Honestly, the VP has no record to campaign with. Aside from being part and parcel of this government, he failed woefully in the SPECIFIC ROLES ASSIGNED TO HIM.

There's nothing true in the whole write-up.

1. Osinbajo has since been relieved of his position as head of the economic team. While he was there, he founded the Market Moni shceme and several other programs that made business people fall in love with him.

2. Osinbajo's activity is not directly related to the rising cost of Commodities. Blame Emefiele for that. Emefiele made dollar scarce, giving rise to the eventual fall of the naira, since scarcity breeds price increase. Osinbajo is not to blame but rather the wicked Emefiele.

3. It has been said that Osinbajo had Tinubu's blessings to declare for president. Even if he doesn't, Tinubu cannot use his own selfishness to kill the destiny of another. After 8yrs of a Muslim presidency, another 8yrs of another Muslim presidency cannot fly. Osinbajo knows that Tinubu won't be in the race, hence it would be foolish of him to waste this golden opportunity. In the pursuit of destiny, Osinbajo's declaration cannot be taken as disloyalty. Only fools would reason that way. No one kills his destiny simply because of another. Nigerians are calling for an Osinbajo presidency. He cannot betrays Nigerians, and Nigerians are bigger than Tinubu.

4. Osinbajo's sack of Buharis cousin isn't disloyalty. That shows a man who knows that Buhari is wrong in many ways, but the wrong is enthroned only because Osinbajo is not the one in
power. This particular point establishes the fact that Osinbajo cannot be bullied as president, contrary to some schools of thought alleging that he'll be a weak president.

Osinbajo didn't betray Tinubu. Tinubu is very selfish. He rejected Osinbajo's nomination as vice president. If not for a former governor of Lagos State, and the efforts of Aregbesola, Tinubu would have succeeded in blocking Osinbajo from becoming Vice president. Now, knowing that a Muslim after Muslim presidency would not fly, he still wants to use the same selfishness to block Osinbajo's chance to become president. The only truth is, no one should and can claim the actual understanding of Osinbajo's vp nomination and approval between Tinubu and Buhari. Buhari himself was helped to be apc candidate, not by his power or sagacity, but by sagacity of Tinubu.

It was Osinbajo who pushed Tinubu's governorship candidacy down Baba Jakande's throat that led to Tinubu becoming governor of Legos. Tinubu rewarded Osinbajo for his role in helping him becoming governor by making him his chief judge.

The Northern wing of the Osinbajo Support Movement (OSM)
has blasted an unknown group called the Arewa Civil Society Group's statement regarding the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, for baselessly claiming that the VP was seeking immunity against potential prosecution after the 2023 elections, even though he has not declared interest in the electoral race.

The OSM in a statement by its Northern Zonal Coordinators, Hon. Aliko Shaibu (North West), Alhaji Ibraheem Bello (North East) and Dr. Emmanuel Tembe (North Central) noted that Arewa Civil Society Group allegations against the VP are merely a rehash of the same set of bogus lies that have already been discredited and debunked over and again.

OSM statement reads in full;

“The attention of Osinbajo Support Movement (OSM) has been drawn to the statement credited to one Arewa Civil Society Groups making outrightly false and damaging remarks on the person of Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.

Without mincing words, it is safe to assert that from the tone of the group's message, they are misguided and have no regard for truth, facts nor does the group understand the meaning of credibility. A review of the allegations they tabled are the same set of rehashed allegations against the VP that have been presented several times and equally debunked over and again.

For instance, independent groups in 2019 commended the N-SIP for its impact on alleviating poverty, providing jobs for unemployed Nigerians and improving small businesses nationwide. Prof Yemi Osinbajo charted the policy directions of the programme, winning laurels and awards both in the country or abroad.

The Vice President stands tall and can raise his heads high and quite frankly, this is why many Nigerians are rooting for him as President.”
