Neddstark: Fornication is a sin. Fornicators admit it. Homosexuality is a sin. Homosexuals don't admit it. M.I claimed to be a christian, so S.Dot he has a right to bring the bible into it. Only a godless atheist will choose to ignore biblical opinion. Lol, fornicators admit it? Really? |
Celebrities › Re: 'Homosexuality Is A Sin' - S-Dot Replies MI Abaga by RosaConsidine: 4:01pm On Aug 08, 2017 |
For one, you can't even use the "it's a sin" line because not everyone is a Christian or even adheres to any religion. If we want to use the bible to start making all Nigeria's laws, all of us should be in jail by now. But that's beside the point.
As for the person asking if a thief is born that way.....you only become a thief by stealing someone's property meaning you're infringing on some other unwilling person's rights. Gay people want to be with each other and are consenting. Why is everyone so concerned about lives that aren't theirs or affect them in any way? |

Doesn't mean I would advocate for all lovers of oats to be jailed, think them abnormal or start conspiracy theories that oat lovers want everyone in the world to eat oats. So long as I'm not being forced into eating it, we don't have a problem. |

And, while I'm not making a case for incest, if we want to go purely by biblical accounts then, on some level, all humans are related. And committing incest on a regular. Where did Cain and Set's wives come from? Did Abraham not marry his cousin, however distant? At what point did incest become a taboo?
Left to me, my biggest problem with incest is the genetic result that might come from such relationships and not necessarily a biblical ban. |

Amberon: And i guess since there are some species of animals that kill their offsprings (eg cocks) then it is okay for humans to murder their children too. Homosexuality has not been proven to not be a choice sir. All that is just speculation.
Homosexuality has not and can never be natural. It is very very unnatural and is even a mental illness Just like transgerism. If only homosexuals existed then the Human race would be wiped out in 100 years. It is no coincidence that homosexuals are 70 times more predisposed to the HIV virus.
How long before people like you start accepting incest relationships. How long before people start marrying object, oh a woman already married the eiffel tower. How dare you even compare homosexuality to blood groups, seriously? Stop glorifying insanity. I wanted to wait till I've read through all the pages but I just had to pause and reply to this post. For one, homosexuality will not drive humans to extinction because gay people will always be a minority. Always. Have always been and will always be. This your line of reasoning is akin to saying the entire human race will end up being black because black people exist. It's not possible and sexuality and population cannot be reasoned in this manner. As for gay people's predisposition to HIV, you do realize it's due to a higher chance tears, cuts or injuries during sex and not one magical susceptibility to the virus. If an HIV positive man has unprotected anal sex with a woman, she stands to be at roughly the same level of risk as any gay person. Educate yourself. |

Also, through the ages, we've witnessed in other religions people dying for their god, sacrificing their children and sometimes themselves to their god and giving up everything they own to their god so it is not peculiar to our Christian faith. Even today, people blow themselves up in the name of their god. What makes the sacrifices of these people any less than what our apostles and martyrs did in times past? |

Working on the premise that everything comes from something, how do we connect the dots from this nebulous something to our Christian God, especially when you consider the fact that all other religions have their own connections to this "something or someone" and temporarily discounting opinions that it is something immaterial or without character or personality? |

Considering APC's performance at the federal level at least, any party shouldn't need much of a plan to topple them in 2019. However, considering the PDP has been locked in seemingly endless internal wranglings (which, I fear, may still continue even after the Supreme court's ruling on the Sheriff/Makarfi issue) and the fact that other parties barely qualify to be called drama groups how much more political parties, it would be safe to say that the APC is still in quite a good position to remain in power post-2019. |

This is a man; a real man. I commend him for not denying, I commend him for being a man and accepting his misdeeds.
Although he is not a Christian; he is better than Pastors like Johnson Suleiman who blantantly denied the obvious truth.
He is also better than Queen Chidinma who called her video photoshopped.

