Hello engineers, my Samsung a52s 5G suddenly stopped responding to screen touches. I have taken it a phone repairer who added a new screen, still, no changes (it's not a screen issue). The phone didn't fall off my hand or anything, it just stopped responding to touches. I have tried force restart, boot to safe mode, but no changes. At the repair shop, I was told it's a common issue with Samsung phones, please what can I do ? Thanks.

Did you perform any system update or upgraded to a new android version?
If so, then you'll need to downgrade the OS to the previous version

Yes, it's enabled and working perfectly.
That's the reason I even bought the screen without hesitation, cos I needed the fingerprint to be able to use Samsung Pass.

I'll save up and get an original screen cos this isn't what I truly wanted

That's how it is here in Delta. Samsung screens are way expensive over here. More reason I bought it at that price was there was no follow-come screen available, and you didn't respond to me on time.
And I'm addicted to Samsung devices that I can't use other phones

Yes it will drain battery a bit because the board isn't designed for it. A typical Amoled smartphone consume around 2w.

These copies usually consume over 3w.

Yes, I used to on a Samsung S10 that was based solely on Verizon. Phone was having issue activating Nigerian networks. Kept asking for Verizon..
Changed it to XAA (U.S unlocked) and it started working perfectly. Even the Verizon logo that always boots up disappeared and Nigerian sims started working without issues

You can use Samfrp tool to do that..

Yes, TunesKit iPhone Unlocker can remove iCloud Activation on iPhone XR.

You might want to confirm before vouching for that software. It can help you flash/erase iPhones that are locked or disabled, but it can't remove activation locked. Maybe on older versions like from iPhone X downwards cos they allow jailbreaking.

You can't unlock it fully. Except you want to be using it without sim. There's iCloud bypass you can try.

That's just writing to prevent you from rooting their phone. I used to do software works back when I was still a phone repairer.
As a lover of phone customisation, I can't count the number of times I rooted my phones just to flash a custom ROM in.
Yes, Samsung was a bit tough cos of inability to use banking apps and Samsung pass. Had to revert back to official ROM and everything worked perfectly. You just need to meet an engr based in software. Once he knows the current binary of your phone, it's pretty easy from there.
P.S... I'm typing from a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus

You can unroot the phone by reinstalling the official firmware of the phone. If you can't do it, just take it a software repairer. They just need to download and flash the official ROM from Samsung.
Once it's successfully installed, your phone will no longer be rooted
