To those of you uber drivers who think you can talk to uber riders any how and cancel their trip for a cancellation fee of 750, one of you has just been suspended for 3 months.

now he will be joining the other uber rejects on taxify and making life even harder for taxify and it's platform with over populated drivers.

Considering getting a kia Cerato 07 (is it a good choice)
And is it UBER that provides driver or i can bring my own person
Kia cerato 07 is good. but it's not the best.

a lot of people talk a lot of nonsense. if uber isnt profitable why are they still on uber?

Mr Odutope. If you do not believe you will be sucessful, pls venture into another line of business. No one goes into a business strongly believing he would fail and then expect a miraculous successful turn around.

if uber and taxify isnt as profitable as these naysayers claim, why havent they stopped driving? why havent they sold their cars?

Note that i wnt be the one driving this car
After uber deductions, driver and car maintainance/fuel
Can i make 30k weekly with the current prices Uber offers customers now.
Lets be realistic
depending on the make and year of the car, you can make between 40 and 45k weekly.

just get a good driver and not some negative lazy bum that complains about everything on the face of the earth

update on my uber friend trying out taxify this week.

he doesnt come across requests so easily. too many drivers than riders on taxify. he still uses uber to augment.

taxify isnt strong enough to stand alone.

Thank God i found this thread
I av been saving most of my salary so i can buy a car and become an uber partner before the end of the year
Bt it seems its no longer profitable with the way they slashed their prices without reducing the commision they take
I doubt if i can even get 30k profit weekly
And i was really looking forward to this
you cant even get 15k

Hello good evening. Please am thinking of putting a corolla 06 into uber on hire purchase terms. How much do you think is fair to give out this car on hire purchase and how much is fair to be paid weekly for this. Thank you so much for your anticipated response
3.5 millon @ 45k weekly

sorry about that.

most of the mails i replied were returned as errors.

Guys, how do you deal with LASTMA and Police. It seems I am going to break one of them's legs soon. I WANT TO KNOW, WHAT'S THE WORST THEY DO. pls share your experiences. Btw yesterday evening and today, I have lost N4K to them all because I am new to Lagos
unless it's a police patrol team that double crosses you, or police men on bike that stops you or lastma men in patrol van or car, pay less attention to the others.

if any of them jumps in frontbof my vehicle and asks me to open the door i never do so. if they ask me to park well, no way. i engage them in an argument until traffic builds behind me and they have no choice than tell me to go

just have the willingness and the right mental attitude to make it work.

if you are online for a minimum of 12 hrs daily you should be able to pay it off

Reasons: UNCOURTLY, AND SOME MIS-INFORMATION.... wink wink
no.

reasons are just the normal normal nigerian "bring him down" syndrome.

you should sit your ass down and stop quoting me.

the first thing i did after going to see and assess this current car i drive was to go meet a good mechanic friend of mine who used a 2007 honda accord 2.4 liter engine for 4 years.

i told him the mileage of the car and told him how many miles i drive a week and asked him if this car can do the job.

he said yes. he knows the ins and outs of this honda and everybdamn thing about it.

so just sit your ass down and watch a man who is on a mission

@Romeo3 once quote fuk the riders, that he wont accept all destinations, despite his claim of making cool money, he knows he need to till the soil so hard to achieve his aim.

@OlugbengaE you need to understand Romeo3 is a grass root hustler, his dream is to pay off the HP deal, so he doesn't care if he is over used.

Finally, I pray UberNigeria is kicked out of Nigeria, they are fraudulent with their promo. They promise 40k to refer a new car, but some claim they have not paid it, even after 20 trips, has been taking.
all fingers arent equal. i wasnt born with a silver spoon and i have never claimed to be born with a silver spoon. everything i own today i got from working hard.

i am a grassroot hustler and i am proud of it. apart from driving on uber i am a computer hardware and software repair and maintenance technician. hustling is my life because thats the condition i found myself. i dream big and my dreams keep working out for me because i never fail to see and maximize opportunity.

you think you are mocking me when you call me a grassroot hustler and say my dream is to pay off the HP?

what job on earth would one do that doesnt require tilling the soil hard? in an effort to bring someone down, some of you sound so stupid... what is wrong in someone working his ass off to achieve his aim? is it your ass?

show me one famous sucessful person who didnt start small? did they all own it just like that?

yes i am a little guy. yes i am a grassroot hustler. yes i till the soil hard. it's my story. it's also the story of hundreds of guys reading this thread daily looking for a way on how to be successful driving on uber or on taxify.

i show them that it is possible and i show facts. That you own 10 cars on uber and dont have to lift a finger is your own problem. i dont care about that.

i will hustle, i will till the soil hard, i will pay off my HP. when the HP has been paid off and the car is mine i'll keep driving till i buy a newer car for myself and remit weekly to myself.

there is no shame in what i do. i am very proud of myself. there is dignity in every job. i may not own a car right now and have to drive on HP but 2 years down the line i may have 10 cars and drivers working for me because of my work ethics

say whatever nonsense you like. you cannot bring me down. if uber is kicked out, i'll join taxify. if taxify is kicked out i'll join ogataxi. if they are all kicked out, i'll devise another way to survive.

Making money is about working HARD; making Wealth is about Thinking hard!..... wink
i have been receiving a lot of criticism from you guys because of how i run my package.

i work hard i make money. you claim to think hard but i still make more money than you make on uber.

stop speaking english.

if you have any other business you do apart from driving on uber or taxify why are you disturbing my life with permutations and calculations? i take life as it comes and solve problems as they develop.

you lot, on the other hand would rather sit down press calculator and display as facts.

thats why i will always be a step ahead.

so i ended last week on 100k with 63hrs driven

down from 88hrs of last week. this was due to my offline clients.

driving 25 more hours on uber like i did last week would have made me an extra 41,650 naira. this is supported by the fact that i make 1,666 on average every hr i drive on uber.

past week earnings before incentives and promotions are added

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Romeo3(m): 9:02am On May 29, 2017
the problem is greed.

you do not own a car. you are driving for someone. or you are driving HP for someone and you want to make millions while driving another persons car?

majority of lagos uber drivers are dumb by default.

you are dumb if you do not know lagos roads very well and you cannot use gps very well and you decide to join uber just because you heard there was money in it.

these things require Just more than the ability to drive. being able to drive doesnt make you an uber driver. you have to be smart.

for christ sake majority of these guys cannot even use the uber drivers app. all they are interested in is to just tap the circle any time a request comes in.

price reduction + incentives + promotions = more money.

if more money isnt involved no one would bring it up. its like these people also forget that price reduction also means a reduction in the value of the 25% that uber collects.

in the former price regime on a 2000 naira trip uber makes 500.

in the new reduced fares where a 2000 naira trip now costs 1000 naira does uber still make 500? no. they make 250.

does any one think a company like uber will set up a business model that will make them lose money?
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Romeo3(m): 8:43am On May 29, 2017
people do not like the truth.

the truth about uber is that car owners are supposed to be drivingbthe cars by themselves

that is just the truth.

in that way, any money you make you get to keep. without delivering to anybody every driver on uber takes home nothing less than 60,000 naira a week. and this 60k weekly is after fuel and uber's 25%.

if you make 60,000 a week that is 240,000 a month and in 12 months it is over 2,800,000 in profit.

with that kind of money, you can change your car engine and car gearbox 2 times a year if they breakdown. that is why i am always quick to rubbish the depreciation claims etc.

if you are making that kind of money and you cannot maintain your car then shame on you.
