The boy is an idiot. He is yet to know that ibos have a deep-seated hatred and envy for Yorubas. He is trying to please them by sacrificing his Yoruba brethren like other idiots and weak minded buffoons such as falz. Did he not watch Ahmadu Bello's interview where he aptly described the basic ibo character? Fulanis and ibos are the two most clannish tribes in Nigeria. You should not hate them but you should deal with them cautiously. A case in point is chinua Achebe who always laughed with Soyinka but envied him till death. I read his book There Was A Country and was grossly disappointed with the crass and gratuitous envy.

A group, the Concerned Northern Forum (CNF) has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his “well-deserved victory ” and rallied support for him, insisting that Tinubu needed a peaceful Nigeria to operate as nobody or group of persons has a monopoly of violence

CNF pleaded with the President to elect to work on national unity and peaceful coexistence, saying he should support the North to produce the Governor of the Central Bank (CBN) while the position of Secretary of the Government of the Federation (SGF) should go to the South, after 8 years of being occupied by each region.

Aliyu Muhammadu Sanni, Chairman of the Concerned Northern Forum, in a statement, stated thus:”The Concerned Northern Forum congratulate the President-Elect, Alh Bola Ahmed Asiwaju Tinubu on his well-deserved victory and simultaneously will use the same opportunity to warn those fanning the embers of hate to desist from any such act that will cause disunity in the country as Nigeria is not a Banana Republic.”

“Since the election has been held and the winner declared, therefore all those that are not satisfied with the outcome should seek redress in court or embrace the spirit of sportsmanship and congratulate the president-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

‘We are equally calling on the President-elect to be magnanimous and try to unite the country into one whole family, he should ensure there is a uniform distribution of political appointments to well-deserving individuals from all regions of the country.”

Anambra woman repatriated from Delta for constituting nuisance by begging on the streets of Asaba

Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Hon Ify Obinabo, has cautioned a woman repatriated by the Delta State Government, for begging, to desist forthwith or face law.

A press release issued on Friday, April 7, 2023, by the media aide to the Commissioner, Chidimma Ikeanyionwu, said the the 32-year-old mother of one identified as Ogochukwu Nwabude, was sent back to Anambra State for constituting nuisance by begging on the streets of Asaba.

According to the release, the woman who hails from Nnewi, was caught begging at Interbua roundabout in Asaba.

In her reaction, Mrs. Obinabo, who did not spare the repatriated beggar, frowned at the act but encouraged her to be an agent of change by engaging in a trade in order to fend for herself and her child.

The Commissioner went further to empower her with a little token to help her start up a business of her choice but warned that if caught again, she will be taken to court and face the law.

On her part, the repatriated woman said that she only engaged in the act for two weeks before she was captured by the Delta State Government and repatriated to Anambra.

She promised not to engage in such and pledged to make good use of the empowerment.

She was later handed over to the Uruagu Woman leader in Nnewi, who will be monitoring her progress and as well report back to the ministry.
