TrueSenator: At least you have displayed a modicum of integrity in admitting GEJ's corruption and lack of saving for the rainy day is the primary reason we are all suffering today. Now solutions like you say - No Easy way out. I think we have to look at other countrys - China hit rock bottom in 1980, India in 1991. What did they do? These are Giant nations with the same complexities and similarities as Nigeria. So they serve as a good template. Chinese allowed foreign investments and deregulation from around 1980. Nigeria cannot attract enough foreign investment bc Investors are worried about the security environment of their investments. BH hurt our reputation. NDA is not helping Nigeria. So in my eyes Nigeria must deal with security- then look to attract FDI. There is no secret formula to growing economy. Reduce corruption. Reduce regulation. Increase security. Increase investments - in agriculture, infrastructure, etc. But with NDA and other groups the Naira will have to flow to the Ministry of Defence as opposed to Ministry of works 1 Like |

Izontubo: "Meticulously and tactfully handle Niger Delta?" I agree PMB has not done enough in ND. One area I agree he mismanaged. BC he was concentrating on Boko Haram and recovering looted funds. BUt bombing pipeline will sadly have to be met with force. I hate to admit this but this is what will happen. Tompolo Bombing leaves PMB with no choice now. After all the bombings we will all start from square zero. |

TrueSenator: Jonathan that you claim led our economy to become the "largest and the greatest?" Buktus! Jonathan merely had a high Oil price slush cash accruing. He had NO say in oil prices. Likewise PMB is battling the effects of Low Oil price that he had no hand in. This is NIgeria's opportunity to move away from the curse of oil. Our peoples suffering today lies SQUARELY on Jonathan. He did not SAVE anything for the rainy day. How can he? When Stealing is Not Corruption in his eyes 1 Like |

rozayx5: Put me in penury? This is NOT about me. So if everything gets shut down as you seem to gloat about then who suffers the most? Ordinary Nigerians is the answer especially Nigerians in Bayelsa and lower Delta communites . Before PMB go suffer ehn Hell go freeze over |

DropShot: Why are you wasting your time with people that do not care about facts? Fact - Jonathan despite years of $100 oil saved nothing for rainy day. Fact - Jonathan and his Diezani and his corrupt cartel blew everything and borrowing to pay salaries in Feb and March 2015. Opinion - Let them blow pipeline dey go - let us see who will suffer more. Bayelsa and Lower Delta will suffer the most. Nigeria has other resources. Plenty Land for example. Not so for Lower Delta Let us see who will outlast the end of oil. The polluted oil swamps of Bayelsa southern Delta go feel the pain pass 5 Likes |

omonnakoda: This one is angling to take Igbo properties ( and other tribes properties) in Lagos and other areas by other means lol. I have news for you even if Igbos leave naija the properties will still belong to Igbos. The properties were purchased from their sweat and hustle so keep dreaming. NOT gifted. Yoruba sold land used the proceeds to do Owambe. Now you complaining? If you want the property return the market value money 1 Like |

Young bucks with little sense. Who is your sponsor? IS he clean? The thieving politicians stole your money and you blowing pipelines? Capital and Investments will soon flee and your region will be poorer. Now what then? 10 times harder to woo them back Again the thieving politicians stole the money. PMB is NOT corrupt. I feel very bad for the locals that are stuck when the companies and investments leave |

MrAdetunjiBayo: DO not mind the cone heads. Wetin concern them with Eastern affairs?? Please tell me what is the difference between Ogbaru town (Igbos) in Anambra and the same people Ogbaru (Igbos) in Rivers?? Or the Ogbaru ( Igbo) in Delta State. Absolutely nothing. They are the same people on both banks on the Lower Niger River. Some live in Asaba and work in Onitsha. Aba and Portharcourt nko? Some Yoruba people specialize in Pork nosing into others business. Trying their divide and rule strategy is such a waste. Lower Niger River is well inside Igbo homeland if una like die. The issue is NDA and the military, but yet the cone heads cant help themselves but convert the discussion into Igbo this or that? COne heads please stay in Ekiti and learn to stay on topic and also mind your own business. 1 Like |

kodded: Look at the State of Nigeria - NO oil refineries, No Electricity infrastructure, NO Hospitals, No Schools on and on and what do you think that happened to the hundreds of billions of Dollars that Nigeria earned? Former government officials became overnight millionaires. Is that a hint to you? Again former government officials became overnight millionaires. You see they all need to explain how they got "their" money - which is really our money that they stole. If nothing the circumstantial evidence is damning. These individuals must vomit or yams so that we can rebuild our infrastructure and take care of people. This is how you reposition Nigeria for generations unborn |

RandomVic: Vladimir Putin DID NOT "dialogue" with Chechen militants. He decimated them with Long Range weaponry. You are day dreaming here. These guys destroying their own swamp how does that really affect say Niger State? Others look for ways and energy to develop land and you encouraging and advocating destruction and war? Look at Syria. The ND will be worse off after all said and done - death and pollution and cannot attract investments |

kcnwaigbo: Nigeria is moving away from Oil and ND will be worse off for it. Think Strategically. Best years for oil are behind. Saudi Arabia going broke too. Every other region has good land except swampy polluted ND. The philosophy is develop the land. Not destroying your land |
Politics / Re: Buhari To Military: Crush Niger-Delta Avengers by RickyTan: 11:32am On May 08, 2016 |
These militants are seeking to make noise so they can negotiate? To get free beer parlour and hotel money? Oya blow the oil pipeline de go. Your swamps are already unattractive and polluted and yet you polluting more? future generations will be proud of you for your contribution to their own poverty. My advice to FG and Chevron is to NOt repair blown pipelines and let these lazy fools continue to pollute and degrade their homeland. One day una go frustrate Chevron and others and the pack go their peaceful developed lands while ND swamps go de more broke, more sick bc of pollution. |