Abbeyme: Noted.
My point exactly is that things have been wrong from the very beginning. Moving out of the relationship at the avoidable collapse isn't the actual solution, choosing right from the beginning should make it right all through the way It's not all the time either party realizes there's something really wrong early enough. As I said above, sometimes people change. Sometimes people pretend to be who they're not and only show their true colors after marriage/having a child. In that case, you can't exactly blame the oblivious party. I mean, the only way they would know what the person they net initially would turn out to be is either by seeing into the future or mind reading. |
Celebrities › Re: Lola Alao: "Every Single Mother Made A Wrong Choice" by RosaConsidine: 2:41pm On Jul 01, 2017 |
Besides what I said earlier, people change. Or pretend. That sweet, loving, considerate guy you fell in love with may turn out to be a total monster once he locks you down. There's no way of knowing ahead of time in some cases, and by the time you realize this, you've got a child already. Regardless of what the case is, if a man is abusive to you as a lady, cut yourself out of that cancerous relationship.
Same thing for guys. If that sweet girl you met turns out to be Jezebel on steroids, my brother, it's time for you to separate yourself from her. |

The most best of truth I have heard from a self-confessed individual in a long time.
Haba.
You can imagine random people on social media telling ladies to walk out of any relationship whenever they feel pressed, without adding that they should not make a wrong choice such as those made based on feelings or social and financial status.
Nice one Hold up. There are some relationships you should totally walk out of REGARDLESS of financial or social status. Abusive relationships, for instance - because you may not survive to walk out of it later. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Fed. Govt Must Stop This Man By All Means by RosaConsidine: 10:26am On Jul 01, 2017 |
Zither: God is not a magician who waves a magic wand and changes things. He is a miracle working God who does the impossible only if He sees your faith and persistence in seeking the miracle. Many people today have not received a miracle from God, not because they don't have faith but because they think that if they have prayed and sought the miracle for a period of time without results then it must mean that faith doesn't work so they give up and begin exploring other means to restore their sight. They forget that faith is persistent and doesn't quit until it has received an answer to its prayer. face it, some people are born blind and would always be blind. How can you say what God's intention is for the person when you are not God? I find it funny how people say God cannot do certain things as if they are supervising God's actions. If people are born with any exception to what human beings call normal, then it is extremely possible that people are born gay. |

Zither: If God created people blind He wouldn't need to open their eyes. If He wanted anyone blind there is nothing anyone could do about it. The fact that He restores the sight of people is a pointer to the fact that He does not create them that way. So all the people who are born blind receive their sight after prayers? |

lastmessenger: it is not normal to be born blind,it is not normal to be born gay. Jesus healed a blind man in the bible. If it normal to be blind he would have left them blind.gays can receive healing from the lord if they ask for it. If it is not normal to be born blind, then why does God create some people blind? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Fed. Govt Must Stop This Man By All Means by RosaConsidine: 10:43am On Jun 29, 2017 |
lastmessenger: God has set laws of nature and does not go against it unless when he wants to demonstrate his power for us to learn( eg Jesus walked on water). A child may have been born blind as a result of the fault of the parents( may be the things the consume or their lifestyle). You don't mess with the laws of nature and then expects God to act and change things. Ofcourse God can change things but everything is in his hands to decide. Gays does not have any argument to continue to be gay. A gay who feels he or she was born gay should seeks God and ask him for mercy to be made straight. Of course it's the fault of the PARENTS, abi? Always their fault! You've not heard of pious people that have had children with defects at birth? These things happen and while they are not standard, they are normal. |

lastmessenger: Homos is yet to come up with a good argument why they practice homosexuality. Some say they are born that way, well the fact that a child is born blind does not make it right to be blind and if scientists can have their means, they will make the child see.that why every person who feels they are born gay must become straight. What the.... Is there a "rightness" or "wrongness" to being born without sight now? Just because we take certain things for granted does not make them wrong, else you should say God was wrong to create a blind child. |
