Like I said last week the list won't be out till after ministerial inauguration. I was surfing through this thread yesterday when I same across a guy stating something about GMD not on seat or so. So I reached out to a friend and applicant as well who works out of GT Bank's branch at the towers, he's in PBD. He's an account officer to the present GMD and some of the NNPC staff including HR (imagine those guys de collect loan).

Ever since Mele became GMD man went ghost mode, my G can't reach him but good thing is he knows the Secretary (imagine Mele retained his GMM secretary, loyalty pays).. She said list is with him, his approval is what's left, it'll be done when he's back (I don't know the definition of back in this context).

She also said something about successful Candidate may go through portfolio interview to determine where one will be posted.

BTW NDIC recruited about 100 staff last two weeks, solo recruitment, imagine

So if an applicant from one of the social science or physical science courses scored higher than one from a technical category say petroleum engineering or geology, albeit they both made the benchmark (there should be a general cut off mark)
So the guy geologist or engineer would be considered ahead of the other guy?
I'm saying this based on the latest "hiring more technical hands" theory

FYI, the GMD was in Maiduguri for Sallah, paid a courtesy call on the Governor on the 12th of August. Came back to Abuja same day.

Please, note that automation and control engineer job role is different from ICT job role. Though both involves programming but the former uses instrumentation and control design skills in programming. The specialist involve in plant automation is an automation and control engineer.

I don't know who is going to be the Petroleum Minister. But if is going to be Baba, he is still going to be a figure head. His State(Junior) Minister does the dirty and underground jobs as witness in the last 4 years. He gives the State Minister the power to function as if his the senior minister apart from very critical issues. Didn't you notice that NNPC and other parastatal were reporting directly to Ibe Kachukwu( former State Minister of Petroleum) instead of Baba(former Minister of Petroleum)
