While you Ikomi think the country is falling apart the economy continue to grow, power station that will help fuelling economy is underconstraction.Black people are graduating from South African univesities which are some of the top in the world at a very fast pace.Infrustructure is well mentained and more developments are taking place.Zuma as a President so far is doing well,we live in a country where people fire a President.

The is more to South Africa than what you guys read in the papers,It is unfortunate that as black people we never support each other, with us is about who is better and that is the weapon our 'enemies' uses againts us.

Most African states could learn a lot from us,about how we do things.Youth leaders in Nigeria must run to Malema and ask him for guidance,Yes the guy is not educated but I like his courage,he come from a village and was raised by his grandmother, never finish his matric, and at 27 when he say something the 'most educated' listen,BBC,CNN and other journalist who are trying to build careers listen,I think he is a genius.
And as for Zuma what more can you say about the man,he showed that he is your typical Zulu man and it means anyone in South Africa can lead the country,it's called democracy.I don't think anyone in South Africa feels that they are living under dictatorship.

So my dear friend I am sorry to disapoint you by saying South Africa is definetely not falling apart, maybe you should look closer to find the right answer.

Malema calls BBC journo a ‘bastard’
Cathy Mohlahlana | 7 Minutes Ago

There was high drama at an ANC Youth League media briefing at Luthuli House in Johannesburg on Thursday.
The party’s youth leader Julius Malema kicked a journalist out of the briefing on Thursday after calling the reporter a "bastard".

He shouted at the journalist saying: “You are small boy, you can’t do anything. Go out, bastard!”

Malema also accused the gathered media of being obsessed with him and so desperate to sell newspapers they were willing to write anything.
The atmosphere became tense as Malema started shouting at a BBC journalist for interjecting as he spoke.

“Chief, can you get security to remove this thing here,” he said to security referring to the reporter.

He said such behaviour would not be tolerated in Luthuli House and that the Youth League would not be undermined by reporters who wanted to run amok.

“This is a building of a revolutionary party and you know nothing about a revolution. So here you behave or else you jump.”
He also accused the journalist of treating him the way white people used to treat blacks, saying: “Don’t come here with that white tendency!”

Malema also accused reporters of having lost their minds and being obsessed about him.

“You have become obsessed with an individual and as a result you have lost your minds. All of you,” he said.

The comments come just weeks after a group of political reporters laid a complaint against the league’s Floyd Shivambu for threatening reporters who refused to run a story he was giving them.

During the briefing Malema said the ANC Youth League supported the leadership of President Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe.

Beaf:
What an animal. No wonder his boss was deservedly beaten to death.
Those people are despicable racists, imagine the way he addressed a woman! And on live TV!

Yet the clown wants the World to believe that he is superior to Blacks. He is inferior to even cockroaches, let Malema sing!

"Kiss the boer! Hei! The farmer! Hei! Hei!!" grin
Beaf you're killing me now grin Iwish I could see you singing it.are you toyi-toying grin

I remember our struggle songs man like yesterday,we had song like
'one settler one bullet'

'Dubula ibhunu(kill a boer/settler)
Umshini 'wam(my machine gun)
Bayadelela amabhunu(whites/settlers have no respect) and many other that inspired and gave us courage when we where facing this racists.
Farmers are killing farm worker all the time and because most of this people are poor you'll never see it reported but when one farmer is killed, irrespective of how eveil this man was,it make headline all over the country and in some part of the world.
Personally I don't want anyone to be killed,I hate war or violence of any type, but I do understand that there are people who are vioceless and sometimes their last resort in addressing their grievience is through violence and in South Africa we have a lot of those people. And until something is done about it,stories like this will keep popping on in our newspaper every week.

^Racist boerres have always been fools,I think this guy spend all his life in Ventersdorp which the Afrikanners think its a Volkstaat or white territory, and I guess this is the first time in his life that a black person speak back at him.
It is unfortunate that places like Ventersdorp exists,I mean in Limpopo province there are towns that we know for a fact that blacks are not allowed, black residents there live like slaves in their ancestral land. But the good thing is wind of changes is blowing at every corner in South Africa even towns like Ventersdorp will be reached and we will change even its name to a more African one.

Check their website huh

http://www.awb.co.za/nuus_e_1_stryd.htm

The AWB existence is justified by their actions on behalf of this nation. Betrayal has also been committed by certain elements, which left the organization in the lurch. Many had voted, following Viljoen’s "peaceful road", which today has cost the lives of hundreds of farmers. Viljoen promised that within six months after the elections an Afrikaner State would be created.
Today seven years further on many fear prosecution, others have emigrated, many are still where they were at the start and will not bow before the "Noble Savage". We bow to none but our God!!

