Hello fellow nairalanders,
Please I need your help with this matter..

Last two weeks I met him at a party, he wasn't that handsome/good looking, but he really knew how to dress. I kept staring his way, he managed to catch me staring at him and he just smiled. That was when I decided to move away from where he was. I swiftly moved away to a more quieter area. I brought out my ear plugs, plugged them in, switched on my phone and went to wattpad. Two different guys came by and tried to woo me out but I didn't even lift my face up as I was deeply engaged in what I was reading. Time went by and I decided to start going. As I lifted my head up, I was surprised to see the guy I was staring at earlier that day. He brought out his hand and offered me a handshake. I kindly accepted it. He introduced himself as Kelvin. I told him mine. He later told me he would like to know a little more about me. We chatted for a while and then exchanged numbers. I went home that day expecting his call but he didn't call. After a few days he called and we exchanged pleasantries. He then decided we should go out on a date.
We picked a nice restaurant to hang out and ate. He ordered two plates of food and two bottles of smirnoff Ice. That part shocked me cos he didn't even ask what I wanted, I told him I don't take alcohol. He later changed it to maltina. We talked some more but I could tell he seemed nervous. He didn't tell me any intentions of dating me. It seemed as if he just wanted us to be friends. After the date I forgot about him.
I really don't think I like him but one night after vaping cann.abis, I started thinking about him. I thought it was just the herb doing its work but I then noticed even after the high suspended I still thought about him. The next day I called him and told him we should meet up. We met and we talked and then he kissed me. I expected a gentle kiss but he kissed me hard to the point of arousal. He continued kissing and stared sliding his hands towards my hips and then proceeded upwards to my bre.ast. I noticed I was already dripping wet and my nipples were becoming hard. He removed his lips and trailed kisses down my neck while intentionally brushing his hands on my left nipple. When he tongued my ear I shivered with pleasure and then his phone rang. That really seemed to turn me off as I was embarrassed by the wetness in between my legs. I lied to him that I had to go home and didn't even heed his plea to escort me home.
Right now I am confused because he didn't say if he wanted to date me or if he was just looking for sex.
He has called me several times but I haven't been picking his calls. I talked to my closest friend and she said maybe he was releasing his frustration with the kiss but I am thinking otherwise,
I've been single for some time now and I really want a serious relationship.
Should I still go ahead and date him??

P. S mature advice only!!.

Nah. Not really.
The players,
The level of the teams,
The development,
The organization et al.
It's all improved now. It's not what was obtainable prior to this time.

The players on parade (from the big boys) are of better quality than previously. This is as a result of better organization at the top. There are more FBs in the teams (actual good players), which I daresay is beneficial to the growth of the game in Africa meantime.

I'll say something here, many don't know the ton of good this MRI is doing for the African game. Do you know how disastrous fielding overage players at cadet level is to football development? Do you know that's a big reason the African game is/was not growing? They play with kids at the cadet level then get out there and poof they're gone! They can't keep up. Hence, no continuity, no growth. Nothing. Because they're old men.

You see those under 18s/19s/21s leagues some European countries have in place? Something similar is like having feeder teams playing in lower division league football. Very very important. (Sadly, I don't know how feasible this will ever be across Africa). You need your young players playing regularly in a well structured system (like those leagues). This system of bringing players from all around the place few months before tournaments (like the Manu or Igboun boys, for example) is not the best. A good number of them are not playing serious football regularly. They can never be as good or sharp or nearly as developed football wise as those European kids playing well setup football regularly.

Recently, the system has picked up a bit. You can tell from the young African players who are making it into some good leagues and thriving. (If the trend is sustained or better still improved on we will have even more highly anticipated, interesting AFCONs on our hands and a better showing on the world stage will come gradually but surely).

So generally speaking, this AFCON, talking about the quality (which I'm keenly interested in) should be better. I hope not to see too much drab football.
i also took note of the abundance of goals scored during the qualifiers...it's rare!

Sodje raises alarm over influx of foreign coaches to Super Eagles

By Alex Monye | 08 April 2019 | 4:08 am

Former Super Eagles defender, Sam Sodje has raised the alarm over the influx of foreign coaches to the national team’s coaching crew.
He is worried that the large number of foreign coaches working with Coach Gernot Rohr is ridiculing Nigerian coaches, adding that it is denying trained and qualified local coaches the opportunity to get the necessary experience.

Sodje said he is worried that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) keeps spending money on foreign coaches without getting the desired results, stressing that the Eagles posted the worst result in its World Cup history in 2018. Nigeria, he said, was kicked out of the competition in the group stage despite the presence of foreign coaches on its bench.

On the chances of the Super Eagles in this year’s Nations Cup, the former Leeds United of England player said Nigeria would only excel in Egypt if the coach worked hard to build a formidable team.

He noted that Nigeria has what it takes to be champions of Africa owing to the young and committed players in the squad, adding, however, that the Eagles coaches must fashion out a distinct playing pattern for the team.

“I am worried that in the Super Eagles team we have about five foreign coaches working with Gernot Rohr. This is slavery.

“When Westerhof was the Eagles coach, he only had one assistant. I see no reason the Nigerian team will have more foreign assistants when there are a lot of top coaches in Nigeria who don’t have jobs.

“The NFF claims they don’t have money, but they can afford to pay these expatriate coaches with foreign currencies, while abandoning the domestic ones.

“The foreign coaches’ impact has not been felt since Rohr took charge of the team. How can Nigerian coaches grow? The foreign coaches working in Nigeria collect the money and leave the country with nothing to show for it,” he said.

The Guardian recalls that last week, the NFF appointed more foreign assistants in the Super Falcons set up ahead of the France 2019 Women World Cup.

Sodje says the influx of the foreign coaches has not given Nigeria a playing pattern.

“In modern coaching, a team must be known for a pattern. What I think the Eagles need now is to have a solid defence. A good defensive coach will solve this problem. If you have a good defence and an organised attack, your team will excel.

“Nigerian defenders played well against Egypt in the international friendly, but you will also understand that the early goal affected Egypt players’ psyche. They almost dominated the game. Looking at the current Eagles defenders, for me Leon Balogun is a good defender, but you will observe that he cannot play two straight games because he is injury prone.

“The Nations Cup is tough due to the display of power by African teams. So can he withstand the pressure.” These are qualities the coach should be looking out for in Balogun and other Super Eagles players,”
it is not a course for concern! But we don't really value our local coaches.

Go about it in a playful manner. In the middle of a conversation when he says something that thrills you, just chip in a sentence like, O!Jay I love you more each passing day. You make me happy always by your perception about life. If you were around now I would have said, what have you given me to eat? I am just loving you too much these days. Then you quickly change the topic.

You will see that after some time he will call to confirm if what you said about loving him is true? That's when you will tell him Yes in a bold letter.

Best of luck, dear.

you are 100% right! Most women that do not want to pursue a career should worry about their looks not men.

The majority of men or boys that care about their looks are either still dependent or they are students. The age normally ranges from the early to mid 20's .

Is it possible to be emotionless?
If it is, how can you achieve it?
ok OP emotion is a complex phenomenon which includes physiological, expressive behavior and subject experience based on the activity in the brain and nervous system.

I don't think you can be emotionless because emotion in it's definition is a positive or negative feeling state consisting of patterns like cognitive, physiological and behavioural reactions towards event that can either be of importance or relevance in achieving goals or motives.

With this few points of mine, I have convinced you rather than confuse you that an individual can never! I repeat never be emotionless!!!
