Can’t you read and comprehend? It happened in the region of the organizers. They did not go to Onitsha or Enugu to force Igbos to protest. Now that Igbos want to protest, they should do the protest in their region. This should not be too difficult to understand.

What I'm doing is not basic comprehension. I'm doing rational and critical thinking.

Tinubu didn't force anyone to protest in their regions but it did happen.

The organisers of this one are not also forcing Lagosians to protest but it might also happen.

Hope this is not too difficult to understand

Yes and the prices of Petrol was reduced back then.

Purely political but the goals was achievable

Please can you list the demands from the August protest and tell me which is achievable?

Don't worry. Just as Tinubu's protest was purely political and it achieved its aim of removing that govt, the organisers of this one what to achieve the same goal.

After all, what's good for Tinubu is also good for Ati..

Be consistent with your arguments basis

But my argument is right. If that protest also touched other places, this one too might touch Lagos. Simple

At least, Soyinka, Bakare, Adeboye and Tinubu did not organize the protest against Jonathan in Enugu, Yenagoa or Port Harcourt. They organized it in Yoruba land and Igbos like you did not protest in the SE.

Now that Soyinka, Bakare and Adeboye are not interested in any protest and the Igbos who refused to join the 2012 protest now want to protest, kindly take your protest to Enugu, Onitsha, Abia etc. That’s the sensible thing to do. No protest will be allowed in Lagos.

Now tell yourself the truth. Did that protest happen only in Lagos?

No union will join the protest.

How do hell do you want to reach the government?

The demands are silly and not achievable

Have you read the demands of the so called protest?

"The demands are silly and not achievable?" Have you forgotten what one of the protesters in Tinnbu lead protest, who is also your brother said? He openly admitted it was purely political.

What is No there.

Sebi Tinubu was in opposition when he staged subsidy protest which he restricted to his region.

Now that you guys are in opposition and have problem with his government, stage the protest in your region and restrict it there. We would read the updates as news

Anyway, the main venues for the protest are in the north. But just as Tinubu's protest also took place in some other places, this one might as well happen in Lagos
Politics / Re: Yorubas Are Not Against Protest. by RoyalUc(m): 4:26pm On Jul 27
Iamgrey5:
The protest was largely peaceful and coordinated with unions to have a meaning.

The goal was to bring the prices of crude oil down temporarily, which was achieved.

Whereas we saw how Endsars didn't end even when government ended SARS.

You can always protest in your region, we don't support disorganized protest in the South West.

And what makes you think this protest is not well coordinated and won't be largely peaceful?

Did the then govt do half of what this one is doing to truncate the protest

Was it in Kano, Kogi or Enugu?

The very funny thing is those who are not from Lagos state are the one trying to organize the protest on our behalf when no be say they fell from the sky.

Let them carry their protest to their respective regions

Remind me Helinues, where was the protest venue organised by Tinubu, joined by Bakare, Soyinka, Adeboye etc against Jonathan?

What did the Kenyans achieve with their protest? The Hong Kong protest that lasted for years, what did they achieve with it? The Arab spring protest that swept across the Arab countries, what’s the outcome? Are those countries better off today?

Back to Kenya,

In 2008, there was a very bloody protest over the December 2007 presidential election. Over 1500 people died as a result of that protest. One would have thought that that was enough to earn the people their liberty but no, they are again protesting and losing lives for the same purpose.

Who are the beneficiaries of all these protests? Politicians. From the Arab spring to the Kenyan protest of 2008 to the current protest and the planned anti-Tinubu protest, politicians who want to grab power will be the beneficiaries and not the poor masses who are pawns in all of these.

The Ruto Kenyan protesters want to remove today was the popular activist of yesterday who had the solution to all of Kenya’s problems. He’s the same Ruto that defeated a political alliance of Kenyatta and Raila Odinga. He was supposed to be the messiah so what has changed?

Anyone thinking the planned protest in Nigeria is about the masses is a fool. A very big fool. It is never about you and will never be about you. It’s all about politicians greed and desire for power grab.

What about the one organized by Tinubu and his gang against Jonathan?

Tinubu and his cohort came out to boldly tell us there's no subsidy payment several times and now that the lie is being burst open you are here calling others foolish for calling out the government lies.
Have you ever seen any society that is built on fraud and deceit prosper, if Nigerians have been lied to by the government do we know how much fraud have been perpetuated in the process that they are covering?
Your own is that we should accept it like that irrespective of the fraud implications this portend for the government, you must have the same fraud in your DNA like the druglord you support in aso rock.

Now ask urself if he didn't pay again 🤔
.meaning petrol price will turn 1170 for Nigerians 😭

Indirectly will cause more hunger and hardship in the land ..

So is he doing good to us as at now or bad 🤔.

You don't have shame.

When the subsidy was not removed how much was fuel? And what were the prices of commodities and transportation like before?
Ok, now that your Tinubu is doing us the favour of secretly paying for the subsidy, what positive impact have that had on the economy? Have the prices of things returned to where they were before he became President?

The people of Delta north are not against state creation but have made it clear that they don't want to be part of SE geopolitcal zone because they are aware of restructuring plans to see Nigeria return to regions using the existing geopolitical zones as a template.

The gidgiddy is trying to down play geopolitcal zones because he knows that the very reason the people of Delta north are against zoning to the SE is because they are very wary of falling into the SE zone .

I see.

Of course it applies to Biafra. The Biafran agitators want referendum, and it is referendum that will make Biafra exist in law

However, when someone is saying he wants to belong to South South or South East, when neither exists in law, and there no agitation for either one to exist in law, it becomes foolishness

Alright.

I think the people made it clear they want to either remain in Delta State which exist in law or agree to Anioma State which will remain in South South which according to you, does not exist in law.

Which is a better option?

It doesn't matter if Ndokwa/Ukwani are Igbo or not, it's just about 4 LGA's, insignificant in the wider scheme of things

But people should not be fooling themselves with this SE/SS matter

Neither South East nor South South are recognised in the constitution of Nigeria. You cannot belong to what does not exist in the eyes of the law

So if you say you want to be in the South South, or don't want to be in the South East, both are foolish talk because in the eyes of the law, neither South South nor South East exist. They are mere geographical expressions. Only 36 states and 774 LGA's are recognised

But do you agree that a people should be allowed to stay where they chose to belong?
