There is something confusing to me and yet it has not been answered ?
Where is the co-pilot or main pilot of the Alpha jet.
Bro, we have single seater Alpha jets, and twin seater Alpha jets, so I guess he was on the single seater jet.

I no wan dey reply your mention again, but let me show you how dull you are and why a dull thing like you do not deserve a reply from me.

The Taliban was established in 1994, while the USSR agreed to pull out her troops from Afghanistan in 1988 and all Soviet Union soldiers were out of Afghanistan by 1989.

So what year did the Russians and Talibans engaged themselves in Afghanistan and can you list out the names of some of this battles and where they took place in Afghanistan? ; grin
Oga just stick to your fake news and Sahara reporters posting, that's your specialty.

When did the Russian military engaged the talibans?
See how ignorant you are, yet you always claim to know things.
Russian/Soviet union were the first to invade Afghanistan, to fight the Taliban, but they lost woefully, before American/NATO came, and 20 years later, they still lost, and pulling out of the country.
Asymmetric warfare is the hardest war any country would wish to have.

This is exactly why it's perfect for Nigeria.

Remember we got our own advanced Jets late. So by the time the JF-17 must have been fully inducted, this aircraft would have achieved maturity.
Do you think we can afford this aircraft, maintenance and operational costs?

But What change will this Super Tucano bring in this terrain. What are the advantages over the normal jets NAF have been using in this combat.
They will not see it, or hear it coming like Alpha jets or Mi 35 helicopters, before it takes them out.
It's a silent and precision killing machine.
No hiding places for the enemies.

The Talibans have more access to finance, where they can train and operate from etc.

Ethiopian couldn't defeat the Tigrayan army, see as people dey downgrade the Ethiopian army, Nigeria is also struggling against terrorists in her backyard for more than 10 years, but una go wail if them talk say the Nigerian army is incompetent.

Some people don dey wail about looting in SA, while bandits and Fulani heardsmen are busy raising down villages and killing people here in Nigeria.

For more than a week now, the DSS said they have found weapons in Sunday Igboho house, still yet, they haven't charge him to court... Nigeria is one of the few countries this kind of yama yama fit happen grin

Well sha, anyhow sha. The Talibans can't survive for up to a week in any US territory. ISIS can't survive for a week in any part of America.

Only in failing countries do terrorists hold sway. ISWAP spread to Borno south in our eyes, and even killed Shekarau, but una dey tell me for here say dey are defeated... It seems some of you here are comedians, a terrorist group that is defeated shouldn't be able to expand their territory grin

The Nigerien and chandian militart are not as powerful as the Nigerian military, what is stopping ISWAP to capture Niamey or N'Djamina? Even Somalia that is a yama yama country, the terrorists there do not currently have the capability to attack and take over the country capital... But una want make we dey dance for here because ISWAP is not in Abuja grin
And so what is stopping ISWAP from capturing Maiduguri, Abuja, and Lagos?
I have told you before that you don't have sense, your cries, and bitterness, and wails will soon consume you, it's always a thing of joy to me and others when you cry of pains and bitterness, we survives with it, keep crying for us always.
Now keep posting your fake news, and Sahara reporters, and getting humiliated like the one you received the last time.

Whyem15:
These past few weeks have been relatively calm, just a few cowardly attacks on small bases and probing attacks on large bases.
Coupled with the fact that ISWAP's propaganda has been filled with lots of lies, unrelated incidents and attacks on abandoned bases. They even claimed the recent road accident involving NA as their success. Compare with the number, and intensity of attacks between January and early may. We all know the number of times marte, damask and dikwa were attacked within very short periods.
This lull has been on since mid may so Its most likely not due to the attack on JAS.
Is it the raining season or are they planning something big or there strength has been significantly reduced?
Coupled with the fact that we now see lots of child soldiers in their ranks.
One would have expected the capture of JAS to have significantly boosted their strengths but maybe JAS didn't have much before the conflict or maybe many were lost during the conflict with ISWAP.
Even the rate of ambush attacks that should normally be high during raining seasons has reduced to much less than during the dry season same as IED attacks.
It could be a lot of things but I pray that it is the good ones.

