popizaino: In most francophone west African countries rent is usually on a monthly basis and not annually.some Ghanaian landlords too demand you to pay monthly .
Naa bro. In Accra, you pay for 2 years at once to rent.
Kenya is also on the radar of high net worth investors from Europe and USA led by British buyers who represent 63 per cent of foreigners seeking properties in the country.

“The country (Kenya) as a whole is among the top five most popular second home locations for Africa’s wealthiest,” says the report released recently.
rvp2018: At least these guys - sat down - designed the car and went ahead to manufacture them. Innoson and Kantanka - just go to China- bring complete cars - and pretend to be manufacturing - and evade paying taxes - and try to hoodwink their countries - to buy cheap clones.
rvp2018: Some guy in Laikipia has built his own car manufacturing plant. Again this proper car manufacture. Not importing chinese clones and rebadging it.
Humble beginning - even first Mobius looked.
Wtf is this? You are a good comedian, pursuit a profession in that.
Shma: Dual road is not an achievement. I wanted you to watch that video and tell me if there is any road in West Africa that can stand that road back up your feedback with a video.
Bro, dual carriageway is an achievement, and part of infrastructural developments, if you doubt me, ask the Europeans or Chinese or even American, or our brothers, South Africa building dual carriageway, because they know the importance of it. Watch this video, although I couldn't get a better video to prove you wrong about your claim, this is Senegal road, and I don't think you will find this kind of road in East Africa.
The tori wen dey ground be say one hobbitant, just dey blow lamba give this men from the east,na him I wan make you bare witness say all this things way him dey talk dey happen for this way true, true ?

68816419: Forget about the highways, even their inter cities roads aint dualized, every states in Nigeria are dualizing their roads, Maiduguri is dualizing 16 roads, Kaduna state is dualizing 22 roads in Kafancha, 23 in zaria and 34 in Kaduna capital.
Shma: Nearly all highways found in cities and big towns in Kenya are dualized. even a town like kakamega has dual highway.
I don't understand where you're getting this narrative that "we-east Africans don't dualize highways".
As far as we believe in two way roads, we've also seen cases where safety standards have been compromised and that's when dualling can take shape to counter such risks.
For instance, the salgaa section in Mombasa -Malaba highway have been dualized due to increased cases of accidents.
Fair enough then, the only dual highways I have seen from East Africa, and Kenya precisely.
rvp2018: It doesn't take long for kenya to fix road. That road is know super smooth. This not Nigeria. I tell you in Kenya the roads with potholes are countable in one hand. WE DO NOT HAVE ROADS WITH CRATERS like Nigeria.
This is the upgraded Sh7 billion Mwatate-Taveta (A23) road at the Coast.
It is part of the multinational Arusha-Holili/Taveta-Voi road corridor. It has opened up trade links between Kenya and Tanzania.
Man, I'm talking about dual carriage highways, not a single track highways.
rvp2018: - learn to build and MAINTAIN roads. Kenya road maintenance budget is 1.5B dollars. And here is Nigeria planning to spend 100M to maintain road in a country so large.
Nigeria plans $100mln investment for federal road maintenance in 2021. (Ecofin Agency) - Nigeria plans in its 2021 draft budget to invest N38 billion (about $100 million) for the maintenance of federal roads
jln115: as I said.........If it makes you sleep at night
FYI SA is a developed country and Nigeria is a sh1thole
That's what makes you very dumb, and delude. You are never going to be a developed country, rather you will get worst in years to come. You are still classified as a Sh1thole, no amount of self delusions will change that.
Kenya cannot invest on dual carriageway where two or three cars can be traced passing. For instance, on the isiolo - moyale road, why should we separate the road yet safety measures is not compromised?
Major roads and highways in Kenya are the one dualized so as to maintain safety standards (resulted by massive traffic flow and risks of accident occurrence.)
Two way road is just enough to enhance safety on minor roads.
Man, not only that highway, and it doesn't matter the number of cars that use that road, every major highway in Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda is single track road, like in Nigeria, every highways are dualized, both inner city roads are being dualized, but that's not the case in Kenya.
