WhyNa: USA now accepts IELTS. Thats gud news for those applyn to schools in the US and other countries. You dnt need to worry about writing two exams. Btw, both my speaking test and odas was cool.

surveyor1: I had my Bsc in the UK, and I haven't heard of any story about checking funds at the point of entry, nigerian students just excergerate sonetimes, the only thing the visa officer can ask for is your sponsor not proof of fund. Furthermore, I knew loads of Nigeria that paid half of tuition fee and they paid the rest in UK. Although is good to have your fund but there is no harm if you pay part and show the rest in your bank account for 28days. If you check in ukba website, they allow showing the rest of the tuition and maintenance in bank account. Loads of students in the UK paid half or 70% of thier tuition fee except few creme de la creme. So don't let people excergerate when it comes to ukba, just read thier website. All the best

surveyor1: Sheffield Hallam university accepts £1000 deposit. Infact they are Offering £3000 discount for nigerians this year when u secure admission before may 2014. Just check it out.

I'm creating this thread for Nigeria Students that are not too buoyant to pay high tuition fees in UK universities.

People that are experienced in this should help us to list universities in UK that accept 1000 pounds tuition deposit for M.Sc programmes. Thanks in advance.

mrkossy: it will be difficult to see a school with low tuition in U.K and even if you do see i suggest you make inquiries very well so you wont get a bogus admission. you also have to consider the fact that you are a Msc student and you wont expect the tuition for Bsc and Msc to be the same or even close.

Yeah, just saw most tuitions are well above 10000pounds....

My first question is which good University is admitting students btw february and April nxt year. Though am still serving, will be through with my service nxt year Feb and I plan to Move ahead for my Msc instantly,,I graduated from Futa, with a second class upper in Biology. Pls guys I need you to give mee a guideline on Schools which offers Admission easily.

I read About TOEFL, will do that as soon as possible and Maybe GRE too. Statement Of account is Not really a prob as I have about 2-3m in my account.

2nd Question is Must I do TOEFL b getting admission or after?
3rd Question is how long will it take to process the student visa?
