I wanted to ignore you. But for the sake of others here. There is your proof. In the context I used it, they are one and the same thing. Sempumping:

Hmmm, as for me, I never implied reduction in salary. But trust me bro, what that News is saying has a serious bearing on this recruitment, and if you can't see that, then I don't think there is need for any further engagement beef123: |
OK bro, am not trying to argue the facts. But my concern is why the office of the AGF is continuously ordering the oil workers to enroll on the ippis, to the point of even threatening to stop their salaries siina: |
If that is the case, why is the government sending in the order for the second time. First in 2018, and another one last month. Even threatening to stop their salaries from October martinsfm: |
All NNPC staff are still civil servants of this country, and so can be included in the ippis if the the government so wishes siina: |
For those still wondering, below is the full gist. If this should escalate, then getting APL this year is unlikely. The oil sector workers on Tuesday rejected a move by the Federal Government to incorporate its workers wage into the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System. This contained in a letter by the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association to the Minister of Labour and Employment. The letter was jointly signed by Lumumba Okugbawa, PENGASSAN General Secretary and Olawale Afolabi, NUPENG General Secretary,on Tuesday.NAN reports that a Circular from theOffice of the Accountant General of the Federation dated September 7, 2018, directed the enrollment of the Oil and Gas workers on lPPIS, whichwe frowned at.This resulted in series of meetings to proffer ways to address the matter, at the end of the meetings; aTechnical Committee was set up bythe Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment to assess the Unions’ concerns regarding its implementation. It stated: “It is pertinent to state thatthis Committee is yet to meet as wewrite, unfortunately, we have been inundated again by the threat from the Office of the OAGF, via a Circular with reference number OAGF/IPPIS/93/1187, dated 29th August 2019 to stop the salaries of our members, come October 2019. “We reaffirm that we are not againstthe Government Policy regarding IPPIS, but we wish refer to the existence of Government IntegratedFinancial Management information System platform which is run by theCentral Bank of Nigeria.”According to the statement, GIFMISwas already serving a similar purpose and the Presidential initiative on Continuous Audit whose responsibility, is to audit the nominal and payroll of Agencies as recently emphasised by the Ministerof Finance. It noted that the unions have therefore directed its members in affected regulatory agencies not to provide any information concerning personnel payment and allowances to the Accountant-General’s Office for the purpose of lPPIS, until the Technical Committee meets. It added: “We are also putting all the implementing agencies of government on notice that if our salaries are stopped without clarification of the issues raised; we will be left with no other option than to withdraw our services without any further notice.” |
That is why they are strongly against it, and even threatening the government of withdrawing their services (Strike) if they get pushed to the wall. CircleOfWilis: |
The guy was referring to the current underground replacement taking place in CBN. Jarus: |
https://theeagleonline.com.ng/oil-sector-workers-reject-inclusion-in-ippis-wage-system/?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C5872777109 Serious fire on the mountain, I saw this coming though. I just hope it doesn't degenerate into something else, especially for us hopefuls. And before you start quoting me and saying different things, please try and read the news first. |
Trust me boss, it's true. But it's a very low-key something. I also sent in my cv last month per request though. And I personally know someone that has gotten in already. This is Nigeria... Jarus: |
Though there are some outliers for all the dates paid, I doubt there is any date that has not been massively paid by now. Toluv20: |
If nnpc recruitment can take place during the tenure of one of the PERCIEVED most corrupt petroleum minister in this country, and some common men were still able to get in, then someone is here saying all the slots have been sold out to the highest bidders. Just know that we are not the only ones against you, logic and reasoning are also not on your side. Yes, I may not get in, but one thing am very sure of is that, common men like me will surely get in. ✌ So brother, take your pepper and sell it somewhere else, coz we ain't buying. |
Nnpc careers portal souljar: |
scobyy2007:This can be true. Anyone directly involved with either the development, maintenance or operation of the NNPC portal can have access to that information, without necessarily being involved or aware of anything about APL. |
Or a compensation, they said everyone will be paid tfare. But the people not getting APL will get paid a second time (compensation). Shey you wan form theory, there you go... ![]() cocococo: |

I beg to differ bro, I think so many people have mentioned here several times that they actually filled in their location in addition to their account details tyakson99: |
I can now boldly say that there was no column to fill in location in addition to the account details for those that did their interview on the 3rd, 1:30 pm to be specific. Note: This is not a theory, but an already established Fact. I just hope this is not what is responsible for the delay in disbursing our tfare. |
Not really my friend, don't even know him/her. But in the words of Ranchodas Shamaldas Chanchad 'All Is Well' ![]() Cheers Bro. mvem: |
mvem:@the bolded, my assertion? Now I finally believe what some nairalanders have been saying on this thread, some people don't just process what have been said before replying. Which part of 'Someone Said' don't you understand sir. All the same, thanks for your input sir. |
Someone said NNPC is waiting for the final court verdict between Buhari and Atiku today before APL release. So according to him, we are likely to recieve APL tommorow if the judgement is in favor of Baba. P.S: The source is just an applicant like you and I giving his/her own opinion on the matter. |
This really got to my soul, so touching. Yes, we play a lot here. Yes, most of us act like we are immature (we are not). we argue, postulate theories, dissect them and sometimes even trade insults. In all this, one thing is absolute, and that is the fact that we are all stars in our own rights. I believe we all didn't make it this far by sheer luck alone, but for the fact that we are all top performers in our respective fields. APL or no APL, I believe we are all destined for great things, all we have to do is find our calling and follow it in pursuit. If it is NNPC for me, see you all at the towers, and if it's not, see you at the top of the food chain. Best of luck to everyone. Ksslib: |
Is this not the same WEEDING theory that have already been proposed here ![]() furrr: |
Some 1st of July have also received. Seems they are are paying 1st and 5th |
Yeah you are right we all interact with reality through perception, but you will agree with me that perception is relative which is evident from the last example you gave of 'agbo jedi' which some people will perceive to be sweet while others perceive the opposite. But we all know the reality of what agbo Jedi is Or don't we? Real is Real bro... BenFlash: |
Exactly. Reality is not relative, Perception of the reality is what is relative. Gbriels: |
Your last statement is actually true Bodylicious: |
