A controversial fella like el rufai even makes our job easier. Right from the north, his votes have started getting divided. Now come to the south, a politician like el rufai with long history of bigotry is a complete bad market. Don't interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. |
legba1:There is a difference between an alliance and a master -slave relationship. Cone head. |
She has a point though. Although you can suck and press the breast, there is really nothing you can do with the ass aside from touching it. |
Corrinthians:We all know that 16 years of opposition have damaged your collective Yoruba psyche.. Just 3 year of mainstream politics and you and your fellow bigoted afonja leaders have ostracised everybody. And these clowns want to represent the south. Keep dreaming. |
Ihateyoumod:Didn't you hear that Jonathan was trying to reduce northern population for election as postulated by the apc and the north. We agree. |
Nonsense. Togo has taken over the container economy from Nigeria under your collective watch. I guess jobs will come out of thin air. |
Because the south west contributed to buhari, they want to claim everything. Contrast that to how igbos have been voting for non igbo southern presidents under the pdp even when we would be justified to fight for the presidency ourselves. There is opposition mentality and there is mainstream mentality. |
ImperialYoruba:Umar a notable northerner says the north prefers igbos. We have done it for much longer. Look at the way the apc is ostracised by the rest of the south. The south west did that. Tinubu is trying to turn it to an egbe-omo-oduduwa show that is not feasible in the long run. Look at how igbos supported Jonathan even we would have been justified to fight for an igbo presidency under pdp then. We understand mainstream politics. We don't need to always claim the spoils of war just because we deserve it. Only a Yoruba man with opposition mentality can believe tinubu will ever be president or the south west will keep representing southern Nigeria in the apc political architecture in the long run. It is not feasible. |
Udom should do a press conference and tell his people how the FG is infringing on his constitutional mandate entrusted on him by the akwa ibom people as governor . Play him as a tyrant and a dictator. And the entire purpose of his visit would be defeated. |
So the president can use state facilities by force? Is that not a clear abuse of power? The CEO of the state does not want you to but you want to force your will on the people. |
ImperialYoruba:Yoruba are opposition. You don't know how to play mainstream politics. Even the north knows. Allowing you control of the apc is not feasible in the long run. |
And just like that man said, the igbos and the north have been in alliance for much longer. Unlike what obtains now between the west and north, the alliance was not condescending. We didn't stoop to conquer. Our alliance was based on mutual respect. |
That is the fact I have been saying. The fulani owners of the apc want an igbo presidency because they forsee the hand writing on the wall. They know an apc without igbos is an opposition in the long run, and the pdp will capitalize. It is not feasible. And it is no wonder, the SGF have publicly called for igbo presidency in 2023. It is the Yoruba in the apc that are running faster than their shadows, without any recourse to long term political realities. 2023 is going to be interesting. Nothing is set in stone yet as far as the apc is concerned. There are still sensible people in that party that do not answer to tinubu. |
Abfinest007:You know wetin fair women Don show dem when they were poor? Someone like akpororo with that kind of face and no money, he would have not had the guts to woo this woman. It is not surprising that when money came, he looked for the fairest woman he can find. |
Chukazu:Face to face with a superior intellect can do that to anybody. ![]() |
Oshigun:Ogbeni, stop quoting everybody If you feel you are correct, wait till 2023 and see. |
We need to stop creating threads like this. The next southern presidential candidate in 2023 or 2027 for pdp will be igbo. There is a chance if apc is smart that the next southern candidate would be igbo. Another fact is that a Yoruba candidate does not and will not represent southern interests. If any party choose a Yoruba candidate, that party should know southern votes will not go to them, in case that is part of their faulty calculation. Now with those facts that will not change , we can close the thread now. |
So a vice president who naturally should attracts crowd given his current position is now an achievement? Okay. I guess there was a Vice president that was not able to attract a crowd. |
MissJoy29:But your card is being maintained, even when you don't have money in the account. I am sure other bank accumulate it too which they will debit at once, but they won't debit you until you have funds. |
Have you ever noticed that ladies don't friend zone rich guys,. |
If I catch this woman eh |
So if I have that kind of money, na dis balloon I go marry? Waste of money. |
Basic123:As if this is the first time igbos are voting for a Fulani. If you don't know the difference between buhari and the other Fulanis we voted, you will never know. |
... |
Just look at the mighty house he is living in. Obviously, proceeds of corruption. We can't continue like this. |
Though after all the gra gra, the brits still won. Their victory gave birth to Nigeria. |
The greatest resistance to the British came from old eastern region and also delta state.. From the boat battles in the creeks of the Niger delta to the gun battles in the plains of aba. It was real war. |
BluntBoy:Someone has to stand up and fix it. That is what the United States Congress has been saying. That is what AI is saying. But when you keep passing the bulk,it become a usual inheritance for every government. |
BluntBoy:And who is supposed to or capable of holdingthe military to account? It is not me or you. It is the commander in chief. And when the same thing keeps reoccurring without change, it means the commander in chief is failing at his job. The Military is not an independent unit. It serves at the pleasure of their president. |
BluntBoy:But it is politics. Everything that involves the responsibility of the federal government is political in nature. The APC played politics when there were in opposition and broadcasted the failures of the reigning govt. Why do you not want apc to be held to the same amount of scrutiny? The only thing that moves politicians in Nigeria is reelection and politics. If you divorce the politics from their responsibility, you have given them the perfect excuse. |
BluntBoy:Then it is the responsibility of those govts to fix it If they don't, then it is a blight on them. We expect buhari to now fix it, but with supporting fanatics here and there , the old man has the easiest job in the world. During the Jonathan era , the north accused him of killing their people. Why did they accuse him for the brutality of the military if it was not his responsibility as the commander in chief to correct it ? |
