Done what? There is separation of power now. The president has no power to do that

Then he should start with himself and his executive arm. Or you think it's only the legislature that's wasting our resources?

Hey helinues, do you in all sincerity believe that "The president has no power to do that" if he wants to? I mean the Jagaban you know

And you even think the SDP senator is being sincere?

O helinues! grin

Whether he's sincere or not, he has clearly shown that:
- He acknowledges there is hardship in the land
- He feels the pain of and empathizes with the citizens unlike those who still live in denial just because of politics
- He has publicly acknowledged that their pay is too bogus and if reduced, the excess could be used to pay Nigerian workers.

Tinubu, being an Accountant, People who are believed to be frugal and judicious in managing resources, he should have done this but rather doing the opposite

Are they indeed saints or claiming to be?

They are not and are very few. But APC are in charge of all tiers and most levels of government. So this noble intention of the SDP Senator should be fully supported and implemented by the APC led government of President Tinubu

But you and I know that in a place especially like Nigeria, the acts of a few saints will be drowned out by the acts of the many devilish.

Behave like a normal person

Truth is, politics is like a football game. While you support your club and wish your club wins all the time, another person wants the same.
In the spirit of sportsmanship, we should learn how to accommodate others.

But one thing is clear. It's not right to project personal interest above collective interest

NL still is.

Just that NL matter now is more like going to market, if you focused on the market noise, you would miss a lot. Same way I ignored the troller boy on this thread

Can't even can't how many suggestions made by NL's that people in government have made use of meaning the government people are active on NL

That's correct.

And that would also mean that we say the truth and the true position of things most times because that will send the right message to those who need them to do better.
