Pls @ sir imperiouxx frm ur professional view point based on ur experience what are the next preparation guidelines of for phase2 ie embassy. I would mind an email to me with a checkilist of the things to prepare for and docs to caryy. I will appreciate your reply on this. solo4deji: Hello! To all spring applicants I wish good success in your interview. Please put God first and pray that God should favour you before the consular coz it doesn't matter the document you carry, just pray for mercy and favour.

Consular may ask how many schools do you apply to: 4 schools with different countries it will show that you are not desperate to travel to USA.

To those that don't sit for test pls try and take the test it compulsory.

House pls, How fast can one get an interview date from d day u ready to pickone? Like my skul wanna make admission decision on the 15th of november? If I get d i20 a week later and start processin, will I get a december date for my interview?

Thnks boss I really do appreciate ur reply, one more thing if I may ask is that, in 2007, I was to follow my aunty, a popular gospel musician on a tour to us durin my summer holiday buh due to some documnts reasons, she was told to get anoda paper of 2yrs visa instead of 5yrs, I did d whole finger print process buh since she was denied, I wasn't even interviewd since she was alredi refused so on d online form, will I say that I have applied to the embassy before?

I wrote Gre november 2011, immediately after my nysc.
I was intending to start fall this year(2012).
My gre score(300) wasn't high enough as was hoping to get grants(in any form) to sponsor the program.
Well, I went ahead and applied. One school in usa and another in canada.
I got an offer of admission from the usa school (illinous institute of tech.), without grants.
I was told to send my financial statement to get my SEVIS I-20. But for the fact that
I didn't intend to sponsor myself I just waited. Months later I got a job with a research institute under
The federal govt. So, I deffered the admission till fall 2013.
Please house, what can I do to get financial help. Or should I write gre again? As I wish to go latest next year.
I'm a lady by the way in her early 20's.

@lady month.... GA and fellowships are unconditional, whether good results or not, it all depends on the funds availabe with the school and how early you apply and also area of research interest, inf any professor is ready to employ you, the truth is, you either go there wiv lil u can, n u can get a goodjob on campus, or try to apply to @least 4 schools and u can get wah u need. 300 is ok, and wahs ur cgpa?
