This is to bring to your notice of the serious nuisance a fellow Nairalander is constituting on the forum. This username ' ikegil' has more than 2o username on Nairaland he uses to create FAKE job post and woo innocent job seekers to send email to his fake email and and also click on his job link which directs them to His video site. HE POST IN DIFFERENT SECTIONS OF THE FORUM.
I have confronted him on so many fake post he dropped in Nairaland and he pulled the posts down but repost several more with different accounts/ username.

Some of his numerous usernames include:

Evebrandy
Randonexe
Rocean
Simonsilas
Midrange
Trenpopi
Aredbros
Etc

In this time and age, you still think getting a job has anything to do with course of study?

Go to banks, oil firms, etc , people who studied zoology, animal science, horticulture, home economics etc are working there.

In this generation, organisations employ graduates and train them to fit into job duties so course of study is not too relevant this days.


Study Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo and be sure you will get job.

It's only when God had not commanded one to get a job that course of study becomes a topic. Once God gives order, someone who studied 'shit' will get job with Huggies to manage production of baby diapers in quality standard to endures baby's shit ( poo) does not escape or leak out of the diapers. In this case, God created the job position for you in such company even when such position was not available prior to your being employed.

NO JOB IS A WASTE IN LABOUR MARKET!

Permit me to say this...
There are few times when the circumstances at job seekers hand is beyond her or his control and in such times, he may be seen as an unserious fellow. Let's take me as an instance, I once got opportunity to attend interview with your company but I didn't make it to the venue due to circumstances that came up. Prior to this, I had already affirmed I will be at the venue through email and phone call. I had brought out and arranged my clothes and shoes a night to the interview day and suddenly things turned out the other way.

Sometimes, it's never international to miss an interview after accepting to come for the interview.

Please do consider me for another chance as customer service personnel or social media account management when you have openings.I have experiences and skills in customer service, call center support, social media account management etc

How's Job Hunting going?

I help recruit qualified candidates into legit firms because the company I work for is a business consulting firm and in some cases, we help these businesses find suitable persons for the roles.

However, there's a clan of persons who apply for jobs that are a tad bit unserious and it's rather infuriating especially from Nairaland.

I've gotten awesome persons from here as well and I'm quite glad.

However, to the very un-serious ones, I don't understand you guys.
How will you apply for a job via email and you don't write a body in the email stating who you are and what you are applying for?
The ones their village people are following are those ones that send the emails without a SUBJECT.

As in I am not getting it. No Subject? Please, what are you looking for?

Another set, they are using their picture to fan themselves in a gathering, will not read the Job Ad which contains specific requirements such as Location, Gender and Qualifications, that shows you are not observant and highly inattentive to details.

Another Set, after being shortlisted for interview will call hours after the interview to say sorry they couldn't make it (or even worse) can't make it, and if they can reschedule. Wait!!! What?

For my company, we always do a phone interview before an invitation to the physical interview, so one question we ask is if you'll be available for a phone interview? If you say yes, please honour your word. If the day reaches and you can't make it, let us know in time, you just deprived someone else of the opportunity.

Another Set, Please make sure your CV is updated. Don't write you are proficient in Ms Word and Excel and when you arrive for a physical interview, you can't tell us 30% of 5,000.


Finally, if you are in 2019 and you are still not proficient in any social media platform then I don't know what is doing you. Then those of you that apply for Social Media Management jobs, please know the bloody job you are applying for, for Heaven's Sake.
When you are asked what are the things a business should do to grow their base on Instagram. You had better know about it. This is 2019, Jesus!!!

How can you apply for such a position and stare blankly at the interviewer and start stammering? It's infuriating.

I understand that some interviewers can be mean and come at you strong. But that is not in your control.
You should, however, fix those things you have control over and that is YOU.

I understand we all have lives aside job hunting. But if you're going to apply please be serious and stop wasting anybody's time including yours.
