Reuters has corrected a report claiming that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) proposed putting Gaza civilians in "camps."

The GHF told Reuters this was false prior to publication, but the esteemed news agency reported it anyway.

The issue with this kind of reporting is that by the time the retraction is published, it's too late. The false report has already fueled more hatred for Israel and support for Hamas.

As the GHF said in a statement:

"This isn’t journalism. It’s agenda-driven clickbait, propped up by bad-faith sources and designed to stir controversy, not uncover truth."
