Okay I've broken down the key points that pretty much sums up how wrong the OP is in this matter.

Well obviously because our colonial master thought the north would be the most competent in handling this country in the future. Which they were wrong, look at the state of the north, the least developed and the most impoverished, why does the OP assume this is even debatable, the north are dying because God is not blessing that region and they greatly rely on the south.
Okay that's great, they've ruled the country most of the first independence years, but it's still COUNTING. I don't see the north making an impact anytime sooner

One other point is how come Nigeria is socially and politically split between the north and south even with the large diversity in ethnic group.
Easy answer, the predominant religious faction in that region. A Muslim north and a Christian south. I would pick the south any day just for that, God forbid I live in a sharia region anytime soon. Let boko haram deal with their north.

The other points heavily contradict themselves and the OP centralize it.

The bonus point has been simplified, because the most important reason why it was necessary to bring the capital to Abuja from lagos, was to even the regional field, sure it's closer to the north but as well as the igbo east.

The regional north is simply impoverished, it can't get more complicated than that. No northerner can compete with anyone from the south, since they don't value education or developing their infastructure.

You focus too much on public sectors, that's the problem with you OP.
Practicing group economics is the MOST important, control in wealth and marketing is the specialty in the south, that's the south's advantage and the north disadvantage.
People can create policies with their wealth and market influence without having to work in a public sector.

Look at Mr aliko dangote, he doesn't have to work in the public sector to become the richest man in Africa. He is a northerner that made economic strength a weapon to influence policies brought up by the Government.

Seriously, are northerners even in control of their own region, This OP de forget what boko haram is doing to the northerner's pride, with a backward mentality, an unstable social construct and a slow development in their cities.

igbos may act that way, but northerners also act certain ways that the rest don't like and yoruba may act a way that the rest don't like.
I don't see a civil war happening again over tribal tension, :/ disputes between culture but nothing more.
