#UPDATE ON UNILORIN ADMISSION

The school registrar professor E.D Obafemi is being interviewed on unilorinfm radio 89.3.
He said the school can't resume unless the second batch is released.He also said the NUC has approved to the school to admit more 2000 students to the given quota.Now the school will admit 9800+. According to the senate meeting they had today the second list will be released soon.

This is a direct message from the senate commitee unilorin:
Second batch university of ilorin admission list willinclude those with less than 50 percent and willbe out next week wednesday.
If you had 40% and above and did well in your jamb, be expecting an alert by wednesday 21st of october next week.


The news is from our course rep.. Its like d list is really going to be out next week.

To all d stallites..That 'not in gud standing' something has been removed on our portal..Portal updating is going on in progress.

In a queue, if u are supposed to be at d back but came to d front, dat is shunting. For example, if u are at d back in a queue and d queue is too long but u have a friend that is in d front, u will go and stay in ur friend's side so dat u will be quickly attended to..Dat is shunting..Note: We use to have so many long queue in unilorin ooo, so go and learn shunting..lol

Laffz..Unilorin is supposed to be beta by stress and not beta by far..Dere is notin that u will want to do and u wont queue.. If u want to withdraw money, u will queue, if u want to go to school or go back home u will queue, if u want to do ur freshers registration u will queue, if u want to write test or exam u will queue e.t.c.. I will advice u to learn how to shunt bcuz it will help u alot.

Laffz..They've not finished admitting students not to talk of clearance..Clearance use to take time also (It took more than a month last year). I cant even say when we will resume now bcuz it will take some days for pple to upload their documents and it will also take some weeks for clearance (They are going to clear 9800 pple )..I hope they will rush tinz.

Cuz i learnt waec result expires after 5 years... i.e after 5 years no school will take the result again

It is just a rumour. There are pple in my department dat have finished secondary school for more than 5 years and they used their SSCE result last year.

I would like to enquire about the uniformity of the 'Good Standing' from the diverse variations of faculties on this forum.
Has any staylite here recieved 'Good Standing' status on his/her portal?

Am not sure weda stayllites have started receiving " good standing" on their portals..That " not in good standing" is still on my portal and my studentship status is RETURNING.

If u are sure that u haven't used d card u have for more than three times, u can use it..But if u have used it for more than three times before, u should buy another one. The maximum amount of time u can use the scratch card is 5 times. After uploading the result, u will use d scratch card once and Unilorin will also use it once..So if u have not used d scratch card more than three times before, u can still use it.

U are expected to upload ur Jamb and Waec result and ur certificate of origin if u are from Kwara State. U will have to buy Jamb nd Waec scratch card and upload d pin and serial numbers in spaces available for pin and serial number of the scratch cards. As for the certificate of origin, it is only Kwara state indigenes that are going to upload their certificate of origin. If u are from Kwara state, u will scan ur certificate of origin and upload it in the space required for it.

The Jamb list is for only those that have gotten admission.

I cant get ur question..Are u talking of freshers registration? If it's freshers registration, gce certificate of statement of result will not be asked.

U dont need JAMB registration slip. U only need ur jamb result.

U don't need Jamb slip for clearance. U don't even need it for registration. U can just print it if u like to print it but its of no use for ur clearance or registration..The main function of Jamb slip is for u to knw d time and day of ur exam and also the venue of d exam.

U can get JAMB e-facility card at any nearest jamb office. U can also get d e-facility card at any cafe (Those cafe owners use to buy it in bulk from jamb office). U can use it to print ur original JAMB slip and upload d pin and serial number afterwards..The maximum number of times u can use the scratch card is 5 times, Unilorin will only use d scratch card once out of the 5 times and u are going to use it once also. U can use the scratch card for d remaining 3 times available for anything u like (Maybe for printing JAMB result, JAMB slip e.t.c) but i will advice u to use d scratch card for d remaining three times after u have been cleared.

I am not sure about the Jamb cards, but I think e-facility will do it.

You don't have to print anything, all they need is the Card details(pin and serial number). You'll print when you commence registration with your Level Adviser( don't bother your head with this for now)

Testimonial is not same as statement of result.. The former does not show details of your grades while the latter does..

** When you buy the cards, Use them Once, to be sure they are genuine and okay before uploading else, you'll be told to re upload ir even buy another. The school will only use it once too.. That makes it 2/5.. Believe me, you don't wanna waste time waiting to be cleared a second time cuz you didn't do things right..

It's been 3 years since I last did this but I believe the info I just gave you is over 95% accurate. Goodluck

Unilorin alert is just as if u've won millions of dollar..Lolz..Aspirants are too many, they dont knw d method that they re goin to use to admit pple..Only prayer can do it (Prayer 70%, Connection 20% and ur result 10%).

U can use any of the two type of jamb scratch card..The reason y u can use any of dem is bcuz both of them can be used to check jamb result..But if want to print ur admission letter, u can only use e-facility card.

U knw u re goin to upload some documents after paying acceptance fee (O-level result, jamb result nd certificate of origin if u re from Kwara State). Getting cleared means they have confirmed that u've uploaded d documents and they don't have any problem any of them..U wont be able to start ur registration until after been cleared..U may be moved to another department if they have any problem with d result u uploaded (E.g those subjects u wrote in jamb does not match ur course, ur waec or neco result do not comprise of all d O-level subjects needed for ur course, e.t.c..).

I will advice u to go to Ilorin after u have been cleared. U wont be able to do any registration until u have been cleared..Dont be frustrated if u are not cleared quickly, pple to be cleared are many so u may not be cleared quickly.
