Podakejol: In your dreams. No empire is greater than that of Oyo in those days. So stop mentioning Benin 2 by 2 kingdom in 3 local governments okay
A Yoruba man founded Benin. Fact The oyo empire was beaten black and blue by women from dahomey when they try to pass their boundary. oyo was great at subjugating fellow Yoruba groups. It never in its history ever attempted to expand towards Benin. Even the civilisation, system of government and culture of Benin is far superior to whatever yoruba had to offer. A fellow Yoruba man did not establish Benin. That is Yoruba fable not Benin history. |

24SEVEN: But sincerely aren't Akwa Ibomites wasting their resources unnecessarily?
Look at the sparsely populated environment and tell me what vehicular traffic warrants such infrastructure. Can the money be used for something more pressing and/or beneficial.
Why do people who suddenly struck wealth resort to wastages. By the time the Ibom seaport comes on stream and the journey from the port to onitsha is less than 2 hours, you will see the value of all the investments. |

I can't wait for him to lose in November because it's going to be hilarious watching the racist cry in mass. That is not what it says though. Trump cannot invalidate current daca recipients, but he can cancel the program permanently and prevent others from joining. |

babaolofin: It is not a matter of having a star power, it is internal politics. It is mainly because he is not an IBO but from North Central. If an IBO man who has been at DG top level position has been substituted, Nigeria would have been in chaos. The South East bloc at both House of Reps and Senate would have protested. The Social Media space would have been in chaos, the print and electronic media would have been filled with cry of marginalization and tribalism. PMB will not even attempt to substitute an IBO nominated candidate with another tribe. The man is a star but a victim of internal politics.
Kofi Annan was a career person at UN before he became Secretary General. Egypt produced Boutros-Ghali . He was a politician and diplomat before he became UN Secretary-General . There are 55 countries in African Union with only Egypt, Nigeria and Benin showing interest. This is nonsense. what has been igbo got to do with international politics? |

You think you are enjoying.
You are destroying yourself by sowing a terrible seed for your destiny.
With persuasive words she led him astray;
she seduced him with her smooth talk.
All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter,
like a deer stepping into a noose till an arrow pierces his liver,
like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life.
24 Now then, my sons, listen to me;
pay attention to what I say.
Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths.
Many are the victims she has brought down, her slain are a mighty throng.
Her house is a highway to the grave,
leading down to the chambers of death.

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

DexterousOne: What?
See what a supposed educated person is saying
Even the USA cannot turn international agreement to toilet paper
What are these ones saying sef? Let me give you just one example. The US created the international criminal court and is a signatory along with most Nations of the world. The ICC indicted their solders for war crimes and want the US to submit them for investigation and sentencing. US secretary of states has said that will never happen. Infact, just yesterday he said the United states is going to sanction those judges at the ICC for daring to come after US soldiers who he claims are fighting for freedom. That is one example among many. |

every country have border issues the us and mexico russia and ukraine india and pakistan Nigeria and cameroon
so how's this an expansion? have they become bigger than they have always been land wise?
they have even become smaller after losing taiwan and mongolia Well go tell Philippines, South Korea, Japan, and India. I am sure they are ever ready to disprove you. China is also building islands on international waters. If Benin Republic build an artificial island on the gulf of guinea, won't that be called provocative expansion? |

Buliwyf: Lol. Keep dreaming. If UK steps out of line, China will sanction them in their own way and there's nothing America will do about it. Australia even shares a more hawkish anti-China stance with Trump than the UK does. But what happened? America is mute when the hammer came down. If Britain steps out of line it will also be punished. It's that simple. Economic sanctions of course. But that is where it ends. |

The facts of the matter is that Hong Kong is gone. Two system, one country policy was never going to last forever.
It is foolish to believe that China that is invading other neighbouring countries will leave its own historic territory to run free.
It's too late. UK has no leverage. They already cancelled the huawei 5G UK project at the behest of America.
They also cancelled the contract for a Chinese company to build the nuclear power stations, also at the behest of America.
China is certainly not in the mood to entertain any UK interference. |
