At the start of last season, we did agree the lower placed teams won't participate in this season's FA Cup. Ibime's deleted team finished close to the bottom so denying his team entry IS constitutional, contrary to all the grammar he was blowing up there.

That being said, I'm happy common sense prevailed and he got the codes to make the cup more competitive(though I'll still qualify for the play-offs in December as usual cheesy). Don't want to be competing exclusively with no-hopers like Lalaboi, El Guapo, Duduspace etc.

Oya Mukina2, the champ is here! #fuckwithmeyouknowigotit cool

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by ritchboy(m): 10:00pm On Jan 10, 2014
Ibime: You said Cech saves 87.5% of shots on goal and that equates to 2.3 saves per match.

That's how you interpreted Optas chart and used it to claim you are too high level for a dunce like me. Of course, I'm the one with the Maths degrees, but on NL, you are high level and am a dunce.

So if 87.5% = 2.3,

1% = 0.026

Remember now, if Cech saves 87.5% of shots on goal, then he concedes the other 12.5%

Hence 12.5% = 0.33

ie 0.33 goals are conceded per game.

Now if you have any IQ at all, you should look at the 87.5% and the 2.3 goals and figure just by sight that means we are conceding less than 0.5 goals per game by your interpretation. It is at this point your high level brain should have told you that interpretation is wrong

If you take your 0.33 goals per game and gross up to 20 league games, thats 7 goals conceded.

I'm sure we've conceded close to 20 without even looking at league table.
The rest were own goals grin grin grin

dayokanu: Its funny. I mean seriously funny someone can say with a clear mind that Cleverley and Carrick are better than Ramires, Lampard, Mikel, Luiz
It's only funny to those with sub-zero IQ. United played Chelsea in August, no? Carrick was arguably the best midfielder in the league last season, the only midfielder to make the PFA team of the year. Carrick's technique has always been on point since his Tottenham days and poos on Chelsea's mechanical midfielders comfortably, ditto Cleverley. Ramires, Mikel, Luiz + geriatric Lampard and Essien, those ones na midfielders?

I'm actually talking about technique and not overall ability. I'm sure clueless folk like Dayokanu were scratching their heads wondering how Benfica managed to completely play Chelsea off the park three games in a row(even with ten men) despite Chelsea being the better team. Peruse the term again, "technical superiority".
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by ritchboy(m): 7:21pm On Jan 08, 2014
I never said Carrick and Cleverley are world beaters. The #fakt they're technically superior to Chelsea's midfielders only highlights what I've been saying since August: Chelsea's midfield is pants. You see, I'm consistent! cheesy
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by ritchboy(m): 4:09pm On Jan 08, 2014
dayokanu: This season for example how many teams has Mourinho faced or how many teams would he face that are technically superior to his Chelsea.
Yet he has lined up defensive a lot. E.g His line up vs Man Utd in Old trafford or would you say Moyes Man Utd is technically superior to this Chelsea

The few times he tried attacking it failed miserably and like the coward he is, He went back to his normal defensive pattern
Carrick/Cleverley is technically superior to Chelsea's midfield(Mikel/Ramires/Lampard/Essien).
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by ritchboy(m): 9:01am On Jan 08, 2014
Mourinho only plays defensive football aginst teams that are technically superior to his(and/or away from home), most mangers do this. Of course Guardiola has never had to resort to counter-attacking football cos he's never faced a technically superior side than his Barca/Bayern teams, the jury's still out on him!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by ritchboy(m): 4:37pm On Jan 07, 2014
dayokanu: The daftness being displayed here deserves an award.

Fifa uefa and German laws states that a player can negotiate and sign a contract 6 months to the end of his current deal. So what's the big deal?

Ballack agreed to join Chelsea 6 months before his bayern contact elapsed like every free agent but we didn't see this much holy anger.

So when you're a contractor you wait for your contract to expire before negotiating another one?
I actually don't think Bayern did anything "wrong". I think the problem most people have is the league will become a formality. Every championship needs at least two teams with comparable chances of winning.

Dortmund have themselves to blame for putting a release clause in Götze's contract and not renewing Lewy's when they could about two years ago.

sleekdot: Where did Chelsea buy Cashley from if not closest rival?

Where did Chelsea buy Torres from if not closest rival?

Where did Man Utd buy rvp from? The captain of a rival

Where did city buy Nasri Adebayor clichy Tevez etc from

Maybe you were blind deaf and dumb when Madrid bought Figo from Barca

Or when Milan bought Inzaghi from Juve. Pirlo has moved from inter to ac milan now at juve.

Go check the club Vieri, Baggio Pirlo Seedorf played for
Nonsense. Arsenal were miles off Chelsea when Cashley moved, ditto RvP. Liverpool weren't even in the UCL when Torres left. Is that your definition of a close rival? City didn't sign Tevez from United, Guffanti.

Nobody is saying rival teams have never traded players, but for it to happen twice in 9 months, involving the very best players and announced in the middle of the season? That's just plain ridiculous.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by ritchboy(m): 11:34pm On Jan 04, 2014
sleekdot: Supporters of the club who bought Torres cahill cashley

Or ask these lab reetards where their club got Rooney Carrick Ashley young, rvp, berbatov arteta cantona Rio etc from
Apples/oranges, non of these players were bought from their close(st) rivals.

United refused to sell Rooney to Chelsea(close rivals for the league), Liverpool refused to sell Suarez to Arsenal(closest rival for top-four) etc.

No matter how you try to spin it, signing your closest rivals two best players in less than a year reflects poorly on the league. Imagine Barcelona signing Ronaldo and Bale or Man Utd signing Aguero and Silva.

The worst part is both deals were anounced in the middle of the season. In the words of Didier Drogba "It's a phucking disgrace!"[arm gesture]. grin grin

Of course Porto were fortunate to only face one top club in the entire knockout phase. They were also fortunate with the refereeing.

Now those desecrated sanctuaries...

All the "JM gats spend plentiful to succeed" yarnings nor get footing cos Mourinho's greatest success came at Inter where greenbacks nor dey nyanfu nyanfu.
Nonsense... Which grounds were desecrated? Porto's UCL win is a classic example of "luck of the draw", United were the only decent side they faced and they needed help from the officials to progress.

Inter spent shitloads of money when JM was there...

Bendtner is obviously quicker than Giroud. He's actually quicker than most people realize.

Bottom line is we're probably going to need a higher quality striker to win things. In hindsight, we shoulda paid the extra 10-15m Liverpool wanted for Suarez.

Whoever provided the intel that 40M+1 would trigger a release clause should be hung upside-down by his toe nails!
