3) mon-fri be consistent. The big banks surprise retail traders alot.

There is no much difference on whether you do your chart analysis on laptop/PC or phone..
Though Mt4 and Mt5 are nothing compare to tradingview when trying to do chart analysis on phone. Tradingview is sleek and so super cool on both laptop and phone too

Any idea to bypass or unlock tradingview premium plan for free yet? Una wey dey use and post tradingview chart analysis for FTA, how Una dey take do am, how Una they pay to use am or renew Una plan? They even made it difficult for two persons to use same account login at the same time. It won't work...I guess I will have to pay subscription from my tight pocket regularly onwards

Two things to the bolded.

1. Chose brokers with the priority of very low or zero commission. OR

2. ONLY trade pairs of almost zero commision OR

3. Switch your trading style to swing trading and go for a zero swap fee account or broker.

I can do quick mental calculations for gold, indices, xxxusd pairs and know how much I'm risking per trade entry and even do broker commission fee join self...Let's say, I open 1 lot size on eurousd...
the market then moves by 10pips against me
Normally, the risk amount will be $100+($6 commission fee for using 1lot), then I will lose a total of $106 off my account. And if I'm making 1 lot size re-entries consecutively while getting stopped out each time ...I will be accurring a huge or lesser commission fee off my balance too, regardless of whether I lose or win these trades.

there was a day I entered the market earlier as I didn't wait for price to reach the low-risk area that will pique my interest for a sell...
I kept on selling, selling and getting stopped out all over again...till eventually my last stubborn sell move gave me $94.

this now brought the accumulated commission fees to a total of $60 which was deducted; thus, leaving me with -$34 and still in loss.
one funniest thing was during my sell/stopped out looping madness, I saw some few profit each time and if I were a scalper I will just take and run...buh no, as a daytrader I kept holding out for a few 3-4R target, and guess what;
when I pannicked to close at $94 profit, then price fell drastically like a cascading landslide.

Now, i m very conscious of how much that will be deducted as commission fee off my winning or lossing position. risk and position size awareness should be the duo layer that shapen a part of our trading psychology too.

Have you heard of ICT’s TGIF Setup? 🤯

TGIF stands for “thank god it’s friday.” it is a model specific to friday, where we look to execute a counter-trend trade opposite of the weekly range/trend.

you only want to look for TGIF on pairs that had an extremely clear trending week in one direction. after a clear trending week, once our htf objective has been met, we are expecting a retracement back into the weekly range to complete the weekly candle.

in a Bullish TGIF, we need a trending ohlc bearish weekly candle. our trade opportunity lies within the range created from the “low” to the “close” of the weekly candle.

in a Bearish TGIF, we need a trending olhc bullish weekly candle. our trade opportunity lies within the range created from the “high” to the “close” of the weekly candle.

a good rule of thumb is to look for price to retrace 20-30% of the weekly range.

a personal favorite is to trade TGIF after a sweep of thursday’s high/low

simple criteria:
- Clear trending weekly range✅
- Expansion through thursday✅
- HTF Objective met✅
