You're not wrong, but let's be brutally honest the East can't afford to crawl when it should be sprinting. Enugu, sitting on coal and gas, should already be an energy giant, not just a state with potentials.

The governor may be competent, but competence isn’t enough. The East needs radical, aggressive development—real transformation, not just gradual progress.

The era of slow reforms and safe governance is over. Leapfrogging development isn’t a suggestion; it’s a necessity. If the leadership doesn’t drive this with urgency, then it’s failing the region, no matter how “good” it looks on paper.

While most south east cities are strategically located, the 2 most strategically located are Enugu and Aba, the enugu should take advantage of its closeness to Abuja. Just 3 hours if there was a direct route.


Just read about the achievements of Dr M.I Okpara for the few years he was in power. Any south east governor that is not on that pace doesn't deserve relection.
