You're looking at it from one perspective. The American soldier's side of the story and you expect people to go "Awwww....touching!"

What about the story of the people on the opposing side? The Iraqis / Afghanistans / unfortunate civilians caught in the middle? Those that have lost family members leaving behind widows, orphans, and utterly destitute relatives with no hope of surviving?

You give us pictures of an American soldier getting the best health care and physio therapy. What about the others? Do they too not have a story to tell?


Wat u sed is totally true and on point but stil try and see d gud side of d pictures/story....not every average gal wud stay stick with a quadruple amputee.Dier luv story is sumtin dat sud be applauded and appreciated;let's not use personal opinions and personal views on past and present events to spoil a gud and true luv story.

If u've worked in a corporate organization b4, u'd know all d cloak and dagger myth people spread about secrets are mostly lies. Information on Training School resumption dates,core banking soft-wares, promotion and posting etc don't qualify as "secrets" and i don't see what use they are to competitors seeing as it doesn't have any direct bearing on operations. Moreover if these were secrets, employees would be made to sign confidentiality agreements protecting them like they do for really important stuff.

In fact discussing salaries as prohibited as people make them out to be are only inappropriate if you ask interviewers too early and I have witnessed an occasion where a candidate for experienced hire was sent packing @ a panel interview cos he didn't know the salary scale for the level he applied for.

If you find the info irritating, pls stay off the thread, there some to whom it means life and death and they need it to make informed decision on their next step.

D real problem is most pipo use the TS hopeful(e.g Enugu TS hopeful,etc)without rily undastanding wat it means.By bin a TS hopeful,it means DB reserves d rite to post u to any of dier training skools dey deem fit so even if u had ur recruitment process in Enugu,DB might decide to send u to ABJ for training...so I tink Royal purple sud be applauded for his post cos it gives a near accurate timeframe for wen training skools in session wud be done and gives an idea as to wen new TS invites wud start rolling in for TS hopefuls.

Whether db needs pple in d north or not,if there's public holiday the day/week they're supposed to start TS,it'll surely affect resumption date cos they won't work on those days and it's not jst Abj,it's nationwide. Which is y I simply said ts "may" not start dt day but I guess u didn't see d "may". I don't blame u anyways,waiting can cause pple to take out their frustrations on other pple. I wrote my aptitude test sumtym in april and did ma oral interview and medicals in May all in Owerri so I guess am an Owerri TS hopeful shei?Plz Plz Plz am in diire need of information cos d wait is killing and tiring.

@Obax....dress code black or grey suit wit a white or blue shirt,any colour of tie wud serve. D most important asset u nid on dat day is confidence. I can't categorically tell u so so and so is what dey wud ask u for no two interviews r ever d same but u wud def be asked to tel dem about ursef;it cud be framed in different ways but d central idea is to tel dem about U.And plz make sure everytin on ur cv is true cos dey wud go thru it bit by bit and draw up questions from wat dey c on ur cv.
Jus for pointers,lemme share sum of d tins I was asked during mine....afta I was asked to talk about masef,dey now asked me why I wanted to work in a bank since I have a degree in Engineering.I was also asked to state Newton's first and second laws of motion(so be prepared for anytin ooo).
They asked me sum questions bothering on sum of d certifications I had listed on ma cv...can't rily rememba all sha ooo,but I hope d little I sed so far wud help.In all,prepare adequately;if possible do a mock @ home and above all pray and ask God for guidance,direction and Confidence to soar....wish u luck dear.

Did d oral interview on the 7th of May dis year@ d bank's MCC road branch @ Owerri and was successful and I was subsequently sent a test to go for my Medicals which I had on d 10th of May but up till now I have not heard anytin from d bank and am kinda worried which is why I started dis thread so peeps in similar situation cud exchange news and information cos I heard from a reliable source dat d next batch of trainees for owerri training school wud commence training on the 25th of May;barely 4days from now......plz plz plz info and news wud be highly appreciated....thanks
