just praying my own works out cos i made terrible mistakes in my application form. im attaching a note with my application tho to explain my blunders! clumsy me. my own application is patch patch. lol guys please wish me luck as i go to submit on wednesday.

kemkem30: I did mine in Lagos. You will be taken to a room where you will remove EVERYTHING. I put on top and trousers so, I had my trousers on. you will then be given a robe to where. So don't worry u will have ur privacy. And I be alhaja, I had the same fears.

hey guys, i know this question may seem silly but ild ask it anyway. do you have to UnCloth for d tb test? r will they give you sth to put on?

Bambamzzzz: I can testify to these 2 bank statement things,please if you dont want to give yourself long thing kindly use one bank account because i used 2 and it caused confusion and my visa was refused then i had to reapply again with one statement before i got an approval email.
So my brother or sister kindly use one statement ohhhhhhhhh

initially i wanted to use a deposit acc statement but since someone on this thread said they dont accept it or sth along those lines, i then decided to use a current acc but i dont think ild be denied visa just cos im using two bank statements. if anything, it adds to my chances, should the money in my current acc not be enough due to the fluctuation in exchange rate.

I just got my VISA today...

I submitted on the 14th of august at ikeja...

I used the following documents;

1. CAS
2. Waec cert
3. Degree
4. Tb cert
5. Letter of sponsorship
6. Bank statement (fixed deposit cert)

Yes I used a fixed account. My agent UKEAS told me I could despite what people said. I was sceptical at first then I decided to do a little research.

I have said it earlier in this forum that fixed account is a cash fund and not a bond. This is becos unlike bonds, u can terminate it at anytime.

I went online and checked/read all the rules of UK visa permits and I found out that fixed account is actually allowed on the condition that u get a recommendation letter from the bank stating that you can terminate it at any time.

Bank mostly will not give u this be cos most fixed account investment certificate already states this and also when they are called to confirm your account, they will inform the embassy. Besides, the embassy already knows that u can terminate it at anytime.

The reason for saying this is to enlighten people. If u have a doubt about something or u are not clear one something, go online and check it. Don't rely on people words alone..

thanks for this info. ild combine a fixed deposit cert with my dad's current acc bank statement.

gbemmiey: Tb test is 21,040. Either u pay at the citi bank or use bank transfer. It is better you pay physically at the bank because sometimes it takes time for it to reflect kn their account.

kk thanks but whats citi bank? and can i have the bank details? i didnt even know i was supposed to pay beforegoing thought ild pay when i get there.

spikesC: You should print the statement from the bank location because you need it to be stamped and signed.
The first bank statement is enough.
Someone submitted 2 and was denied...so weird right?

TB test is around 29k.
Mode of payment is either online/offline transfer or bank deposit. You must bring a teller/receipt while coming

Hey guys, please i need your input. i booked my tb test for 8th and my visa appointment for 10th. The issue is that my 28th day falls on d 8th and since i stay outside lagos, i intend going to lagos on the 7th. my dad is suggesting that the bank sends me the bank statement via email and then ild print it out. is that going to be accepted?
Also he wants me to use two bank statements. one has the 5million + , untouched (ie no transaction has been carried out in d acc since i put in d money). The oda one he says is to show them how his money is coming in and going out though there is little or no money in it. is the second acc statement really neccessary?
Lastly, how much does the tb test cost and what is the mode of payment?

hey guys quick question, I made a mistake and put £800 as living cost instead of £820 but the money in my acc is actually enough to cover the living cost. Do i cancel the application as i havent booked an appointment yet but i've signed the declaration form and how do i go about cancelling my application?.

please guys is anyone having issues booking visa appointment in lag too? Also, can someone show me what that form you are supposed to print out and sign looks like. Nawa ive never been this clueless before. i may have made a mistake sef cos after submitting the application online the next step was to sign a declaration slip and i wrote my name in the column for signature. Is that the form im supposed to print? cos i didnt print it oh.

while filling out my form, under the sponsor details i was asked to provide primary contact number. This information wasnt included in my CAS. i emailed the uni since wednesday about this but i didnt get a reply yet. so i want to be clear about this, are they asking for the uni's phone number or wat?

Nope, the money should be in that account till your visa is out. Also, the money is, presumed, to be for your upkeep in the UK, so why moving it back to a fixed account?[/quote]T

please i need urgent answers. I just got my CAS and i intend to book an appointment for my tb test next week and also begin filling out the application form but before doing so, i want to confirm if i can use a fixed deposit account?. My dad told me that i could use it at first oh now he is telling me that it isnt an account per say that the would take money out of it and put it back the same day some confusing statements like that so he told me that this process is due to be carried out on the account on the 18th of this month. Now im confused as to when to use the bank statement. can i use it before the 18th? and has anyone used a fixed deposit account to apply? how did it work out for you?
