lamby: How do you identify the cars with minor damages since the pictures are not really closed-up to see extend of damages?
So I will ask if you can advise buying of hail damaged vehicles as I am sceptical.

That will depend on the extent of damage/s around the car. Also, there's more to the eyes, as seeing is believing. Copart doesn't put up any hidden images. When a damage is minor, it's on a line of a few dent to scratches.

Dear Sir, Lot# 22485643 - 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA/S/. This is a car worth ~N2.5-N3m. Don't look at the preliminary price tag to value a car on Copart, it doesn't matter what price you see there. What matters is the virtual sale prices, and this only happens on the day of the sale.

That been said, $8000 is a lot of money worth ~N1.3m (and you want this to buy a 2009 Corolla/s, inclusive of towing fees, shipping, clearing and our commission fees)? - sorry, no, this wouldn't work out.

Let's go backwards....a simple reverse. (This is a rough estimate NOT actual)
4- Clearing that car in Nigeria goes around N600k or more (~$3700-$4000)
3- Towing fees depends on the distance to the port - $200-$500
2- Our commission of $800
1- Ocean freight from US to Nigeria - $1000

sub total = $6000-$6300. ($8000 budget - $6000/$6300 = $1700/2000).

Now, what this means is that you want to buy a 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA/S/ for $2000/N326,000. (Very Impossible)
