Omo, Nigeria dodged a bullet by not electing this guy as president coz he definitely would have stirred ethno-religious war that would've set this country on fire. Peter Obi is undoubtedly a religious bigot.
Yimu. Na format to get him released without a charge. Although, most Obidients have indeed been brainwashed and baptized into the personality cult of Peter Obi, which in effect strips them of their ability to think rationally and fries their brain cells. To be an Obidient is to become a zombie. Maybe now his fellow zombidients would stop denying him.
I'm glad a mainstream newspaper like Punch is reporting this coz those hypocrites from the SE have been painting a mischievous picture to the public that Agberos are a Lagos phenomenon, when in fact they're worse off in their region. Lagos Agberos don't even harass you coz their activities are limited to the parks, but you see those Onitsha, Aba, and SE agberos eh, they're hoodlums, thieves, and touts all rolled into one.
The suspended National Publicity Secretary of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, Jare Ajayi, has disclosed the group never gave him and the suspended National Organising Secretary, Abagun Omololu, a chance to react to the allegations levelled against them by the leaders of the group.
In his response, on Tuesday, Ajayi decried the action taken by the group, adding that it failed to stand by its ethos and regulations.
“I, and to the best of my knowledge, Abagun Kole Omololu, the National Organising Secretary, were never issued a query let alone be asked to face any disciplinary committee. It is a big pity that an organization founded on principles and that is guided by ethos and regulations could take seeming disciplinary actions against any member – not to talk of officials – without giving them an opportunity to respond to whatever allegations the leaders have against them.”
He linked his suspension to two recent occassions he had issued press statements which some senior members of the group did not agree with, Vanguard reports.
He mentioned the two releases to include naira cash scarcity affecting the nation and a congratulatory message to the President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
“In the heat of the sufferings being experienced by Nigerians in accessing their monies in the banks, I called on the federal government and the Central Bank of Nigeria to extend the deadline for the circulation of both the old and the new Naira notes by at least three months. This was early in February before the pronouncement by the Supreme Court. A top officer of Afenifere called me to say that what I asked the government to do was not the position of the organization. I asked him what the position was, the senior officer told me that the position will be stated after a meeting that was being contemplated. I said that people were suffering hence the statement I issued. And thereafter, the position of the organization on the issue was never made known to me.
“The second occasion was when some members called me to express their displeasure over the statement issued to congratulate the President-elect, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, after his electoral victory. Those who called me said that since Mr. Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar were still contesting Asiwaju’s victory, it was wrong to congratulate him,.” he said.
The PUNCH reports that the duo were suspended indefinitely over alleged misconduct.
According to the communique issued at the end of the Afenifere meeting held at the residence of the leader of the group, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, at Isanya Ogbo Ogun State on Tuesday, the group “observed the uncouth activities and unauthorised statements in its name and to the constant denigration of the organisation, by Jare Ajayi, the National Publicity Secretary and Abagun Kole Omololu the National Organising Committee.”
Poppycock. Shove your phantom 'southern unity' up your arse, Op. Yorubas already know that you people will wail against Tinubu's administration for the next 8-yrs and we're ready for y'all. Fire-for-fire, hatred-for-hatred, fake news-for-fake news, gbas-for-gbos, you better recognize. Yoruba-igbo relations will only deteriorate further from hereon, for atleast the next 8-years. We no send una papa.

seunmsg: They lie, spread fake news, issue security threat and curse everybody. Once they are caught lying, they shift the blame to the opposite. They never take responsibility for anything. This is the hallmark of the Peter Obi movement.
Exactly. They're using classic Josef Goebbels tactics.
The ipob terrorists are about to repeat the MNK endsars playbook (where Nnmadi Kanu instructed his followers to burn down Lagos and it's infrastructure while specifically warning against them doing same in his region). If Una think say we go allow Una this time around, y'all got another thing coming.
Lagos and the wider SW is a no-go area for you people. If protest dey hungry you, go to Iboland and Abuja. You try shit this time again, you will live to regret it. You have been warned.
OkutaNla: Smh. Thank God Nigeria dodged a bullet by not electing this guy. He's a repackaged fraud. His handlers did everything (by hook and by crook) to sell a damaged good as chasis to us. But like the attached screenshot below, thank God his prayer was answered.
I'm now convinced that Ibos had a dangerous agenda that God does not want to allow to come to pass in Nigeria, hence Obi's failure. Because their desperation is just too much.
Op stop spreading lies. We South East people are not affected by the CBN policy. Everyone here has new and crisp notes. We are no longer use old notes.
Lemao. I'm sure he had to make that confession after witnessng the sorry sight at his TBS grand finale rally. Smh. Na so Peter Obi throw GRV under the bus with this admission about Lagos state's administration. #Fact: Sanwo-Olu (and Jagaban) no get competition. Neither the photographer nor that GRV boy hoping to ride on Peter Obi's supposed popularity stand any chance.
Enjoy drone aerial view of the Obidient Lagos rally.
LegendHero: Even Atiku campaign for Lagos wey I think say small still pass this one.
The person wey do this aerial video do Obiidiots strong thing.
Na overconfidence kee dem. If to say na basketball court dem use for the rally, e for make sense. But alas, they believed too much in their own social media hype, so they went for TBS, only to end up exposing themselves.
