Politics › Re: Lagos Govt Sued Over Ban On Eze Ndigbo Title by romeo(m): 11:13am On May 08, 2009 |
biina: FYI, a statement does not end with question mark. No matter how large a community one might have, it is rude to unilaterally seek to establish a royal heritage when you are guest in another man's domain. You must be out of your mind teaching me about question mark. You're foolish? LoL Not that i support even Oba of Lagos, i don't give a mess about them and Igbos don't have kings. But when i see stupid comments like yours i feel like contributing. Do we have any EZE of Lagos? You feel the igbos have no right to establish a "ghost kingdom" in Lagos but should be under the Oba? The title is eze ndigbo of Lagos (King of Igbos in Lagos) and not Eze of Lagos. Some people must be so dumb not to understand this. Another man's land! Another man's kingdom Blah Blah Blah and they are young NIGERIANS. |

Are they from Lagos State? Did you even ask a question? You made a statement and it was clear. freaking tribalists |

I speak many languages but i will never trade my Igbo language for anything. Like Presido said with Ilu and akpa ala okwu.
My kid is 3 years old now, I started by not giving her any English name. Her name is purely Igbo even though i am in Europe, she will grow to know where she came from apart from the Igbo i am teaching her she speaks English and Spanish
We should not allow what colonization did to our parents get to us, at a age where IT softwares are extensively being translated to many languages to preserve them is not the best time in my opinion to lose our local languages.
Imagine a scenario where a GPS gadget indicates the routes and warnings in our local Lingo!! even Oshodi bus drivers will enjoy it.
Our language is all we have today, let us preserve it. |

Best way is to shift venue to a different city and avoid attending other people's wedding unless you want them to be in your own wedding. I am not a fan of weddings, infact i don't attend. But i know close to a thousand will be at my wedding if i celebrate mine at Enugu. Some will come to count the number of wine bottles on the tables, some the kind of shoe, some the wedding gown, and some if the food was enough with enough enough meat. But they are in for a big disappointement. i am celebrating it in Conakry, My Fiance is from there and their wedding needs no fanfare or too much money and crowd. I will just go there with about 5 members of my family and i am married. |

You are getting it all wrong dear! He started the thread for reasons best known to him and IMO should defend those girls with tooth and nail when stupid posters like Ladycool comes in with "Crap Crap Crap" and "Rubbish" bad belle. Probably Ladycool doesn't understand igbo langauge but she labelled the music crap and rubbish because of her inborn hatred for good things. |

Kobojunkie: If you have not noticed, this is an open forum, and everyone is free to opine as they chose. Same way you seem willing to post your opinion on non-enugu related threads especially since you are not presently in all places. Wow freedom of speech!!!! You can continue spewing false info about my Enugu roads. ROFLMAO |
Politics › Re: Enugu Government Is Turning Enugu Into A New Generation City by romeo(m): 5:21pm On May 01, 2009 |
Kobojunkie: Actually, it is enough to make the claim I made which is based on personal and not based on what you or any other person could say. Also my last experience would be reference for when next I am in that city. It is like every time I take a trip back to Nigeria, as soon as I land at the airport, I start judging the place, not by claims you or anyone else has made but by comparing what I see in the present with what I saw when I was last there.
When next I am in Enugu, I will compare the state of the roads to the condition of the same roads when last I was there and if it is not praiseworthy, I would say it is not. I don't know how else to explain my post there to you.
You already did!! Don't opine until you visit Enugu again |
