Exactly. I don't see why he put in Chukwueze in the middle when he should have subbed of Simon. At least Mikel has midfield presence and would stabilize the midfield. Rorh got that change wrong, hope he's taking notes sha.

i believe he left Simon in the game because of the energy he brought to the game and maybe the great support he gave awaziem going back and forth.

Joebie:
What do u like about our style of play?

our passing game have greatly improved and there is also discipline in this team. No be all this our slow type of football wey them know us with....our main challenge now is creating chances to score.

Joebie:
You can have world class players and still be disorganized

o yes! But have there not been a great improvement in the team style of play?

kushercain:
Who else noticed the moment Iwobi was subbed off, the midfield fell apart for the last 15 minutes of the game.

i was expecting another quick change after the coach subbed off iwobi. I was thinking man will bring in Mikel and sub off Simon so that Chukwueze can play in his normal position....he ended up featuring onuachu.

If ebuehi returns he should make the right back his own while Aina takes the lb position. And really commend mazarri for the good work he has done on aina's development. The Bobo Don ripe finally for men's football. I also commend leganes for turning omeruo to a beast!

ebuehi will have to contend with Jamilu Collins.

Joebie:
So we have to put age into consideration when determining how organized a team is. OK

we don't possess world class players.

Abusule007:
If this is how we'll be playing 1-0 and win the nation's Cup, I think it's a good thing.
At the end our goal keeper would have kept clean shiit and we would have scored only 7 goals.
Quite a funny record

very funny record it will be. my brother tournament na to win games o, no be league season. We had a worst start to the 2013 nations cup tournament, but we were the eventual winners.

charlesemeka85:
From the matches I have watched so far our build up play is the best so far. Nothing like jam body football.

i am so impressed with our passing game....na to create chance score goal naim de be our problem.

This is the most organized super eagles team since 94'
Considering the vast young talented but inexperienced players that make up this team, the coaching staff so far as done a great job in keeping them together with clear and good improvement rate of every young player in the team.

I must confess we had a great game today. To play a physically fit guinea side under that intense heat and still won is uneasy.

Which kain TV be this one

Thanks for the memories Nando

Chukwueze deserves a bigger team

One chance and it's buried inside the back of the net... #TopClass

safarigirl:
BTW, look at the Cameroon female team winning tgeir game 2-1. The one goal NewZealand even got was an own goal, but Nigeria couldn't even score one.

the German team are a tougher opponent.

Nice run from pretty ajibade

Are they launching a t.v or a t.v station?

chrisooblog:
the referee in that game was a fool 4 giving that penalty against us

the referee was later banned by CAF

What happened to our beautiful first choice goalkeeper

This 'baba go slow' was coined from nairaland

I can bet my balls that this stadium, after completion won't be anything close to the prototype.

ChrisKels:

Either he has become a bricklayer or he is inspecting his building site. Out of the two possibilities I know which to believe.
