gidgiddy: Bianca accepting or not accepting a position from Tinubu is irrelevant. She is just another person. The reason some seem to blow it out of proportion is because she was once married to Ojukwu. However, it been more than 12 years since the death of Ojukwu, and Bianca is now her own person
The administration of Bola Tinubu is a national disaster, and anyone who serves in such government will sink with it. Apparently, Bianca is happy to sink with it, her decision I agree |

Originalsly: Why should the CP.be commended? The doctor seized the two children ... that's kidnapping. What's the difference when someone is seized and will not be set free until money is paid? ... is it not also kidnapping? The doctor should've been charged for kidnapping.... that will be upholding the law. If the doctor wasn't paid then it is for him to press charges on the mother for not paying for services rendered. I wonder if the CP has a young hot wife and the doctor seizes her for bill payment if he will take same action. Thank you very much |

TONYE001: OK, let me ask you a practical question.
How do you expect a hospital to run if patients are unable to pay their bills because they are in "hopeless and helpless situations"?
You know hospitals pay rent, pay for power, pay staff, buy medications and pay specialists that come to review their patients.
How can an MD survive in the above-painted situation? No body has denied the fact that "hospitals pay rent, pay for power, pay staff, buy medications and pay specialists..." No body has also said patients shouldn't pay their bills or think hospitals are charitable organisations. However, what some of us are condemning are: 1. Holding mother and infants hostage for 6 months. He has no right whatsoever to do that. 2. "The activist narrated that his team wasn’t the first to come for the discharge of the twins but the doctor kept hiking the delivery charges in order to make it difficult for whoever came for their release." |

helpee: You are saying rubbish. The professional ethics guiding medicine SPECIFICALLY STATED THAT THE DOCTOR IS ENTITLED TO HIS PROFESSIONAL FEE AND COST OF TREATMENT .
There is no ethic that says that the doctor should pay your bill or work for free. I didn't see where you said the ethics include hiking the delivery charges each time and holding mothers and their infants hostage for months. I'm sorry I didn't even realise who I was talking with. Take care. |

helpee: If those people going for the discharge were serious, they would have raised the money. The money the foolish activist is spending to visit commissioner of police up and down could have settled part of the bill. You didn't consider the fact that the doctor will reject the next person in labour without significant deposit. You guys really think it is easy to run a hospital. You think the nurses will hear story that the salaries are not paid because they were doing credit or you think they sell oxygen on credit. You think government buys fuel for the hospital? Only God knows what is wrong with Nigerians. Someone saved a life with his personal resources, you are here talking rubbish. You think the doctor operated him for free? Apart from the cost of the operation, the cost of taking care of two babies and mother after child birth. You are here talking about foolish fundamental human right.
Next time, the doctor will just tell them they don't have oxygen needed for operation and without 300k deposit, they can't buy it. It is you that will still come and cry blood when a woman dies in labour after being rejected by multiple hospitals for lack of deposit.
Nigeria won't work with this your mentality. If you can't pay maternity bills, use condom. This is not an accident or emergency. You planned it and had 9 months. Use condom. The doctor is not your family that will be responsible medically and financially for your delivery. Oga, please stop! "The money the foolish activist is spending to visit commissioner of police up and down could have settled part of the bill" for you, it's ok for the doctor to keep "hiking the delivery charges in order to make it difficult for whoever came for their release." So it's fine for someone to give you a bill, you managed to raise the money only for the other party to hike the bill each time you managed to raise the initial amount? "You didn't consider the fact that the doctor will reject the next person in labour without significant deposit." Yes, let him reject! It's better to reject those who can't afford his bill than to turn around and exploit them. |

Dawson126: You know sometimes, people could have their inherent behaviors too irrespective of their professions.
Our business people out there are really struggling these days. It's not easy on them and I've known really quiet people who have turned so violent these days especially from customers wey dey collect credit. It's not just easy out there. May God just help all of us in this country and make it worth living, bless our hustles and purses. Jah bless. There is a reason for 'Professional ethics.' This Doctor's action clearly violates all Professional ethics and business ethics. His "inherent behaviors" in this matter is wrong and must be condemned. Just as it is hard for businesses, it's even harder for most individuals. |

Infact, That doctor must be mad! He knows he is in a lawless country. How else can one explain such madness. AntiZikist: Shut your dirty mouth there.
The Doctor was looking at stealing those twins and selling them
How much was the bill that the doctor was willing to detain the mother for 6months in his hospital after delivery ?
And same Doctor was jacking the bills daily so as to make it impossible for the mother to pay the bills.
The Doctor knew the girl was poor and that she is a single mother. He wanted to force her to hand over her babies to him from where he will sell them for profit.
Go and read how it took the intervention of the State Commissioner of Police to release both mother and babies. Thank you. Don't mind those nonsense people talking as if they don't have any soul |

By the time you begin the work and you start to pity people by doing charities, by the time hunger and bills set in, and ingratitude of some patients (major thing), cos some could be so mean, na that time the doc go begin to think say nobody gets this monopoly of craze na, and na that time folks go begin blame am. The same people abusing Wike now were praising him when he was rigging elections for Jona and using the Judiciary with the help of Odili to win all sorts of abnormal judgments. At the end of the day, the average Nigerian is not interested in any good governance, what they are interested in is that the person they support should be in charge.
If Wike had supported Obi during the last election, these people would be telling you how great Wike is.

DIVINEEVIDENCE: The office of the GCFR, immune from prosecution, controlling all sectors of the armed forces and the economy, having jurisdiction over the whole territory of Nigeria with its lands, mineral resources, waters and vegetation and with the prerogative of mercy over all natives within the territory of Nigeria; has dignity in itself.
We may have promoted or given way to criminals and elements of questionable character and ideologies to assume that title but it doesn't in any way inviolate the personality of that seat and position.
When the time is right, a responsible leader will assume that title and make good use of his position to the betterment of the nation.
Like dictatorships that eventually give way to sensible leaderships, this is a phase we will eventually come out from. It is therefore the current occupant of the seat that is being ridiculed and not Nigerians |
