Celebrities / Re: Portable Shutdown Casablanca, Spain With His Hit Songs - Highlight by Rossikk(m): 8:10am On Sep 02 |
I can understand when foreigners love Davido, Burna, Asake, Rema etc etc.. But this Portable...I don't know what the guy sings that makes anybody listen to him. Anytime I hear him, it's just noise. Just him shouting. Is shouting now the in-thing? Is that the new type of Afrobeats that is reigning? |
Politics / Re: Dangote Petrol Ready For Rollout by Rossikk(m): 7:57am On Sep 02 |
Fantastic news to start the day. We are now officially self-sufficient in refined petroleum products and petrochemicals, as well as being the continent's largest producer and exporter of same, courtesy of the world class Dangote Refinery. Brighter days ahead. God bless Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Naira20: Well, I certainly agree they've been trying to slow Nigeria down. And it didn't start with APC. But all they can do is slow it down, not prevent the rise of Nigeria. We are an unstoppable train! |
Politics / Re: Nigeria 7th Biggest Economy On Earth By 2050, Say International Experts by Rossikk(m): 7:33am On Sep 02 |
Naira20: It doesn't work like that. Nigeria's annual budget is 40 billion dollars. That's not enough to make you 7th or 5th biggest economy in the world. The projections are based on development trajectory in terms of economic diversification away from oil, infrastructural development etc over the next 25 to 50 years. 1 Like |

ejieddy: Stop thinking like a slave. How did he destroy their relationship? Napoli is run by ASSHOLES. They had agreed a fee with Al Ahli, and at the last minute, added a $5 million fee on top, leading to Al Ahli’s angry withdrawal. HOW THE FCK IS THAT OSIMHEN’S FAULT? 2 Likes |

Culture / Re: Are NIGERIANS Ancestors Of The Chinese? by Rossikk(m): 6:22pm On Aug 31 |
illicit: Explain the connections. Linguistic and physiognomical. If you went to a remote country where the natives bore names like Jack, Michael, Esther and Oliver, you would conclude immediately they must have had ancient contact with the English. So what’s the difference here? Why are Nigerians bearing clearly Chinese names, or you are not aware of it? Actually the more accurate question would be “Why are the Chinese bearing Nigerian names?” |

Culture / Are NIGERIANS Ancestors Of The Chinese? by Rossikk(m): 5:19pm On Aug 31 |
In the middle belt to north west we have ethnic groups whose people bear names like Nandong, Nanjing, Nantang, Nanfwang, Fogyang, Fungo, Tarweng, etc. Their languages also sound AMAZINGLY Chinese/Japanese etc. I also noticed that people from there tend to have those slanty thin Chinese - type eyes. Are NIGERIANS the remote ancestors of the Chinese? |

Politics / Re: Please, How Far With Soludo’s RAIL Project? by Rossikk(m): 4:18pm On Aug 31 |
mrvitalis: Mr Man, Rail system is not a profitable system, and is not meant to be profitable, unless you privatise it. Rail is a public service that helps to boost the economy by bringing down the cost of doing business. It’s not about making profit for the govt. It’s like roads. You don’t justify a road on the basis of profit potential to the govt. |

I have just read the full text, and NO WONDER the op left it out. The poor man whose picture he posted there says that they have provided any tracking information required of them by the security agencies, but that it is the job of the security agencies to act on the information, not the NCC. ……………….. You agenda-driven posters really need to get a life! Very useless set of human beings! Scum of the earth! 6 Likes |

AcuraZDX: You are very STUPID to post such a senseless thing with no context or expansion. But you found his picture to post? Was that all the man said? “It’s not our fault”. That’s it? You just posted something with no explanation just so that people could abuse and insult the man. You are idiocy personified. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Has construction started? I saw him signing an MOU with great fanfare about a year ago, with some foreign contractors. The talk was all about building an Onitsha metro rail that would rival Lagos.. Can somebody give us an update on the project, please? |
