If Mahmood Yakubu refused to declare Tinubu winner after having all the figures in 2023 according to the power the constitution confirmed on him, it's very likely that Tinubu will not be the president today. The PDP and LP supporters drama prior to formal declaration was to stop that final declaration because it's the most important aspect of the electoral process.

Imagine Yakubu refused to declare Tinubu winner of that election citing pressure from presidency/Buhari and Tinubu decided to declare himself the winner after few days, you already know what would have happened.

Nwosu refused to do the most important aspect of the assignment and many people still think it was deliberate.



Now you are talking. This is why Nwosu only deserved verbal recognition and one minute silence and nothing more.

What you mentioned in the first paragraph is exactly what happened to Abiola .He was equally more foolish than Humphrey Nwosu by going to announce himself president under Abacha and paid dearly with his life for his foolishness. If not for Nwosu announcement the only thing Abiola would have been remembered for today is being a man that committed treasonable felony and deservedly died for it

If Nwosu had obeyed his boss IBB instructions and not released any results of that election by now nobody would ever mention Abiola won because if you do you are committing treason already. IBB could have comfortably announced tofa his fellow northerner as president and handed over power to him if not for what Nwosu did by announcing 2/3 of 26 states which showed Nigerians Abiola won those states

No conspiracy theories here as US attorneys are like prosecutors and so do not bank any secret information another person wants.