Every actual move towards freedom, every act of resistance, which is still demonstrate by the Boerevolk today, is carried out by those whose roots lie within the AWB. Accordingly, it cannot be said that there isn’t any other organization in a position to do anything in the interest of this nation's struggle for freedom, but this far the AWB has taken the lead in action. Too much blood has been spilt for this nation. Too many members of the AWB sit in prison for this nation. The AWB is the conscience of the Boerevolk!

Meanwhile Mr. Terre’Blanche is still being harassed with accusations; consequently both he and the AWB are being boycotted by the media and even by the peoples’ own media. The AWB has become for many something of a hot potato. It's emblem, the three sevens, has, as a result of Jewish insistence, become a Swastika. Many people say the AWB has earned itself an unsavoury reputation and is no longer as popular as it was, and contains nothing more than political thugs. Hasn’t everything in the country and in the wide world, which is conservative and stands for the truth, earned for itself a bad name?

Haven’t the Christian, Jesus Christ and the Boer become abusive names with a bad reputation in the eyes of the world? Let us not play into the hands of our enemies who wish to see an end to the AWB and the Boerevolk. The AWB is founded on Christian principals and its emblem symbolizes the victory of good over evil. The three sevens as opposed to the three sixes. How then can it receive a bad reputation? As a result of legal costs and financial burdens personnel of the AWB offices were necessitated to dig deep into their pockets to carry the costs. Once again from within the ranks of so-called members of the Boerevolk the AWB is being slanderously accused of letting their comrades down.

The AWB has never turned it's back on any of it's comrades, let alone, forget them. Many comrades have allowed themselves to be misled into believing that the organization had forgotten them, resulting in them breaking away and/or passing unfair judgment on the organization and it's leaders. The result of this division had negative results, spreading even throughout the entire Boerevolk. Once that solidarity begins to show cracks it project a negative picture and portrays the freedom fighters and casts the freedom fighters in the role of criminals. To be imprisoned as a freedom fighter makes you superior to prisoners convicted of criminal offences. Each and every political prisoner, who is nothing less than a prisoner of war, must remember that although he feels disgruntled and an outcast, the struggle for freedom is not yet over. It has only just begun.

It is high time that the people review their ideals and not allow dissension and personal judgement to get the upper hand. Every compatriot has a responsibility to God, himself, his family and nation. This is not racism, it is nationalism. Long live the struggle, long live the Boerevolk!!

Malema in Zimbabwe,I think Africa need more Malemas and Mugabes if we want to be treated with respect
This article is from the Zimbabwean Herald

Harare — ANC Youth League president Cde Julius Malema has lauded President Mugabe as one of the few African leaders with guts to stand against the wishes of the West.

Cde Mugabe, he said, has a strong history as a peace-loving leader who does not encourage political violence.

Addressing journalists at State House yesterday after meeting with the President, Cde Malema said some African leaders were even afraid of the unborn children of imperialists.

Earlier, President Mugabe had appraised Cde Malema and his delegation on the history of the liberation struggle and the relationship between Zanu-PF and the ANC.

He advised Cde Malema that he should never sacrifice ANC principles on the altar of expediency. He said Zanu-PF and the ANC shared the trenches during the liberation struggle and continue to do so as they fight to empower their people.

He said when the imperialists colonised Africans they turned the people into semi-slaves and changed their way of living while at the same time denying them education because they feared that once enlightened the people would fight.

"Do not sacrifice principles on the altar of expediency. Do not be opportunistic. Principles should be principles. They should never be sacrificed," he said.

Cde Mugabe said when Zanu-PF and the ANC took up arms to fight they had realised that whites were only here to amass wealth and were not committed to the welfare of indigenous people.

He said at independence, Zanu-PF espoused the policy of reconciliation because the struggle was not against individuals but policies that they advanced.

"When we got independence we did not see the reason to punish anyone. We said let bygones be bygones. We forgive but do not forget," he said.

Cde Mugabe chronicled the history of the land reform programme and how Britain and America reneged on their promises to finance land reforms. He said some white former farmers had tried to fight the land reform programme through the Sadc Tribunal adding that the tribunal "does not have power over us".

Cde Mugabe attacked some black elites for thinking the economy should remain in the hands of whites simply because some of them are chief executives.

Soon after his closed-door meeting with the President, Cde Malema said many people draw inspiration from President Mugabe's leadership.

"President Mugabe is amongst very few African leaders who can say no. Many leaders are scared of children of imperialists and their grandchildren and even the unborn children of imperialists," he said.

Earlier Cde Mugabe said founders of the Organisation of African Unity, now African Union, must be shaking in their graves because many African leaders are agreeing to the divisive politics of the West.

Cde Malema said whites will never abandon Zimbabwe because of the land reform programme because there is nowhere in the world they would own so much land.

"All capitalists are now accepting the land reform as a policy of Government and are beginning to co-operate. They are not talking of going away. They will never own the hectares they have here if they leave. They have nowhere to run to," he said.