Check Tomasz's thread from the beginning of the year and compare.
Bro, both ISWAP and JAS has been weakened by this year offensive from the military, they have been a lot of air interdiction from the Naf recently, and I think that has somewhere weakened ISWAP, anyways, let be watching.

To get American rifles, we need to engage in deals. We could get them in the black market, but not in surplus quantities. We just started prioritizing deals very much recently. Majority of our Army hardware, were acquired from the black market.
Personally, i don't like American rifles. If i were to purchase a rifle of western origin, I'll go for German rifles. Heckler & koch comes to mind.
American rifle have only two modes, small calibers, expensive to maintain (than Eastern rifes) and its more vulnerable to harsh environments
I agree, but this administration procurement has been deals, no middle man, or black market deals, that's why the National security chairman has always been sidelined whenever it comes for weapon procurements, because he wanted to buy from the black market.

SuperSixSeven:
This rifle is a AK100 in 7.62×39mm. The Russians use AK74 variants in 5.45×39mm. Generally speaking most countries in the aAmericas, Europe and Asia use smaller caliber for many good reasons. The reason why we use the 7.62×39mm is that they are billions of surplus ammo left in east european army depots that are sold for pennies to armies world wide. One of the reasons why we never started the production of such kind of ammo.

A complete overhaul of our inventory is a must in this decade (although i dont see the funds for that anywhere) and maybe we change caliber and switch to more modern carabine rifles.
I agree the Aks are more cheaper, and easy to maintain, and doesn't jam much, compare to Trevor, but I think we should diversified.
Although I saw pictures of SBS waxing the American M16A rifles.

This is the Aks the Russian soldiers use.
But why Nigeria military don't make use of the American rifles, like the M16a rifles?

Or design one for Nigeria military: different shape, weight, fit for the African theatre, and manufactured indigenously or commissioned abroad. In any case, we ought eventually to issue Nigeria military helmets uniquely Nigerian instead of utilitarianley plumbing for generic helmets off the international market shelf.
I thought proforce manufactures ballistic helmets for the military?

It's a case of giving a dog a bad name to hang it. Nigeria security rogues are known for lies and cheap blackmail.

Well, Biafran volunteer forces are intensifying their training within and outside various training camps in Nigeria. This Nigeria must be brought to an end, even if it requires blood. Those missiles we've mass produced will be brought to the fire.

I'm happy that the average Yoruba person is being radicalized by the injustices of the Fulani.

In months from now, this Nigeria will experience its worst nightmare.

That they arrested the blessed Nnamd Kanu does nothing to stopping Biafra. If anything, it has made our fighters more determined, aggressive, and radicalized. The most important figures in our struggle are the sector commanders and the volunteer soldiers. These are the ones who will carry out the mayhem. Kanu can only talk, he isn't capable of using bombs and guns. Bombs most especially will ring out loud this time.

From intelligence reports I'm receiving, bombs would be the major weapons, not really guns. Una go soon hear the scores. So, when you start hearing bombs ringing out loud in your Airports, oil tank farms and strategic economic infrastructures, you know shit is real. I will soon deactivate anyways, before military intelligence asks Nairaland for my info. And I know nairaland will give my info out. Well, I used fake emails, and you can't even find me , as I'm in Southern Cameroon.

And for the politicians planning for 2023 elections, there will be no elections. If things go accordingly, Somalia of today will be better than Nigeria. Buhari did alot to get us angry.

Lastly, I heard Dangote owns a refinery. Can it be bombed, we will see. The oil assets of the fulani oligarchies will be given enough attention. Fulani bastards with no drop of oil on their soil, but own oil assets, the people with oil on their land can only dream of.
