after you've been cleared and had paid school fee. . . Ui don't know if there are spaces left to apply for . . .that's why i want to do my physical clearance early to be eligible to apply before others. . .the earlier the better,already done online clearance,expecting tommorrow as my clearance date.

yes,the medical hostel available is for 400level and above(not sure)medical and dental students.



The Newest hostel,which is NDDc hostel is biult for medical and dental students starting from 100level . .but the school management want to make money out of it,so they allowed final year students of other department to have access to apply for it,the application even started(unofficially) last semester.

physical science girls better na,life science girls are the finnest especially Microbiology,that department is cursed with pretty girls . . .engineering girls(always short and ugly,like 85% of them),engineering no even dey get girls sef,last year out of 120+ students in elect/elect,just 4gals,same with mech,enginnering guys been coming to 500LT(where life science and physical science receive lectures) to scope babe,na God go save una

only hall2 and hall3 are used for temporary accomodation,for the previous years ,boys will stay in hall2 while girls in hall3,then when school resaumes fully and ppl have been given hostel spaces,girls will now occupy hall1,2 and half of hall5,then boys hall3,4 and half of hall5

but this year is quite diff or maybr they will soon change them,my guys in school are staying in hall3 and girls in hall2,don't know what's wrong with UNIBEN,

For most federal universities,the cut-off ranges between 68-74 in aggregate.Same for state universities tho it can be lower for some state universities

yes,the essence of the physical clearance is to be given "eligibilty" . .that's what you'll need to apply for the hostel,and alslo you'll need your school fee payment receipt,and you can only pay school fee after your online status has changed from "clearance requested" to "cleared".

record file is 3K,you'll pay in first bank(pray say you no see queue). Then you'll take the teller to bursary department few metres from the auditorium,then you will be issued a receipt.
After you've been cleared and given eligibility,show your clearance officer the receipt and you will be given 6record files,you will then go and fill it(it looks simple and easy to fill it but trust me,it ain't,but not that it's that hard sha),you'll bring it back the next day for signing by your clearance officer.
After signing,photocopy all your files including your eligibility(this thing is just a paper but it's like a gold,you'l need it for many things ,so keep the original well) and your waec/neco result print out and put them in the record files.

Submit 3 record files at the admission office,1 at your faculty,1 at your department and keep 1(the 1 with your original documents) with you.


About the hostel,pay "hostel application fee" of #1K at unity bank,then #500 "SUG fee" at UBA abi na oceanic . . . Then photocopy the tellers and stapple the 2 photocopies with your eligibility(photocopy also) and your school fee online payment printout ,then go to student affairs to submit. . . When your name is out on any of the hostels,you'll go and pay 8K fee"

Yeah finally found a thread like dis am a science student but didnt do biology at o'level and jamb and want to go for medicine.
I see myself as not too intelligent and decided to go for electrical am now a 100lvl student but still want to do medicine. I have intention to write anoda o'level including biology and write jamb again.
Wat is jamb cutoff for medicine, and wat school can i choose dat wont suffer me in admission pursuit. Do u advice me to continue with my electrical or forget everytin and start again with medicine.

please,focus on your engineering and forget about medicine, . . same advice i'll give my bro. . .you only like medicine cos you feel they are respected,if not i don't see any reason why you shouldn't "LOVE" biology in your sec.school,after writing jamb you didn't change,now you've gained admission that other ppl are dying 4,u now want to go for med . .abeg guy rest,no vex

I cant even understand why pple are rushing medicine and surg so much even more than dentistry. I just checked UNIBEN jamb aspirant for medicine and they were 12,000+ while dentistry were 450+.

Wait oo,this 1 that you will do clearance before your date,is your scheduled clearance based on your surname's alphabet or your swiftness to register for the clearance

pls,to all medical students on this forum,your views and opinions are highly needed on this issue..There's this new medical school situated at ondo state named ondo state university of medical sciences which is currently admitting students into bsc programs in Anatomy,physiology and biochem.BDS and MBBS..I've just applied for mbbs and also contemplating on taking jamb form .But,the problem here is the issue of accreditation o by MDCN which we all know is more stringent. considering the fact the that I'm already a student of the university of benin but still passionate of the medical profession and not being ignorant of what non accreditation could result to,I hereby seek the advice of you guys because I'm confused right now..thanks in anticipation!!