Cde Malema said his delegation had learnt a number of valuable lessons in Zimbabwe with regard to the land reform and empowerment of the indigenous people. The ANC Youth League, he said, had copied some of the lessons for implementation in South Africa.

"President Mugabe, like President Mandela, fought for us to gain political freedom. It is up to us to take it further. We are going to strengthen youth movements in Southern Africa and progressive countries in Latin America," he said.

He defended the singing of the liberation war song Dubula Ibhunu (Kill the Boer) saying he was much younger than the song. He said liberation luminaries such as Chris Hani, Oliver Tambo among others, sang the song.

He dismissed allegations that the recent killing of the Afrikaner supremacist, Eugene Terre'blanche, was linked to the song.

He said he would continue singing the song because it forms part of the liberation

"We feel very proud when we sing the song. I will continue singing the song. If anybody wants to assassinate me they will find me ready. If they kill me they will not eat me," he said.

He said the ANC Youth League had invited Zanu-PF to send a team to understudy how the ANC campaigns and woos the people.

Responding to a question on his attack of the MDC-T, Cde Malema said the party had started the fight and should not force him to visit them.

"The MDC-T was the first to insult us. Unprovoked they held a Press conference in Sandton and insulted us. Then you expect us to be nice. We are visiting our friend. You cannot force us to visit you," he said.

^Unfortunately those boys will rot in prison,I think black South Africans are too forgiving,we tend to look at the bigger picture,I guess Mandela's lesson of using our brain not our boiling blood is resposible for our forgiving ways.
When Bantu Biko was beaten or tourtured to death by the regime police in prison,I thought we could have went to war but we didn't,when Chris Hani was shot at like animal infront of his kids in 1993 beforefore the historic elections I thought we where going to take arms and do racial cleansing but we didn't,blacks South Africans are a forgiving nation but it does not mean at all that we are cowards,we are sons of warriors.

Terrreblance's death is not at all political but it is very much racial, those boys must have endowed hard labour and pain in this guys farm,to him they where not workers but slaves and slaves after all the abuse turned against their master and butchered him in his own house. There have been simmiliar cases where white racist farmers where killed by their 'slaves' or realatives of this 'slaves' and they act as if they don't know the cause and blame it on politicians.

All I can say for now is the DOG is dead and I don't give a damn. And if white farmers want a revenge lets wait for June and July and take each other after that.tHEY'VE never felt the wrath of a black man.

@1,2 another study say majority of crime happens in the most poorest area of the country and murder and rappes happens amongst people who knows each other and most are related and alcohol abuse plays a big role.

I have never heard a gun short in the past 16 years,South Africa according to me is much more safer now than during aapartheid.
But I am first to aggree that the is a force that is preaching the opposite and only God knows why they are doing it.FIFA President once mentioned this forces within and outside the country and questioned their intentions.I think it is racism others think it is political.

One wonder why the Brits press is still so negative towards South Africa.Or the fact that we are Africans means nothing possitive should come from us? Or is it just a plain business decision by their press to report on stories that sell, meaning anything negative about Africa seems to be big in the western media.
Anyway I hope God save their queen.

South Africa is a safer tourist destination for British tourists than Spain, Thailand or even Germany.

This is according to a report released by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The report, which examined the behaviour of British tourists from April, 2008, to March, 2009, measured how much help Brits needed from their different consulates abroad.

And the results may surprise you. Of the 451 580 Britons who visited South Africa in the 12-month period - and a further 212 000 living in the country - there were 23 arrests, 23 hospital admissions and 48 deaths, due to either accidents, natural causes or murder. No rape or sexual assault cases were reported
These statistics were from a country with a crime rate so high that a British firm, Protektorvest, felt the need to market stab-proof vests to tourists wanting to visit South Africa for the World Cup.

One British newspaper reported that some travel operators would offer armed bodyguards as part of their World Cup tour packages.

But statistically, Brits were nearly twice as likely to die in Germany than in South Africa during the same period.

About 115 000 Britons were living in Germany at the time of the study, with the former 2006 World Cup host attracting an extra 3 million British tourists. A total of 438 deaths were reported - nearly 10 times more than in South Africa.

With its reported 761 000 British residents and an extra 17 million British tourists each year, Spain registered 2 290 arrests, 1 825 deaths, 22 rapes and 35 sexual assaults. Most countries had very low numbers of rape and sexual assault of Britons abroad. However, there were 28 reported rapes in Greece, 10 in Cyprus and eight in Turkey, with a further 28 sexual assault cases for the latter.

Statistically, Thailand was the least safe destination. British tourists were most likely to be arrested for drug offences, most likely to be admitted to hospital and most likely to die - all in Thailand. According to the report, a quarter of the arrests of Britons in Thailand were for drug offences.

Where South Africa did fall short was in passport theft. A total of 871 British passports were reported as lost or stolen in the country during the 12-month period.
