PoliticsRe: 2023 Loading: Osinbajo And El-Rufai In Pictures by RTSC: 11:06am On Dec 25, 2018
A controversial fella like el rufai even makes our job easier.

Right from the north, his votes have started getting divided.

Now come to the south, a politician like el rufai with long history of bigotry is a complete bad market.

Don't interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

Although you can suck and press the breast, there is really nothing you can do with the ass aside from touching it.

Very concise ipobic reasoning. Bravo comrade! grin grin
We all know that 16 years of opposition have damaged your collective Yoruba psyche..

Just 3 year of mainstream politics and you and your fellow bigoted afonja leaders have ostracised everybody.

And these clowns want to represent the south. Keep dreaming.

Didn't you hear that Jonathan was trying to reduce northern population for election as postulated by the apc and the north.

We agree.

Nonsense.

Togo has taken over the container economy from Nigeria under your collective watch.

I guess jobs will come out of thin air.
PoliticsRe: 2023 Presidency: North Has A Long Political Alliance With Igbo– Umar, ACF Leader by RTSC: 7:11am On Dec 25, 2018
Because the south west contributed to buhari, they want to claim everything.

Contrast that to how igbos have been voting for non igbo southern presidents under the pdp even when we would be justified to fight for the presidency ourselves.

There is opposition mentality and there is mainstream mentality.
PoliticsRe: 2023 Presidency: North Has A Long Political Alliance With Igbo– Umar, ACF Leader by RTSC: 7:08am On Dec 25, 2018
ImperialYoruba:
You must misstake opposition to be something other than mainstream politics. Either that or your understanding of "political mainstream" needs a polish.
Umar a notable northerner says the north prefers igbos.

We have done it for much longer.

Look at the way the apc is ostracised by the rest of the south. The south west did that.

Tinubu is trying to turn it to an egbe-omo-oduduwa show that is not feasible in the long run.

Look at how igbos supported Jonathan even we would have been justified to fight for an igbo presidency under pdp then. We understand mainstream politics.
We don't need to always claim the spoils of war just because we deserve it.

Only a Yoruba man with opposition mentality can believe tinubu will ever be president or the south west will keep representing southern Nigeria in the apc political architecture in the long run.

It is not feasible.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Will Campaign At Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Federal Govt Insists by RTSC: 6:51am On Dec 25, 2018
Udom should do a press conference and tell his people how the FG is infringing on his constitutional mandate entrusted on him by the akwa ibom people as governor .

Play him as a tyrant and a dictator.

And the entire purpose of his visit would be defeated.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Will Campaign At Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Federal Govt Insists by RTSC: 6:46am On Dec 25, 2018
So the president can use state facilities by force?

Is that not a clear abuse of power?

The CEO of the state does not want you to but you want to force your will on the people.
PoliticsRe: 2023 Presidency: North Has A Long Political Alliance With Igbo– Umar, ACF Leader by RTSC: 6:40am On Dec 25, 2018
ImperialYoruba:
Dude,
Do you know how party politics work? Look across Nigeria and tell me which region has delivered for APC. APC has a Northern President but the voice of APC is already in SW.

SW speaks for APC, not North. What happens in APC in 2023 will be determined by SW, not North, not ACF. Dont let Umar lie to you. grin

You can turn your region to APC if you want the ticket or put all your strength in and make sure Atiku wins 2019.

When you talk of APC going forward you talk of Yorubaland. Not North, not ACF. grin
Yoruba are opposition.

You don't know how to play mainstream politics. Even the north knows.

Allowing you control of the apc is not feasible in the long run.
PoliticsRe: 2023 Presidency: North Has A Long Political Alliance With Igbo– Umar, ACF Leader by RTSC: 11:14pm On Dec 24, 2018
And just like that man said, the igbos and the north have been in alliance for much longer.

Unlike what obtains now between the west and north, the alliance was not condescending.

We didn't stoop to conquer. Our alliance was based on mutual respect.
PoliticsRe: 2023 Presidency: North Has A Long Political Alliance With Igbo– Umar, ACF Leader by RTSC: 11:08pm On Dec 24, 2018
That is the fact I have been saying.

