Abuja Kaduna railine is currently congested...if u go to idu ..u can wait for hours and not get ticket...just weeks ago the fair almost triples yet people are still paying and the rail running at maximum capacity...the same thing will happen to Lagos Ibadan rail line... Inshort it best to have the entire length Completed (Lagos to Kano to Maradi) to generate massive income from both freight and passenger travel...

Ajaokuta Kano gas pipeline is not a failed project..the future of Nigeria is gas..as oil is gradually fading..we have more gas reserves than oil... because of the environmental implication of oil and it product... everything is being switched to gas cuz it way cleaner and very cheap..that one of the reason why FG wants to convert many vehicles to run on gas...
The pipeline is part of an integrated African pipeline system that stretches down to north Africa passing the sea down to Europe..this will allow Nigeria export gas to Europe in the future..the way it does with oil today..

I will agree with you if the schools from primary to secondary are free, free notebooks, free textbooks, free transportation, free lunch for all children during school hours, free health services.

and every local government has its own community college for any children that wish to further without crazy cutoff marks then that is when you have a visionary leader.

Jakende did free education in Lagos back then, free notebook, free textbook, pens, mathsets, free good tap water, almost free uniform. some of the products are in many places in the world today during great, they are politicians, lawyers, doctors, engineers, bricklayers etc.

Development is not about just building malls by the government which eventually over 90% of the population can not even near the place.

This is the job of the private sector, and this will be achieved if there is a conducive condition for it.

It's very evident to the blind that Lagos to Calabar railway will be more viable and economical, i guess that's where the Chinese are delaying in funding the project. This government has politized the whole thing. The Abuja-Kaduna railway is looking unviable because of the banditry ongoing along that routes, just look at the money we wasted building that almost failed project
Now the AKK Gas project is another political project that is bound to fail. This northerners have completely wreck Nigeria beyond repair

5.3 billions on rail alone when poverty is at highest level. It shall never be better for these people. How can this country move forward with these wasteful manner for God sake. Is it not better to divert this particular money to something that will surely lift Nigeria out of poverty. Our refinery is moribund, money market is catastrophic, yet they are borrowing billions of dollars to build liability that the half of the money will be looted.

Stop comparing one of the largest oil producing country in the world to countries with way less natural resources. Even those countries you mentioned are doing way better than Nigeria

i think it has to do more with the increasing poverty level, the current recession & economic meltdown, the lockdown, the 2nd lockdown, having Jubril as a president, being Nigerian, etc..

Me I dey fly go back lag by weekend. At least, the hustle and bustle keeps us preoccupied and stressed out to the extent we don't get to think about the constant nagging depression that's slowly killing us.

We come back home worn out and hit our beds till the next day. Zoned out. For people who don't find satisfaction in their work, they turn to alcohol, drugs or sex... or a spending spree to zone off.

AUN is a private university which the average Nigerian cannot attend while KNUST is a public varsity which the average Ghanaian can go to. To cap it, KNUST is highly ranked than AUN.

So, what is your point?
