some fools here think that knowing English language is being smart!! how many languages can you folks speak apart from English language? it's all about communication and nothing else, it's all about being understood, i don't need to speak like queen Elizabeth to prove my intelligience.

It's only little kids that attach so much importance to their English speaking ability because their sole understanding of being smart is being to able to speak English language (archaic mind set ). And such fools look down on people when they feel they are not up to their own level of spoken English, but they end up being the losers because all they do is "blow grammar" and nothing else

maybe you studied English language in school, to me that is good!! but a wasted mind is one that is still a colony of Britain and they can never see something good about their people, yes English is the official language of Nigeria by law but over 80 million Nigerians use other languages on daily basis for whatever transactions they are doing. And if i was born and bred at Enugu where 90% of the people speak Igbo language and i only see England on movies, how do you expect me to be so perfect on Queens language?

The police are truly your friends. I am not saying it to justify the acts of some bad eggs. Yes, there are some bad eggs, as in every ramification in life. But there are a lot of good policemen. On the issue of the police bundling everybody to the station. It is an issue of appearance and image. I mean, as they perceive you, so they will treat you. You don't expect to wear a face cap facing backwards and a vest on baggy jeans with a stud in one ear without a valid form of ID and they wont bundle you. Face it! you need to look responsible, talk responsible and act responsible.
Look at this scenario: You are walking down a street or driving a car and a police van is performing a raid. What is the first thing that comes out of your mouth? Once you speak pidgin english, you have already given yourself away. You could go like this: "Good day officer. How is work? Then you ask him what is going on, that they are raiding"

Regarding the ikebe,some people like it.

It is gift of God and there's nothing those of us that have it can do about it.

Ikebe is hereditary.
Look in your own family you will see ikebe in quantum.
