A litre of crude cost almost $0.45. When you factor the cost of processing + profit you will understand why petrol is expensive. Previous governments are responsible for your entitlement mentality. Petrol was never cheap. Someone was paying part of the cost for every litre you bought.

In fact, in Malaysia, conversion to cng is free and conversion back to petrol is free as well

Also cng tanks have a lifespan of 15 years after which they become unsafe

Back to your original post, we have leaders who do not THINK and that is where we have a problem. The Governors especially are the worst set of politicians we have. Any project that will not benefit them in billions will never be considered. We have a long way to go jare..
