I don't feel wronged nor do some people feel wronged that northerners got in. The wrong is that a northerner should not get into a place with 40% and a southerner who scored 80% denied the same place, and you openly call such a system "merit-based".

It's a fact that many northerners will not be occupying seats they are occupying today if we go by true merit.

Even your reverred and highly educated Emir Sanusi Lamido said it earlier this week that the North should not think federal character will help them in the future and they should rather be ready to compete on equal level. I opine you can't be more northern than the Emir, but he chose to speak the truth while you shy away from it with appeal to emotions of if I have superior knowledge than northerners.

I bear no grudge against northerners, because I really do pity their downtrodden. Despite the privilege they have and systems like federal character being applied to favour them, they are still the ones you find doing the crudest & dirtiest of jobs even in the south. They are the ones you find littering & begging for alms in the south.

Why not champion the application of federal character to the Super Eagles and other national teams....

. No bitterness bro, intelligence is an individual thing,it doesn't check what part of the nation u are from before it comes when u seek it. Besides,someone who is intelligent wouldn't spook those he/she perceives are less intelligent. Most people who got the APL deserved it....by knowledge or by grace....if anyone didn't, they should improve...not blame the system.....it was fair..

I didn't pass through the test stage,was surprised to see the thread still on.......no matter the delay,what will be, will be...it will gladden my heart to see people receive that APL.

A 2.2 with a master's or PhD can but a 2.2 only can't.

He has no masters ....ordinarily u'd think he'd get the job since his relative is a senator judging by what country we in....but nothing cud be done....I think the process is credible.

chemical engineering graduate here, I work as a support staff with ppmc (not on their payroll). U can call me an insider depending on what ur idea of an insider is or how it suits ur fancy..but I tell u, this recruitment has been flawless from where I stand, no need to be cynical. Am not spitting words just coz I was fortunate enough to be called for the test. Have had my own fair share of disappointments from the test as my numerical excited sense saw "current affairs". But las las....na by grace....even those with connections need grace..if e wasnt for u,e won't come even if u connect pass Mtn....we all educated and should know that no one can get u into the nnpc data base if u ain't qualified. I know someone who has a senator uncle but couldn't even write the test coz he has a 2.2. Let's stay positive gees....jos boy here

Ave got a lil advice for us all, Solving maths here won't aid our numeric or analytic skills in any way....u are better in maths by the things u learn urself....moreover there won't be time enough in any exam to be solving questions with sequence and steps as though u was doing an essay. Be brief,short and sharp. Solve on ur own,there is always someone in the neighborhood to help guide u. Here,u'd just get intimidated by how some are knowledgeable on it......speed and accuracy is learnt alone. Not everyone will get the Job....buh U will get it IJN.

Nnpc is a promising place to start a career, buh anything that doesn't come ur way after u ave done ur perceived best isn't meant to be. Let's be excited about the job recruitment process and attach no hard feelings..... If u love nnpc too much they will break ur heart...but if u love God.... He will make Nnpc love U.
