like i said before and i will continue to say. i dont care about uber or taxify or ogataxi or any of them... i only care about making money.
if after my analysis taxify or ogataxi will make me the money i am looking for, then f**k uber. if lyft cones to nigeria and their business strategy will make me more moneyvthan uber does, f**k uber.
it is like i am grossly misunderstood on this thread. i only car about my car and the money i can make. right now, uber is still making sense for me. if it isnt making sense for you, that is solely your business. uber no buy car for me. neither did taxify or ogataxi. they are all the same thing, but uber came first and theyvstill have the lion share of riders.
i dont believe in speaking english or talking nonsense just to rubbish one company.... show me the f**king money. thats all i want to see.
until riders decide to dump uber for taxify or ogataxi, none of those platforms will make sense as long as earning is concerned.
use your head if you are a driver. if uber isnt paying you as a driver nobody is forcing you. sign out from the uber app, delete your uber driver account, delete your uber app and go do something else. stop the f**king irritating complains and stop giving riders a nightmare.
what idiot continues in a place thatvdoesnt pay him? if it isnt paying you why are you still there and why are you still complaining? |

nitigriti: Here's a framework for thinking about the math in this Uber business. Two things DEPRECIATE the value of a car - 1) Mileage, 2) Age. The way I figured this out, our Uber cars will still depreciate (age) if we decided, for instance, to park them in our garage and not drive them. Using these cars on Uber piles up miles on them in a relatively short time; thus reducing their resale value. The right game plan is this - use the car on Uber for max of 18 months; then sell and trade up to another car. My two cents; though a brand new 2007 toyota camry bought brand new in 2007 for 6.5 million naira and was delivered in a container and has been in a garage for 10 years cannot sell for 6.5 million. it is either you allow these people with their failed maths or you stick to the truth you already know. |

nitigriti: Romeo3 has this game all figured out. Thumbs up, brother - you are my role model in this business! Keep dropping us these hints from time to time For godsake, this bloody car made me 27,800 yesterday from 8500 naira fuel. if a car does that on a regular, abeg, what is 9,300? if i dont take care of it, who will? |

toyclicks: Doesn't the comprehensive insurance cover cases like this or is it only cases of accident that it covers? i believe prevention is better than cure. how lonh will it take insurance to pay claims and how long will it take them to fix the car? man hours wasted. zero money made. common sense is totally against such behaviour. |

EMIOMOADEOYE: 3 weeks!
What kind of oil do you use.
Disposable oil? Men that's a bloody waste.
3 weeks! Kilode. total oil 4 liter - 4,100 total oil 1 liter - 1,200 oil filter - 2,500 labour - 1,500 grand total - 9,300 naira only. i dont know where you come from. but from where i come from, spending 9,300 naira on a car that does almost 4,000 miles and makes almost 400,000 naira in 3 weeks is not a "bloody waste"..... it's just common sense. |

eluquenson: That's the sincere truth about it, a friend of mine just spent 17k last week after he entered a deep water which affected the engine and vehicle stops at Adekunle, the rider left him there and later sent 4k to his account. Sometimes, riders are naughty and never think of the safety of the vehicle but rather their comfort and satisfaction they wanted. they dont. i ask riders within 2 mins where i am taking them to. if i dont like the area they are going to because of security concerns, flood or damaged roads, i inform them i cannot go and i cancel subsequently |

uber drivers.
your car is more important than any rider. the rainy season is in full swing and a lotvof areas in lagos are prone to flooding.
never agree to subject your car to deep water because of a rider. if your car quench inside the water, rider will call another uber. pls be wise.
any rider that refuses to consider your car pls cancel trip.
be wise |
