I may be wrong but here are my few points.

1. No matter how weak SIM may be, for the fact that he has never accused Tinubu even once may mean Tinubu was not the one fighting him and he has eulogize the president on few occasions

2. No matter how the state of Emergency may be, it technically affects Wike more than it affects SIM, the president didn't declare SOE when SIM was having the upper hand, but a week after supreme court gave Wike powers and the impeachment process started, there was SOE that will give SIM another lifeline

3. The news about the Nwaeke speaking under duress in Abuja shows that everything wasn't going according to Wikes plan and the state has not been captured by him.

4. Knowing Wike, he hasn't said anything about the SOE, this is not like him cos he would have invited media houses and talk about how SIM was defeated, but for the fact that he didn't talk about it means this didn't go according to how he planned.

5. If you read in-between lines from messages that comes from SIM and the ones that comes from Wikes camp, SIM has never said anything bad about president Tinubu while the Wikes camp has always been talking about how SIM didn't vote for Tinubu and the recent one was that he ordered the blowing of pipelines to destroy the Tinubu economics reforms, if Wike had Tinubu by his side, they wouldn't be saying all these
