Since I saw this picture,my mind has been running wild on how we can turn into what we called waste in this country into wealth.

It is high time I stopped Baba Ahmed from wasting this plantain waste on the farm and we start generating foreign exchange from it.

Our plantain farm alone can generate hundred of thousand of dollars,not to talk of other thousands of plantain farms around.

Unfortunately as a nation and as an individual we are blind to those kind of opportunities that can easily generate good revenue for us.

If we focus on this plantain value chain as a nation,this might add some tens/hundred of millions of dollars to our reserve but the question is who will?.....May God open our eyes to see these wealth creating opportunities agriculture present and the ability to explore through.

Is it that there is no market for it or the profit dont just add up. Where can one market it or source for sure buyers. I need a thorough research before Investing in it, and also where can the seeds be bought from? thanks

The market is really large and wide.

And also enough chance to make it as a constant supplyer to top restaurants in lekki or ikoyi if the need be.

Dont really know if a good farm hand can be sourced from nairaland here to occupy this project on my absence due to tight shedules.

I got friends that owns foreign guest house and some exotic bars to rap up the day.

And to get them supplied with some spinach and lettuce will really be a good choice on my part.

A friend of mine laughs it out because am kind of been too lazy to invest on farms this days,

although i got other 3rd party farms i sponsor in the north,

hoping to bring it down here south.

will be taking up space close to ikorodu and investing #2.6 million on this for a start wont be a bad idea neither.

An expert hand will be needed to achieve this.

Trying to shift attention to some sought of other business since the nigerian government are kind of swindling us and are never steady on their words.

How i wish i where old enough like been 67yrs,

i would have gone trying my hands on politics,

but i think am okay with this farm system of exotic vegetables

lekki area deals on millions of naira and the real truth is that those guys spend money recklessly and still live large.

those big mans area will be a good place to run this biz there,

one transaction charges you charge them can even turn you to a land owner in rural areas like Ogun state

Although one of my friend adviced we hit it hard and open several branches in different locations

dont know if #12m will be enough to cover up just 5 locations for the start.

When business is all glooming we can then invest more

Believe me i have been really planning on opening a pos service one of this days as a side hustle and employ someone there to manage it for me.
