Andrea, you're too much I just realized i've been going in too many directions too. Your advice was helpful to me. i hope it was too, to the guy that asked |
Thoniaslim, I think he already said that Chuddy!, your turn. |
You can do a google search to get their website. They usually post the results there. when you find your name, you can give them a call to ask what's up cheers and don't put too much hope on them. |
I love Nigerians Instead of trying to get the best, they'll console themselves with any situation. |
It's 60%. And i think your wrong answers get subtracted (though not as much as a correct answer) No need to worry, Your results will be far better than you think. |
Sorry oh! Where is Nairaland? Me i'm still in Nigeria oh |
Boy! You know what to do. |
A first class is as different from a 2-1 as much as a 2-2 is different from a 3rd class |
The truth is 'MANY HAVE' and 'MANY WILL' without knowing. Believe me when i say; SINS GETS FORGIVEN BUT THEY SOMETIMES LEAVE SCARS. And what you do when faced with financial difficulties just shows the kind of person you are. ![]() |
This is for our web developers. How do you seperate your code(PHP) from the HTML design. I mean making them independent of each other. Thanks. |
ishmael:Well, your post made me do a little research. I learnt FORTRAN (i learnt to spell it) is still used for numerical analysis. NASA stilll use fortran (F90) for processing of satellite remote sensing data. Meteorological programming is also best done in FORTRAN. Maybe because of FORTRAN's simplicity, speed with numbers, and compatibility with very old machines. Although it has a very small user base (maybe that's why someone would pay well if you know it) I guess this is a consolation to out FORTRAN users. For tutorials, just google it in or check your school's library if it was built in the 70's |
It looks like everybody is already loving it. Raymand:If it was that easy, we won't need actors and models anymore. ikamefa:Please do. |
Who is encouraging you guys with fotarn (How do you even spell it). Tell him/Her, he/She is misleading you. Unless you are studying history of programming. |
Anyone as any information on Overseas scholarship available to Nigerians for Post Graduate study? |
This should be done yearly. open to both Males and Females . Any other ideas? |
I think you should just show interest by acting nice and friendly. Let him like you then you'll all do the chasing together. If he is on nairaland, he should know by now that he is the one you are talking about. Done Already. ![]() |
naijacutee:We are blessed in this country. Please do. |
Well, I think if you want a car you can easily maintain in Nigeria, it's best if you buy from a dealer here in Nigeria that provides after sales services. if you ship an uncommon car into the country, you might also have to ship in the parts and the mechanics. |

Hey! the major problem is that Great Nigeria is still a lawless nation and some nigerians believe they can get away with anything. If there is a high probability of fraudsters being caught and punished, fraud will reduce. By the way, the success of internet scams by nigerians is sometimes due to the presence of a little greed in the victim. @Rubbermaid I think you just offended 120 Million+ Nigerians. I believe God will prove himself otherwise. |
Nigerians spoiling Nigeria with their mouth. why won't it spoil? Our leaders are not from other nations, they are from Nigeria too. We are basically all the same thing. If everybody changes in their individual tasks, you'll be suprised that things will change for good too, |
OOP with C#! what school is that? does that mean Nigerian schools are now trying to keep up? Anyway i've got a couple of them buried in some hard disk somewhere. i can send it to your email once i find them. |
i think that should be Dbanj Mode9 P Square |
Geolalisa, The best programmers are self taught and besides NIIT dont care about you but your money. Do as bossman has said. Also, i think there can be no software entrepreneurship without first knowing what goes into the development of software (ie programming). try getting a tutorial from the internet or buy an introductory book. If it still looks so strange to you, get someone to take you through briefly, cos if u are really interested u'll follow through. If all fails then you can go to NIIT, APTECH, or some other. these course providers don't help me cos i like to learn at my own pace but they may be good for you (it depends on your current status and how u learn). i've got a friend who wanted to do java certification exam and went there (NIIT) for a crash course. He left there regretting. He got a good book and prepared himself. Now he is not only certified but a good java programmer too. not every body's story is the same, so make your choice. |
thanx for the pic anyway. it gave me something to laugh about. u'll be cooler if u drop the earing. people 'll see u as irresponsible (this is nigeria) unless u're already rich (which means u know what ure doing). |
JOEY - my best |
I can assure you HP will recommend a replacement for the keyboard but i don't think i'll like to get a replacement just because of one key. |
Not really! you can use my .NET SMS library to do that. All you need is a gsm modem or alternatively connect your cell phone to your serial port and WHOLA!. send SMS to anywhere provided you have credits or free SMS. |
thanx. the faulty key is not depressed and looks just as good as the others. i dont even have to touch the button or any other before it keeps on responding. Before i remove any of the keys, i'll like to exploit all available options first cos their mechanism looks complex and i might not be able to fix it back , that is if i remove if without damaging it. finally, i'm a programmer and i need that button (']'). help! |
Car lovers! Anyone knows where i can get info on every car that was ever produced or at least by the major manufacturers. a website or otherwise. thanks all. |
I use hp laptop nx9010 and i have this problem. i left the laptop unused for about a month and when i got back to it, the ']' key presses continously. i've searched the entire internet (just kidding, maybe half of it, ) for a solution other than replacing it but haven't got a solution i could use. we Nigerians are good at managing stuffs without replacing it (think cars,roads,etc.). your help is needed urgently cos i,ve tried a few nasty ideas of mine. thanks |
