BigDawsNet: It is not COUNTRIES that develop vaccines. It is COMPANIES. PRIVATE FIRMS. What stops YOU from establishing a FIRM that researches vaccines? Oh I forgot. You're a DUNCE allergic to innovation, creativity and research. Only expert at pointing a finger at 'NIGERIA' while 4 fingers point back at your thick skull. 1 Like |

DedeNkem: Producing vaccines has ZERO to do with ''leaders'', and EVERYTHING to do with YOU, the private sector. Unfortunately, you're a DUNCE, so you have nothing to contribute but bile, so kindly shush your trap, and let those who are trained in the field discuss developing vaccines if they so wish. 1 Like |

topstone4: Shut up, fool. Buhari does not need to eat the same food you eat, to be an effective leader. He is not on your level. He's the President, so shut up. If they make YOU president tomorrow, will you be following us to drink garri? Idiott. Go and ask Trump if he eats the same type of food in the White House as the average American in Mississippi, or gets treatment from the same hospital as a homeless man in the ghettoes of Detroit, Michigan. Idiatt. |

Money miss road 'prince' and looter. I'm sure there are millions of his brethren in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and the Palestinian territories going without food, shelter, and other basics whom he could share that money to. 11 Likes 1 Share |

nedekid: Go to school and get an education. Your spelling and diction are atrocious. You are a disgrace, and are in no position to criticise anyone or any government for anything when you yourself are so deficient and incompetent. And the word is 'idiocy', not ''idiocity''. No wonder you failed those interviews, and now it is Nigeria's fault you're useless. |

uuzba: Go and read what was typed. There was nothing about ''1960'' and ''oyinbo'' there. NIGERIANS manufactured vaccines in the 1960s AFTER independence up till 1991, a full 31 years after ''oyinbo'' had departed. Just to read a simple write-up is rocket science for you. Next thing is to type low self esteem gibberish. |

nedekid: Olodo rabata. Look at him pulling examples from China, Cuba, and Russia. Communist countries! Was that because you couldn't find any CAPITALIST nations like Nigeria where the government is manufacturing vaccines? Of course it is! In capitalist nations, the PRIVATE SECTOR manufactures drugs and vaccines. Just because the Nigerian govt ventured into it in early years DOES NOT MEAN IT IS THEIR JOB, any more than my bending down to tie your shoe laces to stop you tripping over them when you were a toddler, means it is my job to do the same for you in your adulthood. So grow up, set up a firm that is useful to society, and CONTRIBUTE, instead of waiting for the government to tie your laces. |

Hongkog: I run a business, and do not spend my waking hours BLAMING the Nigerian govt for my not peeing straight into the toilet, like you do. Worthless, useless youth. As you point your finger in blame at the govt for your failed life, four fingers are pointing back at YOU. |

Hongkog: See that? ''Illiterate president''. But YOU cannot stand to be insulted. You are an animal with foam where your brain ought to be. Talking rubbish about ''toothpicks'' when your JUNIORS are establishing startups here in Nigeria that are attracting hundreds of millions of dollars in investment from here and abroad. Don't use your brain to do something useful with your life, you hear? Be looking for your father to blame over stupid ''toothpicks''. |

Everyday, government this, government that. Until you people get your heads out of the government's ass, and become innovative, creative, and do things for yourselves, you will get nowhere as a people. The man that set up Pfizer did not get A SINGLE CENT of US government money. He just started a small firm a century and half ago, and included a bit of research and development in his activities. He had no idea that the firm would grow into the giant it is today. He just believed in himself and took a chance, in 1849, when America was nothing. He grew it, and then his children took over, then THEIR children took over, and they've become so big today that whole countries are demanding their products. Here in Nigeria, the people are waiting on GOVERNMENT to help them brush their teeth in the morning. |

Hathor5: You DON'T KNOW the government's job. Who funded Pfizer? TELL US. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pfizer |
Health / Re: Why Nigeria Cannot Produce COVID-19 Vaccines – Faisal Shuaib by rossoki: 11:14pm On Jan 11, 2021 |
Hathor5: How can government fund what does not exist? Have YOU opened a vaccine research firm and sought out govt funding, and then been refused? If so, then YOU can complain. If you have not done that, then there is nothing to blame the government about. Pfizer did not receive any government funding. They are just a private firm set up a century and half ago by some pharmacist guy and his son, which grew to the giant they are today. THEY WERE NOT FUNDED BY THE US GOVT. |

nedekid: Actually, it is NOT the job of the government to produce vaccines. Pfizer, Astra-Zeneca, and other manufacturers are not government owned, but private enitities. It is up to the private sector, IE YOU, AND ALL THE IGNORANT, STUPID, DUMB CRITICS HERE, to start firms that research and develop vaccines. It is NOT the job of the government. It is YOUR job. Lazy, useless citizenry. Government must also wipe your nyash when you shiit. 2 Likes |

wman: Quit trying to educate these wastrels. They get a psychological high by badmouthing Nigeria. It's like a daily fix of drugs for them. There doesn't have to be any real reason for them to start. Anything at all they can latch onto no matter how ludicrous is enough for them to start their orgy of criticism. They are sick, demented people. They lack the creativity and originality of thought to alter their failed lives, so 'Nigeria' is their fall guy. 2 Likes |

Kingluqman: Look at another dunce. You have no shame. If there is no pencil factory, is that something to insult the country about, or is that something for you to say, ''Hey! There is no competition for this. So let me start a small pencil making outfit in my backyard.'' That is how a Chinese or Indian thinks. BUT OUR LOCAL RESIDENT LAZY AND STUPID BABOONS LIKE YOU will rather see it as an opportunity to INSULT Nigeria. Worthless waste of space. Your problem is low self esteem, semi-literacy, ignorance, stupidity, and low IQ. 2 Likes |

Hongkog: Look at you. Stupid mumu. Nigerians are building FAR MORE COMPLEX STUFF THAN ''TOOTHPICKS''. They build cars, SUVs, buses, trucks, armoured personnel carriers, and manufacture a variety of products from chemicals to paint to pharmaceuticals to motor spare parts. That is why we have thousands of factories all over the country, NONE of which your lazy, school dropout self has ever stepped foot in. So SHUT UP YOUR STINKING LIPS, and go contribute YOURS by setting up a toothpick factory if you think there Is demand for that. DUMB, BRAINLESS IMBECI.LE. 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: Why Can't Domestic Companies Construct Rails In Nigeria? by rossoki: 10:32am On Jan 11, 2021 |
Austine1213: Lesotho has only one rail line built in 1905. Zim, Swaziland, Malawi etc are not known for rail services. These countries you're listing are tiny populations with precious little demand for mass rail. They mostly offer a token service. And it wouldn't surprise me if SA leverages her political and economic influence to get those poor neighbours to buy her trains. |

They need to learn from Europe, and jettison their racism and xenophobia, and allow mass immigration from the developing world, or their country will fall into decline. |