The fulani owners of the apc want an igbo presidency because they forsee the hand writing on the wall.
They know an apc without igbos is an opposition in the long run, and the pdp will capitalize.
It is not feasible.

And it is no wonder, the SGF have publicly called for igbo presidency in 2023.

It is the Yoruba in the apc that are running faster than their shadows, without any recourse to long term political realities.

2023 is going to be interesting. Nothing is set in stone yet as far as the apc is concerned.

There are still sensible people in that party that do not answer to tinubu.

Many in the SS, despite what is said publicly, will not even vote an Igbo candidate. Bad market. Being over-sentimental always, in defiance of reality, is the main problem of the Igboman.

If you think Nigeria will hand the Igbos power, even in the next 20 years, without any serious rapprochement that will see Igbos gain the trust of others then you delusional. Don't even mention Igbos till 2035 in my opinion. How you guys don't understand that actions have consequences is beyond me. There must be something unigue in the water in your region.
Ogbeni, stop quoting everybody

PoliticsRe: 2019: Igbos reactions to Yoruba 2023 Presidency dream Is Pathetic & Pitiful by RTSC: 10:07pm On Dec 24, 2018
We need to stop creating threads like this.

The next southern presidential candidate in 2023 or 2027 for pdp will be igbo.

There is a chance if apc is smart that the next southern candidate would be igbo.

Another fact is that a Yoruba candidate does not and will not represent southern interests.

If any party choose a Yoruba candidate, that party should know southern votes will not go to them, in case that is part of their faulty calculation.

Now with those facts that will not change , we can close the thread now.

When something reoccurs across different administrations, you should know it goes beyond just a single administration.
Someone has to stand up and fix it. That is what the United States Congress has been saying.

That is what AI is saying.
But when you keep passing the bulk,it become a usual inheritance for every government.
PoliticsRe: Soldiers Shoot At Protesters In Zamfara, Kill Many, Injure Others (Photos) by RTSC: 6:03pm On Dec 24, 2018
BluntBoy:
You are wrong.

There are institutions such as the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement agencies that shouldn't be politicised.

Trying to politicise military brutality is one way to protect the issue and allow it to continue reoccurring.

We read about soldiers shaving some people's hair against their wish. Is that also politics for you? Did Buhari order that!!! Is that the first time the military have trampled on people's rights?

What about the extrajudicial killings in the North?

Yes, the bulk of the blame goes to the president. But the military need to be held responsible too.
And who is supposed to or capable of holdingthe military to account?

It is not me or you. It is the commander in chief.

And when the same thing keeps reoccurring without change, it means the commander in chief is failing at his job.

The Military is not an independent unit. It serves at the pleasure of their president.
PoliticsRe: Soldiers Shoot At Protesters In Zamfara, Kill Many, Injure Others (Photos) by RTSC: 5:45pm On Dec 24, 2018
BluntBoy:
That is not the point. The person I mentioned wanted to play politics with the matter. He wanted to make it appear like this wouldn't happen under PDP but we all know about all the atrocities the military committed under GEJ, including the atrocities that made people of Borno to lose faith in them.

This is a matter of national interest. Not a matter of PDP or APC.
But it is politics.

Everything that involves the responsibility of the federal government is political in nature.

The APC played politics when there were in opposition and broadcasted the failures of the reigning govt.

Why do you not want apc to be held to the same amount of scrutiny?

The only thing that moves politicians in Nigeria is reelection and politics.

If you divorce the politics from their responsibility, you have given them the perfect excuse.
PoliticsRe: Soldiers Shoot At Protesters In Zamfara, Kill Many, Injure Others (Photos) by RTSC: 5:38pm On Dec 24, 2018
BluntBoy:
Was there not military brutality before Buhari?

You people are making it sound like Buhari brought military brutality.

The issue of police and military brutality will continue as long as we are addressing it wrongly.
Then it is the responsibility of those govts to fix it
If they don't, then it is a blight on them.

We expect buhari to now fix it, but with supporting fanatics here and there , the old man has the easiest job in the world.

During the Jonathan era , the north accused him of killing their people.
Why did they accuse him for the brutality of the military if it was not his responsibility as the commander in chief to correct it ?
