HP 1.86 GHz Dual core, 2 Gb RAM. Its prolly not as fast as it is on the console but i don't even feel it.

Nice game. I play it sometimes on the PC to unwind after lots of hours of work. Not in lagos tho.

Hey Guys, I've recently been thinking of creating a game. Not Call of Duty or Halo but something more casual
and 2D like bejeweled/Zuma or a simple side scroller. What i need right now is game art like backgrounds and sprites. I dont even have a
game idea yet. I'm not even sure where to post this but this should be a good starting point. Sooo, if you have any ideas
or the ability for game graphic art, you can let me know here. I believe some art could also bring about some game designs.
I should also say I have no commercial intentions in mind. Its just for some spare-time fun and education.

I'll advise anyone who want to make money from games in Nigeria to focus on Flash/Online games.

A few rules that might help

1) if its a something@yahoo.com email address

2) if its not in the papers or its in a very tiny space in the papers.

3) if the name of the company does not show up on google.

4) if you dont know somebody that knows somebody or has heard about somebody that works in the company.

Sounds funny, but it works.

Others dont have to get it before you know if its true or not

Get a phone number or an email address from a website or something and call
to ask them.

If all fails, still show up on test day.

Anybody knows any mobile java application i can use to send Flash SMS and how i can get it.

Flash SMS is SMS the recipient can read only once because it deletes itself once it has been read.

I'm really dissappointed that anybody would give this guy the slightest encouragement to do such a thing. Has anybody figured out a way to share your computer's internet connection with your phone so you don't have to browse on your phone through GPRS/CSD. instead it will be through bluetooth, Infra-red or USB. What do you think?

Sorry about the dissappointment but i think it is unrealistic for a lady to promise marriage in sec school and keep to it. Especially after going to the University and graduating. Shit happens. oh yeah ,2weeks ago, i had a bother with my service (celtel) so i called their so called 24hr help line, as usual im given directions to rectify the hitches(that like never yields any fruitful results) the convo ends with recomendations for manual servicing at their office. The next thing i know the dude's calling me up, saying he couldnt get me off his mind, etc.i immediately dismissed him.

That's crazy.

I find it interesting that the tip same people who treat you badly, customer-service-wise in naija, will immediately brighten up and call you "Sir" the minute you add another N100 as after the service. I have done this, on purpose, several times and it works like a charm, so much so that if I go back to the place, they clear the area and treat me specially.

I'm so glad someone replied. I was initially planning on studying in the UK but i changed my mind. I'm still about to fix a date for my test but it will be soon enough to meet the december deadlines. I think i have a lot of free time nowadays so i intend to prepare really fast. My major challenge is study materials. i heard some games and flashcards help in preparing for the verbals but i have no idea where i can get them. I'm still hoping to lay my hands on some very good stuffs.

Anybody out there located in Port Harcourt and intend to take the GRE test this year should pls holla back. I'll like to make some new friends with similar interests
