I saw that emirates is cheeper like 117k but everyone keep telling me to use KLM which is 250k.

emirates is good. its just that you have to fly down to middle east before heading to europe. Their service is good. The only advt klm has is dat ur journey time may be shorter.

IntroVAT: I've decided against arik.I was just told by Arik I can't for a student, and that even if I book a return flight since i'm going for a 3 year course, the return will be forfeited. Ridiculous

Or is that the same for all flights? For longer terms like mine, the return is forfeited?

So if I want to book for a return, what should the return date be in my case? What's the maximum a ticket can be held for?

when i went for my undergrad, i doubt my dad bought a return for me. Even now im going for my masters i didnt book return. Dunno tho. Different strokes i guess. Have u tried emirates?

just collected my passport from ikeja! my visa is valid till jan 2016!!! Those that got approval on tuesday should go and check o.

its better you submit in ikeja vfs if spaces are stil available atleast i got my approval mail within 4 working days.

I just got the almighty approval mail "Your application has been approved and the visa has been issued. We aim to return passports to the VAC within 2 working days. You can check the location of your passport at www.tpcontact.co.uk " i applied on the 12th at ikeja

Thanks to all them bosses in the house, your real time info had been worth it and my GOD has smiled on me, despite all the hiccups i scaled through

If you have not given him money, you can book yourself and besides Qatar airways is Overpriced at 250k, you should be able to get a direct flight for that price.

Thanks he booked emirates instead at almost half that price.

mine also made reference to www.tpcontact.co.uk , thats if you want to check ur passport location. it does say the passport would be returned within two working days to VAC. im guessing that is where we submitted d documents. so i intend travelling to lag sometime next week to pick it up there. if u stay in lag u can go on fri tho. congrats!

Guys, God came through for me! ha my visa has been issued. Godbless you lot for your help. Those waiting for theirs please have hope, believe that it would be issued. I cant believe this cos i made a lot of terrible mistakes on my form. i also put insufficient money in my dad's acc heck it was d last minute i calculated and saw dat i was using a wrong figure so i had to use a deposit account statement to make up for it. Oshe God!!!! whoot whoot!! super excited mehn.

Is there anyone who applied and submitted his online application before the count of the 28days rule and dropped his documents on the day he chose his appointment that got his visa? I need to know cos as it stands,going by what I have been reading on this thread, TP is a no go area(soon to be tier 4 Lords),so I can chose VFS before they run out of appointment spaces.

my 28th day was on d 8th but i did my online application on d 1st, submitted in ikeja on d 10th. im hoping to get my visa tho.

Am about to submit my application tried booking appointment at ikeja centre but the available date is on the 23rd and school resumes on the 26th. But teleperformance vi that people are been warned to stay away from have date starting from on the 15th. Should I book for ikeja or go with teleperformance vi.

it would be wise to book ikeja judging from this thread. Also find out your uni's latest date of resumption.

BUT what wasn't stated was the duration of the response. Please for those that have been granted visa how long should the average response be? Seconds? Minutes?

I already know my answer should be short and precise, but please what is too short?

Finally, what should my reply be to this question if it's asked:
What are your plans after study? Will you return home or remain in the UK?

I have plans for a masters degree after Undergraduate studies, so how should I answer this?

Please I tried paying for my Visa application online yesterday, but I couldn't and I have already scheduled a date for my submission..
I am trying to make the payment very early 2mrw, will dat affect my scheduled date

If you have not already done so you need to log back in to your Visa4UK account and rebook an appointment.

if it says your appointment has been cancelled then it is what it is. log in again and try booking then proceed to make payment. ha my own payment worried me o no be small tin lol for close to a week. it is well sha.
