God encourages the assembling of brethren together, and when they do, they could pray as they wish "Lifting up holy hands'. Mighty miracles happen in Churches as well as individual prayers prayed silently at home from a sincere heart. God does not hear sinners otherwise those prayers wouldn't be answered.
