within the borders of a forum. A rust and useful idiot. pocohantas: |
Why it's so hard to get things right in the country has left me totally confused. What rocket science is required to put forth a blueprint of infrastructure development and enforcement of its details. Why in a modern time will containers be transported often through roads. Some useful idiots below will yet another day defend this madness. Sad! Richdad |
Tolu Ogulesi is a useful idiot and an accursed slave. Richdad |
A man or woman with a tattoo is a quiet lion/lioness. It takes a whole lot of self hate and mental rejection to subject ones body to mutilation. If they can do it to themselves, you wouldn't be an exception to violence. Richdad |
One of the brightest minds to ever grace this generation. With very few errors, he layed his imprints on the sands of Nigeria's time. With a resume second to few, fearless and outspoken, has garnered respect and accolades in the international community. I sometimes wonder how nonexistents abuse this impeccable man on this forum. Shame! Bemigho Reno Omokri, was born on January 22, 1974 to Helen Bemigho a civil servant and Justice Jean Omokri a justice of the Nigerian Court of Appeals. He is a Nigerian Lawyer, called to Bar in the year 2000. He studied for his LL.M in the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdoms. Reno Omokri served as the Vice President, Africa, at Joe Trippi and Associates, a U.S Political Consulting firm. Reno is the host of a Christian teaching TV, Transformations With Reno Omokri, broadcast on San Francisco's KTLN. He is the author of the books, Shunpiking: No Shortcuts to God, and Why Jesus Wept. Until May 29, 2015, Reno Omokri was the Special Assistant on New Media to former President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria. When he was the Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno was popular for using social media to conduct surveys and project the developments undertaken by the Nigerian Government. He founded the multi-media project, Build Up Nigeria, with which he has produced a series of short films in the United States. Reno Omokri is a pastor of the Mind of Christ Christian Center in California and Abuja. He is a regular writer of articles for major newspapers. When late Umaru Musa Yar’adua was evacuated from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia on November 23, 2003, for an health emergency, Reno Omokri was one of the signatories of a letter by a group of eminent Nigerians (G 57) that called for the resignation of the former President. In the year 2011, he led some Nigerians in Diaspora to endorse President Goodluck Jonathan for the 2011 elections. It was Reno Omokri who represented the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, at a national conference on ‘Inter-Faith Dialogue and the Quest for National Security in Nigeria', a program organized by the Interfaith Activities and Partnership for Peace, IFAPP. While speaking on behalf of the President, Omokri urged Christian and Muslim leaders to focus on Jesus as the common Denominator between their two faiths. He however caused a stir when he stated on camera that The Quran mentions Jesus by name 25 times and even five times more than it (The Quran) mentions Mohammed. He also argued that almost every prophet in Judaism and Christianity is accepted in Islam. Presently, Omokri is the host of 'Transformations With Reno Omokri', a Christian teaching program which is broadcast to 23 million homes in the United States of America across cable outlets that including, Comcast (KTLN Chanel 25, Sundays at 12am) DISH Network (Impact Network, Chanel 268, Thursdays at 10pm) and Roku. The program which lasts 30 minutes on weekly telecast is produced by the Mind of Christ Christian Center in California. Richdad |
This is weighty and a condemnation of a faulty system. It is no news the suppression of religious minorities in the North. It is deep rooted. Northern Nigeria have an identity problem. A problem pased on to them by their founding fathers telling them in specifics the superiority of their tribe and religion above all others. I understand when a parent wants to beat out the inferiorities in his/her child especially when they identify severe disparities when compared with others. They often take it too far. That I understand and have clearly observed why their founding fathers sold the idea of superiority to them. They knew they fell short when put by side with their southern counterparts. No offense...no apologies. Richdad |
You're Up Late In Your Empty Home You're Surrounded But You're All Alone Every Night, You Lie Awake In Bed Thinkin' Of What You Should've Done Instead Put Your Faith In Your Heart Let It Lead You From The Start You Will Always Find Your Way Now If We Could Only Let Love... Let Love Guide Us Home Let Love Guide Us... We Were Young When We Found Love Didn't Know What The World Was Made Of When The Lights Went Out, We Were All Alone Forced To Figure Out Life On Our Own Put Your Faith In Your Heart Let It Lead You From The Start You Will Always Find Your Way Now If We Could Only Let Love... Let Love Guide Us Home Let Love Guide Us... |
Jonathan gave them UNILAG but they refused however, accepted a dilapidated Stadium with little relevance. Hate is bad. Richdad |
The soft porn I have seen on Nairaland far outweighs the adverts on torrent sites. These politicians don't care about you. They are only fighting for their stomach. Richdad |

Only a Fulani can crack the ribs of a fellow supporter of APC. Richdad |
You are giving it to him and you have nothing left for yourself. How sad! Young men who would follow and defend a man who knows nothing about them. tayebest: |
Shehu Sani will go down in history as a man who follows his conscience and convictions but El rufai even in grave will be remembered as a deadly, dangerous, and evil person. A sectional bigot. Only in the North will his praises be sung but to obtain that national appeal will never come. In life, when you are young, you can afford to burn bridges and destroy relationships because you feel you do not need people. That's probably because of the energy and fire we have as youths and the believe we can achieve anything with hard work. However, as you grow older, you begin to realize how lonely it becomes with age and that relationship is vital each passing day. If you must burn, burn only the bridges you will never need in life and if you must end a relationship, end only the ones you will never wish to return. If you must break hearts, break only those that you will never fantasize about in the future and if you must destroy, destroy those who will never hunt you in time. Richdad |
Never refer to me as 'you guys'. You can say that your little peers. Dalby: |
All elective positions have been occupied but the Igbo tribe have found themselves empty without a single position in the helm of affairs. Wow! A massive blow but never a setback for a tribe that is known for doggedness, digging deep in troubled times only to rise above ashes. Anytime in history where the Igbo tribe seemed to have been grossly maligned, marginalized, and mocked, they have, as individuals, and collectively as a people, become richer, expand businesses, and proved beyond measure an adage that they are survivalist. No tribe in Nigeria would have survived a war fought on all its soil (not part) for 3 full years, nor any had lived through the depression of having all their wealth (pre-war) confiscated only to be given 20pounds after. No one! Nevertheless, they grew from the shadows of destruction, closed all IDPs, and sank the shame of defeat. Like a broken man without a deferred spirit, they became prosperous even more than the lands that never saw war. What an astonishing feat. History will never forget. For the record, I am not igbo but I have never seen a people who have lived without the imprint governance for generations. Richdad |
